Airfield Estate was a dream venue to be married at. My husband and I had an elopement ceremony outside in the walled garden and it was amazing. The grounds are filled with beautiful greenery - wildflowers, large trees, and flowing grasses. The main house is full of character and detail. Everywhere you look there is a unique setting for stunning photos. The event planning team is friendly and professional, and effortlessly coordinates each small detail. From the very first call they (thank you Eliza & Sinead!) were excited and helpful. This was very important as we were traveling from the US and had never seen Airfield Estate in person. They communicated and happily worked with our photographer and celebrant and were present the day of our ceremony to provide extra support! The on-site patisserie chef and florist created a beautiful bouquet and cake to add to our intimate celebration. We were so impressed not only with the location, but by the care and detail the entire Airfield team puts toward your special day. Airfield Estate goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding day is perfect! Photos: Jasna Pasalic Photography Celebrant: Ceremonies by Elizabeth

You can buy tickets in advance from their website. There is plenty of car parking available there. It’s a 20 acre land, so you get to walk a lot. There are animals like pig 🐖, cows 🐄 in the farm. There is also gardens and many place to enjoy time with your friends and family. It was a good visit for us.

This place is a Paradise! Especially if you have children. So many things to see and to do. It's a number 1, to visit in summer! They have egg collection at 10 a.m at the chickens coup, then cow milking at 10:30 a.m. There are 2 donkeys, many sheep, goats, some cows with calfs. There is a big garden with picnic area and coffee shop. Even the farmhouse is possible to enter and see the history of the owners, their bedrooms, their family photos. Everywhere is nice and clean. There are basins to wash hands in many places around the farm and also sanitisers. Many benches to sit and have your sambos with your family and friends. The staff is very attentive and very helpful. My daughter had a ball there today. We even purchased some organic fresh eggs from the farm and made a delicious omlete out of them at home!

This place has its own history .. it's a farm within a city . In the modern world if kids want to see what happens on the farm how plants are cultivated ..what farmers do .. this place is the one to visit . It's a beautiful place with varieties of veggies , animals , poultry , organic restaurants .. it's a must visit place over any of the weekend. #Farm #Kids #Dublin #Dundrum #Ireland #Tourism #ComeVisitDublin #Nature #Organic #Restaurant

Nice place to spend time with family, friends or just on your own for a little escape. Lovely flower and vegetable garden and farm animals. Little playground in the forest. Forest facilities needs and upgrade though along the pond. Restaurant a bit overpriced but overall we had nice experience.

The gardens are lovely and fantastically well maintained, however I was expecting much more from the farm section which was disappointing. There were very few animals and all were too far away for any meaningful interaction with the children. The €12 entrance fee per adult is high and I doubt we’ll be back as a result. Unfortunately the takeaway coffee was cold and our pastries were somewhat stale.

Visited for the first time this weekend. Lovely farm so close to where I go shopping. Farmer's market had good vegetables, meats, and some cheeses plus a few other things. Fields and barn had cute animals. Gardens have a variety of vegetables and some flowers. Historic estate house was informative with a great tour. Restaurant had tasty lunch food and pastries, with farm milk for the tea! Will be visiting again even before spring next year.

I love Airfield. You can visit it at any time of the day or year and always find a peaceful spot to walk around. It is a great place to visit for all ages, old and young. They have Airfield House filled with history of the Overend family that lived there from the beginning of the 20th century until late into the century. They have the farm with cows, sheep, pigs, goats, chicken and two donkeys. And they have lots of play and picnic areas for families, an indoor play barn, three outdoor woodland play area and picnic benches around the estate. Also, they have Stables Cafe with is a great spot to buy a hot chocolate and toastie sandwich or just to take a break.

We regularly visit Airfield and always have a wonderful time. Today was extra special, as a family we got to build our very own scarecrow with the help of two lovely staff members! Our two young boys loved every single second and haven’t stopped talking about their day. Thank you for making it an even more magical place!

Entrance fee that’s a little on the higher side for a smaller sized estate. However, we were impressed by the farm, especially the produce. There could be more animals for the kids. Overall, a great experience for a small outing for a family.

We are regular visitors to Airfield and are v impressed with the extras they have added since COVID. The gardens are beautiful, kids spend hours climbing the magnificent trees in front of the house. Highly recommend doing the house tour. Our guide, Catherine, was brilliant and gave a very engaging tour. We had lunch in the restaurant which was delicious before exploring some more. There's an indoor soft play area which provides some shelter from showers and barn with soil experiments etc was fantastic. Great day out supporting nature and the legacy of the incredible Overend sisters.

Great spot for tiring the kids out running from pen to pen for goats, chickens, hens, pigs, cows and donkeys! Lovely gardens growing all sorts of fruit and veg as well as sunflowers. We will be back for sure. Weird thing though, we bought tickets in advance but on the day everyone was just walking in so it seemed a waste, not sure what the tickets are for but glad to support the place either way.

Great place to go with kids. Very unexpected to find such a big farm in the middle of the city. The cafe is also fantastic. Really good food at decent prices.

Airfield is the perfect venue for a wedding! I had the total pleasure of photographing a wedding here last summer and it was stunning. The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful and there are so many gorgeous spots for photographs within walking distance, it was a total dream to photograph. Lovely setting, delicious food and chilled vibes. Highly recommend. Big thanks to all the staff and looking forward to working with you all again soon!

I photographed Monica & Darragh's wedding in Airfield on one of the wettest days of the year this year but it really made no difference at all. The grounds and the house are as beautiful as each other and we managed to get a gap in the rain to go outside for portraits. The staff were amazing, considering the challenging circumstances, they insured guests got from ceremony to reception to dinner without getting wet, no mean feat considering the torrential rain. Shout out to Jose in particular, the on the day co-ordinator, who really helped me out throughout the day. I can't wait to get back to Airfield for my next wedding there.

Great all year round. Airfield Membership is well worth it for families with babies and toddlers if you live locally. Always something happening. Market and restaurant a bonus, plus we really enjoyed their wine club and tasting menu nights.

The most beautiful wedding! Can't recommend this place highly enough. Rachel was fantastic in helping plan the wedding whilst Jason and Jose were brilliant support on the day. We loved the ethos of the place so are over the moon that our special day could take place here. And of course the food and wine (+ Guinness on tap & local craft beers) were spectacular.

Just had lovely experience in Airfield with my 3 year old grandchild. Santa was kind and gentle but the delight is the young staff who are engaged with the young visitors. Also the walk through the farm and gardens is wonderful. Definitely recommend this as an activity with grandchildren .

Beautiful way to spend an afternoon with my 1 year old. Relaxing and intruging for both parents and children. Wonderful facility to have in a large built up area. Good value for what it cost also. We spent 2.5 hours there and could have stayed for longer. Tip is to bring your own food. Lots of picnic tables and at weekends it seems lots of queues for food and it is not cheap.
