I came here because they had really good reviews and I heard so much about them. However, I had the most horrible experience. I asked for a sandwich without bacon and he very aggressively replied that the sandwiches are pre-made, even though I could clearly see behind him inside the kitchen that the sandwiches were being made from scratch for every customer. And it was clearly because he was racist and he assumed that I was Muslim. Inhumane behaviour at this age and world that we live in. Didn’t expect this from Ireland and a business that has such good reviews. What a shame! Never coming back here again.

One of the best coffees I've ever had and a lovely toastie reasonably priced staff were very quick at serving and very pleasant and then you can go for a walk up the pier and dogs were welcome to

Disappointing to see the Owner/Manager condone workmen at his business parking their commercial vehicle in a space adjacent to the business premises reserved solely for disabled drivers. “There are plenty of other disabled spaces” or words to that effect was the response. While he did agree to have the driver move the vehicle he claimed I was being aggressive. Standing up for people with disabilities is NOT aggression. It’s simply the right thing to do. It’s 2021, it’s long time drivers stopped parking in a selfish and inconsiderate manner. The 5 stars are for the general staff and indeed the food which I’ve always found exemplary. It’s also so that this review which highlights a serious problem in society is not relegated to the bottom of the reviews where it won’t be seen. It’s an important topic. The manager’s disregard for disabled persons rights and indeed his false and unfounded accusation that I was being aggressive simply because I asked that the driver move the vehicle is noteworthy. I fully support businesses such as this, great food, friendly helpful staff, and they offer much sustenance to walkers /Day visitors, however there needs to be an end to how people abuse the aforementioned disabled spaces. Time of visit : 1pm 24/05/21.

One of my favourite cafés ever!! Came here today for a toastie and a coffee and everything was perfect, I really recommend the iced latte, It was so nice I had to go get another one!! I was amazed by the service and how kind the staff were to each other and the customers, they absolutely made my day!

Great location for before or after a walk on the beach or a swim. But I usually avoid coming here because the crowds are always crazy especially at lunch time on the weekend. The Cappuccino was made well and the Clucking Unbelievable sandwich is always the highlight of the menu

I liked it because it is in a wonderful location and because they have an excellent espresso. In addition, follow all the rules imposed by the pandemic and something over.

I went for walk out this way yesterday for the 1st time in years. Called into this café for a bit to eat before I went further. What a pleasant surpise this place turned out to be. The toasted ham sandwich 🥪 I got was very tasty & the coffee ☕️ was very good. Not only that, there was a good atmosphere there. Customers were polite & everyone seemed in a good mood. The staff were mannerly, friendly & polite. "Thank you" is a phrase that costs nothing & is always welcomed. On my way back from my walk 🚶‍♂️, I had another coffee ☕️ to round up what was a lovely day. Full praise to all the young staff. 🙌.

It's rare that a cafe can add so much to a beauty spot. But that is exactly what this place does. A walk in the winter sun is even better with a Mocha in your hand.

Nice place with a sea view. Usually quiet busy and no indoor seating at the moment. Coffee is nice too.

Lovely spot for a coffee after a walk on the beach. Nicely built up now. Sausage roll tasty but a bit greasy.

Great coffee, great views. And only a stroll away from Clontarf bridge which then leads onto the beach. Ideal location for beach walkers or swimmers.

Always a queue for this place as a great spot to grab a coffee or treat out by Dollymount. Toasties are always made fresh--H'amazing and Clucking Unbelievable are winners 🥪

Lovely coffee place that allows you to get a sandwich, pastries or great coffee while being on a walk in the fresh air. Staff is super friendly, orders are made quickly. Never seen that place not being busy.

One of the best brews in town. The coffee is always amazing, and the pastries are fresh and tasty. They offer different types of toasties and other small dishes which are prepared freshly on site and taste delicious. Nice location right by the sea/Dollymount beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

Great coffee etc. but the place is now badly in need of a deep clean and maintenance. It's looking tired and dirty.

A trendy box cafe located on the beautiful Bull Island (the only cafe there). There’s seating indoors and outdoors. Inside is very narrow/small with an aisle-like layout and seating is on a ‘first-come-first served’ basis (just a watch-out incase you were looking for a guaranteed long sit-down). Interior is well decorated, modern and chic and the coffee is top!

The best and only café on Bull Island. Sheltered from the wind, we had a nice Mocha in the sun.

I've been here a few times and they're pretty good. Ordered 3 kids cheese toasties yesterday, watched them scrape the ham out of the toasties and then hand them to us. Disgusting behaviour. Fair enough they made 3 new ones when I called them out on it. Don't think I'll be back again.

Nice staff. Nice food. But refusing cash as payment is so annoying and off putting . Stops me going in there. Stops the staff getting a tip. Ridiculous. Get it sorted

Coffee and tea were good chocolate had started to melt on the Cadbury snack (maybe they should be moved onto a cooler part) No hair net being worn by staff especially as there is sandwiches being served Tables could do with a good cleaning and maybe a lick of paint also the decking could do with being cleaned

What an amazing little gem hidden away from us mere mortals who didn't know you could drive over the wooden bridge. The coffee was beautiful and the sambo was legend, so happy out!!! Highly recommended!

Really nice spot when the suns out! Went on a Sunday, super busy but big queue moved fairly quick. Good flat white (not hot enough) and iced Americano. Tasty toasties and cakes! Friendly staff.

Well worth the walk to bull Island. Sometimes all you need is a good toastie and at Happy Out they make the best ones! Great spot for a hot drink too.
