Our favourite park to take our dog for a walk after work. It could do with a couple lights though, especially in the winter as we end up walking in the dark after work

Great park with large playground and tennis and basketball courts. Coffee shop open at gate. Also now has the Boxup which is a unit of sports equipment that you can use for free if you download the App 👍

Nice little park and well maintained and clean , very good amenity for the area. Basketball courts and tennis courts always seem to be in use. Playground is popular for families. Also unexpected to have good views across Dublin from the raised area with the soccer pitches. Bonus for this little park is to have the velodrome , on a good day you can sit and watch the cycle races.

Fabulous park, very dog friendly and kept clean and tidy. My only complaint is that there is no lighting....at all....at night.

I went there for a run today and it's one of the most beautiful parks I've seen in Dublin. I was just wow, how amazing it looked. So many folks playing here and there and lots of trees and benches and amazing green grass. I even saw lot of playing areas for kids like swings and rides etc and also areas for playing football. I ran inside the place and it was just beautiful.

Local to me and handy for quick dog walks. They're trying to improve this park and have added Tram Cafe, it's become my lifeline during the past two years.

Great park for physical sports, or walking around with friends. The cafe nearby is grand. One can see everything here within 45min or so, but I encourage visitors to take their time and stroll slowly, embracing nature.

Nice park that’s not as busy as other spots in Dublin. It’s less known so more relaxed. Big sports field on top of the hill offers a great view of the city around.

A very generously sized park. Great for dogs, running, cycling, and all kinds of sports, including tennis and basketball courts.

A very nice park with lawn tennis pitch, basketball, soccer pitch, children play area etc but be aware of notorious teenagers around the area. They could be troublesome during Summers or when schools are at break.

Enjoyed the park, lots of good people watching. The only downside was some men well into their 30s playing heads and volleys like children. They were quite loud, although very skillful with the ball.

Wonderful park with amazing staff such as Liam Darren and I can't remember the man's name perhaps Gregory all of whom have been absolutely great friendly and helpful Liam who helped by entertaining my children while I changed our baby and Greg who played fetch with my dogs in while doing so it is those little things that make such a difference when you've got good people like that working the parks as for the park itself it's always highly maintained you will always see the guys cleaning the rubbish and litter as they go about there daily jobs the playground Is a must for children our little ones adore the swing (which are great because we can seat our youngest into them and she is safe) there is a cafe there but it never bothers to open only maybe an odd day the weekend the DCC should really give that space to another person who would make better use and provide the park with a much needed cafe the park is great for picnics days out with the children romantic walks or walking the dog great work guys keep it up 10 out of 10

I've always called it Sundrive Park. Love it and so does my dog. Gardens are very well looked after. Coffee and toilets are available as well. Great park!

My local park. Very big, calm in the morning,, busy with kids playing in the evening but good buzz. I do my yoga under a tree here. People are friendly. The grass keepers are cool, they wave at me as we see eachother regularly - this is what makes Dublin a warm and friendly place. I love it.

Very clean and well maintained park. A great spot for many places as picnic esp during summers. Stroll or walk with friends and dog friendly as well. A variety of sports are played in the park : football pitches , tennis court and also has velodrome for cycling.

It's a beautiful park, my nearest park from my house when I was younger. Myself and my friends would always go to the park and sunbathe in the summer time. The hot tar on the running track would have us all going home as tan as can be, and some going home burnt. It's a great park for a picnic in the nice weather, it has a children's playground, and an Astro football pitch. A lot of great work went into the park, it's lovely to take a stroll through. I still enjoy going to or cutting through the park, it's very beautiful! 😊

Eamonn Ceannt park is great for dogs. Huge section at the top of the hill with goalposts for kids to play and a large playground too. It also has 2 tennis courts, a basketball court and a velodrome (but I think to use it you must be a member of the cycling club). Could do with more benches and seats though

    A nice family oriented park

  • 5/5 Mari C. 2 years ago on Google
Park is very clean and spacious. Ideal for getting together with family, friends and children for a picnic, but if you prefer, you can go hiking, play basketball or play tennis. For children there is a playground to compete in the fun. In the upper area it is possible to play football. For those who like to cycle here in this park they have a velodrome sundrive, and you need to ask at reception to know how to use this alternative. But you can ride around the velodrome without having internal access. I noticed that they put some picnic tables, I thought it was really nice. I recommend it to the whole family and to anyone who likes a quiet place.

The park itself is lovely My issue is that as a person who needs a mobility scooter to get around. It means that access to my local park is denied because of the "kiss" /security gates. I have been in touch with my local DC Councillors,TDs and even the Parks Dept to no avail. So my tip is this if you depend on a wheelchair, mobility scooter or a baby buggy...don't waste your time You can't gain access

Really nice park, it has playground tennis courts basketball court, running/cycling track. Exercise machines. The playground is more suited to toddlers though. My 8 Yr old was way too big to really enjoy it.

There needs to be more features added to the park, Lots of space, but nothing much to do in it. The grounds need to be maintained more often. The playground is good for the kids, But needs to be monitored more regularly.

A good and big park, but there's nothing interesting to do.

One of the better grade 1 parks in Dublin. Probably hidden gem in Crumlin. Dog owners do need to pick up dog poo and DCC need to invest more into the park.

  • 4/5 Alex H. 2 years ago on Google
We'll maintained park. Some scummy teenagers lurk here.

Pleasant place to walk. I use it as a short cut. Lots of children use play ground and there is a lot of activity. I would prefer if they insisted on dogs being on leads. A few time it has been like being in the middle of a wolf pack.

Very quiet and nice park to walk and run. The new cafe bar is nice and the baby play park is also good. I would recommend for a stroll with babies. Playing pitch areas are also very good and accessible and it is well located for D6W and D12 neighbors.
