Had dinner during the races, very friendly staff. Recommended to do for a night out. Food was decent, but not that great. Really fun atmosphere

Such good fun! We had a fantastic evening and luckily came away with some money. I've never been dog racing but its relatively easy to understand the brochure and put some simple bets on. Definitely recommend coming along for the evening.

Very poor, the place is out dated and needs a better layout. Food was okay not the best selection for people, and the totes people are very slow or the races are just to quick at starting. Servers could be better if the there was a way to get them down to your table. Totes need to server the customers that paid for the restaurant tote server not server walk ins that are to lazy to walk up to the tote boots. I think the restaurant area should be closed off so no walk ins can just walk over and make bets while you are wait to make your bet.

Good night at the dogs. Unfortunately there was no results called out after races or if there. Was they could not be heard. A bit of music in between races is excellent but only came on towards end of night. There was only one cashier on taking bets at the counter( poor girl) but she done a great job. Drink a bit pricey. Food OK. Second time there won't go a third 😔

My first time watching Greyhound racing and it was really fun. tickets are very affordable too.

I came here today with my family and we had a brilliant time! We pre-booked a restaurant package so that we had a 4 course meal and a glass of wine each. The 4 course meal came with a starter, main (including steak), dessert and a tea/coffee at the end. The food came throughout the evening, it wasn't rushed so that we were finished way before the races began which was lovely. The food was brilliant. It exceeded all of my expectations. I didn't find any pictures of the food online, so hopefully these attached will help. Everything we had was cooked very well, nicely presented and tasted lovely. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive asking if we wanted more drinks and chatting about our wins (mainly losses!). The betting staff came to out tables before each race to take our bets so we did not have to leave our dinner to participate. They were also helpful at explaining anything we didn't understand which was great for someone new to it like me! Almost all of the tables had a great view of the track. I would imagine that if you booked the cheapest restaurant tickets with short or no notice you would have these seats, but ours were great and the majority of the other seats would have been equally as good. I believe that the restaurant could hold close to 300 people, so there isn't a need to book too in advance unless you are part of a really big group. There was also detailed information for Greyhound owners on responsibly rehoming their dogs once they had finished racing which I found refreshing. Overall a great evening and I would highly recommend it for a night out!

I had very nice experience there. Food, staff and the whole environment was excellent. I recommend this place and very suitable for birthday or wedding anniversary gift. Some pictures on the food I had which was 10/10.

Great place for bit of a laugh with friends Never do your bets at once as many dogs are changed... bet every race just beforehand 3 dogs i picked were changed last minute..also dont think your free beer with the booking is a pint cause its a bottle. Food is 6/10 i would rather get food beforehand and just pay entry fee when i get there.

Had a fun evening with my friends at the dograce, food was okay and pints were good. Friendly staff who take time to explain stuff.

Mixed bag here. Food was amazing for food I give 10/10. Service was hit n miss, we could only have drinks on a tab for the night which at end of the night were totally mixed up with rest of our party. Numerous asked for extra glasses to be removed to no avail. Set up for betting great. Love young woman. I felt our waiter was over exerted. Many more staff would resolves this.

Went with the family, and have to say it was brilliant. The staff, especially Clinton were so attentive. The manager even came and spoke to us about a food allergy my mum has. Honestly a great night!

Had a great evening here recently. Booked a table in the Grandstand Restaurant overlooking the track. It was €10 for our entry and this secured a table. The menu was good with some decent options for starter, main and dessert (€15 - €25 range for mains). You have to order at least one course but this is fine. There is table service for drinks and tote betting which is very convenient. All the staff were great, friendly and polite. The speed of the service was excellent and in general there was a very nice atmosphere around the place. Highly recommend going here on a Friday night if you're looking for something to do. Will be back!

A brilliant night out. We got dinner and stayed for the full racecard of 12 races. Food was as good as any restaurant and you can place bet from the dinner table without having to queue at the tote desks. Highly recommended.

We had a great night at Sherbourne Park when we were on holiday in Dublin. Good atmosphere, helpful friendly staff and very reasonably priced entry, food and drinks. We would recommend to anyone on holiday looking for a break from Temple Bar.

A wonderful evening out. We paid a deposit of €40 which got us a lovely table overlooking the track. The bookie comes to table so you can have a flutter! Highly recommend it for a good evening out

Great place to loose all your money and laugh about it. All joking aside it's a good night out bars are well stocked, could improve the food offering it's a bit like a greasy van at a football match

Very well organised, quick bets at the table everyone,kids allowed and kids menu available, not much choice of food in my opinion, the fish is super fresh though, lot of fun anyway, book well in advance!

Great night out. Wheelchair accessible, Staff are great friendly and really done there best for a party of 47 people in our group , the atmosphere brilliant we had a small problem which they where very quick to solve. Would definitely go again.

Great night but they packed too many in - it was very difficult to see the races on the screens from our position could not see the track. Food was good. And always lots of parking. The Bar menu didn't offer much for the designated driver except one VERY Expensive bottle of 00 beer and small bottles of VERY Expensive fizzy drinks so I drank water for the night.

We had an amazing night in Shelbourne Park!! It was our first time bringing our 2 girls!! They really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, especially when daddy won a few quid on the tote!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend for a night out, 🥰🥳😉

Definitely a fun place to hand out with whomever, whether a date, the kids, or just the squad. The side attraction i.e the dog race make for an exciting event to watch with people betting and shouting when they win their bets or laughing if they loose. 😄

Staff and food were excellent. We booked a table and ordered from the menu. We didn't have to get up for anything. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended it.

Absolutely amazing! I went here with family and it was just a brilliant night. The food was beautiful. We had the 3 course meal with the show and amazing seats for the races. The staff were so on it and polite. Really a nice vibe all night long. Would highly recommend for a night out and will be back.

Best to book a meal so you can get your bets placed while sitting at the table. Nice food too so worthwhile just if you want a meal. Helpful staff who were keen to please. Definitely worth a visit.

Great night out. Went for date night with the hubby food was amazing and the staff were so attentitive and nothing was too much trouble highly recommend Shelbourne for a night out will definitely be back.

Had the such a great night yesterday! The only drawback was we reached 20 mins earlier,but all the doors were closed,we were told by the security that only at 6 30 pm we could enter so we waited outside,but when we arrived inside,there was already people seated..and about to order their food.. But the warm welcome received from the Manager Vimal and the staffs made up for the wait! The atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable Food was awesome!Very elegant and yummy! Aoife was our waitress,she was so kind and served us really well! The guy,with the money,tickets etc,he was very nice too (sryy can't remember his name,he wore glasses) Overall Worth it!Will definitely come back again Our first experience there,was really 👍

Best Greyhound stadium in the world. Apart from Tom Barry and Frank Finnigan track with worst bookmakers in the world. Track needs new blood and new bookmaker before numbers arresting fall for good.

I was a bit sceptical before going to Shelbourne Park because I'm not used to bet. However this was a very good discover ! Everything is great. The place is friendly, betting areas are clear and the courses are fun. Great place to spend time with friends !

Absolutely brilliant night. So well organised and value for money. Had our 12 and 6 year old with us. All table service didnt have to leave the table. Excellent service and all guidelines followed. Definitely a night out to be had.

Not as popular as said in touristic guides but still good fun. A bit far from city center. I didn't stay more than 3 races because it gets repetitive but a nice experience

Great experience at Shelbourne Park. Visited as a tourist to Ireland having always wanted to experience Grey Hound racing. Family friendly, vibrant atmosphere and a different Saturday night out. Recommended for all visitors to Dublin.
