Although
we
did
not
stay
at
this
hotel,
I’m
compelled
to
leave
a
review
because
of
our
exceptional
experience
with
the
staff
there.
We
were
unfortunately
caught
up
in
the
riots
in
the
city
centre
at
the
end
of
November
and
weren’t
able
to
get
back
to
our
hotel
-
we
stopped
into
the
Trinity
hotel
to
try
to
get
a
room
(no
luck)
and
then
stayed
in
their
lobby
bar
to
try
to
wait
for
a
cab
to
be
available.
At
this
point
it
was
midnight
and
freezing
outside
and
we
were
really
concerned
about
where
we
would
spend
the
night
as
the
guards
had
advised
there
were
rioters
around
and
it
wasn’t
safe
on
the
street.
Although
the
Trinity
was
fully
booked,
the
reception
staff
were
so
helpful
and
even
called
a
nearby
hotel
for
us
to
try
and
secure
a
room.
Their
bar
staff
were
so
kind
and
understanding
and
made
us
feel
welcomed
and
comfortable
despite
not
being
official
guests.
And
the
very
best
of
all
was
Peter
the
doorman
-
he
was
running
around
trying
to
hail
taxis
for
us
and
others
who
were
also
stuck
and
giving
great
advice
about
possible
alternatives
or
how
to
get
out
of
the
city.
And
at
1am
he
ran
into
the
lobby
to
tell
us
he’d
found
us
a
cab
-
and
we
were
able
to
get
back
to
our
hotel
safely
through
the
back
streets
and
past
the
blockades!
It
was
truly
above
and
beyond
and,
as
we
promised
him,
we
are
definitely
going
to
stay
at
the
Trinity
next
time
we
are
in
town.
So
thank
you
Peter
for
your
kindness
and
generosity
and
for
helping
us
get
back
home
safely,
we
will
see
you
next
time!
