AVOID at any cost if you don't want to damage your car. I end up damaging my car. Worst parking I ever park, the ramp, parking space are extremely narrow, very poorly designed. Most probably you end up damaging your car. They are very greedily designed. AVOID, AVOID and Avoid

DO NOT PARK HERE. Horrible spaces, too tight. I have a fairly small car and I still manage to spend quite some time trying to get the car out. Thankfully I managed to get my car without a scratch but I will NEVER park my car here again. This would be solved if they dropped a single car space on the floor and made the ramps larger. But nooo.... Greed is way to high! Gotta squeeze that profit the most! Prices are also an authentic robbery.

Used this car park because we stayed at Jurys Inn Hotel and had a discounted rates offered for parking there. We wanted to park for 48 hours. The website and signage are very clear about charges. Despite other feedback left here we found that providing you drive carefully, there is plenty of space in each parking bay although the turning points are tight, they are not impossible. We had a small problem when checking out of the hotel which meant they couldn't validate our parking ticket with the discount, but after using the intercom on the parking machine our ticket was re issued at the correct discounted rate was charged. The car park was very clean, appeared secure and has a pedestrian exit directly into the hotel which is ideal if you're staying there. Overall excellent experience. Thank you

Of you driving size of the car like....we say passat, getting out is real challenge. So narrow. Not sure why they have so high kerbs on both sides of driveway. It's radicolously disigned to easily demage your car or at least your rims. If you have so tight entrance what's the point to have a massive kerb along the wall?

I feel Qpark puts women in danger late at night. I parked here in Christchurch recently and when I got back with my €20 cash, their machine wouldn't accept cash. If you can only pay with cash, please remember this. I had no money on my card and there was no notification that they refuse cash upon entry or I'd have gone elsewhere. This left my car trapped in the car park with no human person there to go to for help by the time I came back with my cash payment. I called their assist button, got the most horrible man the other end of the line who was immediately rude and unhelpful. He told me they didn't accept cash. He didn't care that they didn't inform me of that before parking and that I had legal tender there, which should be accepted. I tried to reason with him, tried to give him my card number so they could take the cash from it the next day so I could lodge it in. He refused. I got really angry then about his stubborn, rotten, obnoxious and purposefully unhelpful attitude and started to really panic. He told me I'd have to leave my car locked up there all night until staff came the following day. I told him I lived 2 hours away a few counties away and couldn't do that. He didn't care in the least. He immediately took the attitude that I was trying to scam them out of my 18 euros fee. This 'assistant' was completely intractable. He told me either just leave the car there all night or go outside and find someone who'd pay my parking fee with their card, and give them the cash. I told him my worries of being put in danger doing this: wandering into that dark alley alone after midnight begging strangers for their bank cards and he said smugly "if you feel uncomfortable, call the Gards." To be clear: I had the money to pay, I was ready and willing to pay. In response QPark were obnoxious, unhelpful and told a lone woman to go out into a dark alleyway after midnight to ask a complete stranger for money in order to get my car out. At no point when I entered the carpark was there any signage saying that they refuse legal tender and that when you return they'll simply shrug and leave you stuck there. They have not responded to my complaint to their customer care email and I related this story on Twitter so that other women aren't put in this dangerous position and they blocked me rather than addressing their issue of refusing cash payments and having no information anywhere stating that. If you can park with any other parking firm, do! (My story had a happy ending of a kind stranger helping me, but I could easily have ended up in a very bad situation.) I simply cannot believe any company would treat any customer like this and instead of apologising or promising to do better, simply ignore and block any criticism. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Ridiculously narrow; good luck opening the door of your SUV or 2-door coupe. Tight corners, you will see abundant paint marks and scraped off bumper plastic where care is needed. Be patient; other drivers are also trying to negotiate the corners and manoeuvring to get into a space, it will take time to park or leave. Expensive. All machines out of order, no credit card payment possible, had to pay cash, so again, be patient, there may be a queue at the cashier. First and last time.

Avoid at all costs. The narrowest car park I’ve been in (and I’ve parked in Parisian garages!!) with tiny turning circles to go up the ramps. Plenty of scuffs on the barriers where poor unsuspecting motorists scraped their car. The car parking bays are also narrow, extremely difficult if you have kids (as I did). Not only is it narrow and tight, it’s also bloody expensive. Plenty of other options.

I drove, a 4 door Toyota Corolla, in and out of this car park multiple times. This was my first time driving in Ireland and only my second time with RHD (1st time was 15 years ago in Australia). If you go slow and take it wide you will not have any troubles. Ignore all the others with the trouble they had. I found Dublin to be relatively easy to drive with Google Maps. I brought a phone holder and had it right in my face; create no blind spot is my tip with this type of device. The drivers are no where as crazy and full of rage like in the US. Use your blinker and you will find the locals are happy to let you in. Another separate DRIVING TIP; drive the speed you are happy with and others will go around you when allowed. Most drivers here are not full of rage. RURAL ROAD TIP, keep your left curves tight and your right curves wide. If you cant see around or over then slow it down til clear, then stomp on the skinny. If you are still reading, then talk with Paddy or Danny in the Q lot for help with the parking tab if you are staying multiple days at Jurys Inn Christchurch. They are very kind.

Very tight entry to the car park , steel roller shutter seems faulty, nearly hit the front of my bonnet upon entry. Very expensive car park, was charged €14.90 for 2 1/2 hours . Payment machine as you enter the car park from the hotel side does not accept Revolut card. My ticket then got stuck in the machine. Pressed the help button to be connected to a call centre in the UK, woman barking orders at me in a condescending rude manner. Had to use my AIB debit card then. Will not be returning to this car park, rip off central. Lower your prices and make the car park spaces larger. Upon departing male member of staff in a black polo t-shirt walked in front of my car as I placed ticket in machine to exit car park. Strange behaviour and weird layout, wont be returning ever.

This car park is so narrow the car barely fit. Not only are the entry and exit ways very narrow but having to do a three point turn at the bottom of each ramp just to get up the ramps is ridiculous. My car is not especially big but was within a couple of inches front and back from the high curbs up the ramps. I would never park here again.

A bit pricey but that is to be expected as its im the city centre. The turns are narrow and it is always mostly full. The exit through the hotel is nice but got a nasty surprise as its closed and cant be used later in the evening. The back entrance is a bit dark and unsafe to use later.

Q-Park Christchurch is an excellent choice for convenient and secure parking. The attentive staff, especially Daniel, aka β€˜Bishop’, goes above and beyond to provide excellent service to ensure a pleasant experience. It's important to note that the parking lots are on the smaller side, which might pose a challenge for larger vehicles. However, the overall convenience, security, and exceptional service provided by the staff make Q-Park Christchurch a top recommendation for hassle-free parking.

Compacts only! The spaces are tiny and if you are driving anything bigger than a small car, you'd better be comfortable with small spaces and tight obstructed corners. I would park elsewhere unless necessary.

This car park is like a Chinese puzzle.. The further in you get the harder it is to get out. Mega tight spaces and trying to get out is a real challenge. Kerbed my rear wheel and that was really trying not to. Don't go in if u drive anything bigger than a 1960 mini

I left my car here and was delighted with the service I received, the steward Cameron helped me through the exit and gave me great places to check out in Dublin. Thanks again

worst car park ever, very tight, avoid if you have a car bigger then a fiat 500. you don't need to be the worst driver to scratch your car. also it takes more than 30m to exit.

Daniel was absolutely fantastic. We didn't know how to work machine on way in and he was so helpful while being friendly and funny. On the way out he was over to help before we even asked. I've never seen anyone as happy at their work and he is a credit to his employers

Great parking for The Olympia. Pre-booked and parked easily. Camera did not recognise the plate on exit, but there was someone on hand to sort it out

Worst car park ever. Extremely narrow drive way due to which my car rim got scratches, ticket stuck in ticket machine when you press help button they takes ages to answer. They charge alot of money while the service is not good.

I forgot how narrow the entry and exit ramps are in this place. Really takes a lot of care and concentration not to bump your car into the ramps if you drive a slightly bigger car. 18 euro for 3 hours (5:15 pm to 8:15 pm) on a weekday……… Great location gives it more than 1 star.

Tight, but this is not biggest issue. I was charged €4.60 because I arrived 7 minutes prior my booking slot that costs €9.00, and Customer Service said it is OK to charge me. Jokers.

Difficult to navigate corners. Can easily damage your vehicle. Some effort should be made to mitigate that. Otherwise clean and in ok repair. Prices aren't great to make up for it either.

  • 3/5 Ian B. 2 years ago on Google
As many of the reviews have pointed out, the entire place is extremely tight and if you're in a larger vehicle, I would suggest you try to find another place to park. On the plus side, it appears to be well looked after, is brightly lit and while price rates are high, they're about in line with other parking facilities in Dublin city. I would recommend that unless you're comfortable with making maneuvers in extremely tight space that you give this one a miss.

If you got an estate car dont waste your time, go anywhere but here. The tightest car park weve ever been to. Its difficult to get anywhere in there. Or to get out of your car once youre finally parked. Wont be back for sure!

Upon exiting the car park we met a very helpful and friendly member of your Staff, Daniel. He helped with directions and advice for our day. As it was my first time driving in Dublin he was very helpful with questions I had. It made our day of site seeing that much better, to be greeted by a friendly face. It was great having a secure place to park. Thank You Dan and Q-Park

Careful if you plan on parking there for a gig in Vicar Street. There is a homeless man trying to pevent you from getting a ticket at the entrance. Loads of people fall for it and this lead to everyone queuing endlessly, trapped inside. No sign of security people.

Cost of parking was fairly steep but Dan the Man was a legend! Great character, absolutely lovely guy and gave us a good laugh!
