Nice grocery store with all the usual items. The deli is especially nice with lots of choices for take away hot foods. In the mornings, serving Full Irish Breakfast for take out, too. The bakery has a lot of fresh bread and pastries. Parking is 1hr free at the car park.

There's a really good Dunnes Stores and a couple of nice shops, but the area as a whole just lacks any soul. Perhaps it's that it's surrounded by taller buildings and doesn't get much natural sunlight, but it's not a place I like to visit.

After shopping, make sure to go to Elephant & Castle for some incredible Chicken Wings. You will not be disappointed.

Very good ambience. There is not much parking outside. Very polite staff. There are many kids high chairs. There is Japanese and Thai food on the menu..

It a great place, especially for the people who lives nearby residences but also for the people who works around here or come here for big Dunnes. First of all, Dunnes is huge, it has every Dunnes products you want and you would ever look for. Other than that it has around Musashi, Elephant and Castle, Taco place and a lot more.

It's not a shopping court I would go out of my way to get to. The Dunnes is fairly standard. Smaller than a general Dunnes Stores but still has a great selection. As for the rest of the mall, there is a chemist, liqueur store, baby store some eateries and high end / specialized furniture stores. This mall was built back when there were great plans for the area however that stalled and what was left behind was a soleless concrete jungle.

Found it difficult to find. Such a built up area of apartments and businesses. His lovely secretary came down to meet me to show me were to go. A bit of a maze. Saying that, the clinic was spotless and comfortable. Dr walsh was extremely professional and friendly. Would definitely attend again Many thanks Donna

Alas, the mixed commercial/residence area has seen a downfall since Covid times, with less businesses open. Still, in addition to the walking zone with kids area, there is a Dunne's supermarket, several restaurants and cafeterias. Quiet, safe area to live on, just a few blocks away , 5 minutes walk from Luas Stillorgan stop.

First time in it so really had mixed reaction Dunnes was really a disappointment although it was clean and staff were really nice but mens department appeared lost in itself no joined up thinking and rails over stacked with clothes with no size rotation apparent and poor stock of mens clothes , but my wife felt happier with the womens section.T Elephant and Castle restaurant was on the other hand clean ,friendly and the food really nice but you needed to eat quickly as hot food went cold very quickly due to temperature being on the low side we also visited the chemist in the centre and it and the staff were friendly and nice ambience, The Car Park was reasonably priced but it is full of those pillars and lethal if you get too close although there is limited parking on the shop level which more suitable for those with mobility issues. All in all there remains room for improvement more suitable for a quick shop then a long browse

Beacon is a bit of a soulless place but has come on a bit in recent years with the addition of some new restaurants. O Briens wines is great down there. Parking is OK plenty of spaces.

Good shop most things available plenty of aisles with different products noticed that their is subtle price increase week on week they would need to watch that as I have started to price watch themselves and Tesco.

Great location with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from. Loads of free parking and something to entertain all members of the family. Give it a visit soon. Also nearby is the beacon hotel and hospital and a lot of home decor shops in the business the park.

Worst place to live in Dublin. High rents , no security , dirty everywhere , neighbours using the drill at 6 am , groups of loud teenagers aloud in the buildings , if you ring security they will ask you to call Garda. None of the parcels are dropped in the apartment building, all of them will go to the concierge 🤣. No one respects the daily schedule for the bin room ... All the apartments are old and they all have issues with water infiltration from above neighbours. You ring the agency and they will send someone several times until they fix the issue , usually takes more than a month for the issue to be fixed and sometime more than a year. Fire alarms testing at 7 am and so on... Stay as far as you can !!

I have seen the apartments (2 bed and 2 bath) and they are really nice with all modern amenities. Though the rent is at higher side. Very close to the Stillorgan luas stop as well. There are some grocery stores (dunnes and Aldi) and pharmacy stores available here as well. Some nice restaurants can be found as well. Unsure if the gym is still in operation though.

Nice apartments, good coffee and food on bottom floor, lovely big Dunne's Stores on bottom floor. Not much else nearby but the Luas stop is 4 minute walk and you can be in town in 25 minutes on that. Grand job.

I really enjoyed shopping in the Beacon South Quarter. The experience was very much great. However, they have a very small range of shops and lots of restaurants and takeaways. I really enjoyed my time shopping here. I would definitely recommend shopping here with your family.

Bought a new 5ft divan bed mattress and headboard. Also bought a 5ft mattress and 2x3ft mattresses. Very professional and got great advice from Craig. Good quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommended 👍

The best way I can describe this area for people is that it’s a business park, industrial estate, private residential living area all packed into one. On-top of that there’s a private medical hospital in it as well. Be careful driving around this area as many people are not familiar with the road layouts or lanes and road signs and cause unnecessary road accidents as well.

Really a good place to live This place has FLYFIT, Dunnes, ALDI, JYSK, Zambrero, barber, pizza hut, coffee shot and Starbucks etc. Good connectivity to LUAS and bus. Also have some really good restaurants such as southern spices.

A modern relic from Ireland's previous property boom on the '00's. This place has matured quite well with a solid retail offering including some nice local shops such as the Coffee Shot coffee shop.

A horses for courses kind of place. Notnanhuge amount of shops and those that are there tend to be high price designer types. Great if budget stretches that far. Some good places to eat too. Some areas already look a little tired, probably on account of the number of flats in the area (seems very high density housing)

It's very handy for me, it's the close dunnes and it's very well equipped. I enjoy browsing around the clothes and I buy my groceries there too. It also has some very cool furniture shops.

Plenty of parking which is free for 2 hours with a big Dunnes store and some good choices of food, coffee shops and a pharmacy.

It has a decent mix of shops but the large kids' museum in the centre, which has not reopened since Covid-times and needed repair before then, ruins the whole aesthetic.

  • 5/5 Noreen M. 1 year ago on Google
Plenty of free parking (up to 2 hours) Good selection of shops & were not crazy busy despite it being 4 days to Xmas.

There's not a lot going on, apart from food shops and hair and nails salon. If you do want your Nails done to the highest standard go to Silk and ask for Helen, she's amazing.

Good spot, aparments are nice, good choice of shops and Cafes Nice benches and tables on the upper garden beside the fountain. So, why 2 stars? Some evident sign of lack of maintenance on walls and metal/wood painting, furthermore a friend of mine got a 1K bicycle stolen from the "secure" parking and security/manage couldn't care less..

Quiet place for working families, surrounded by essential amenities (Luas/ bus transport, bank, grocery, church, hospital, pharmacies, gyms, children's library, restaurant, appliance centre, off-licence shops). Discover yourself! Not for the easily depressed though. 😅

Visited beacon barber's. Wow what an experience I've never had my hair cut the way they did in beacon barber's. Amazing, staff are very friendly and will assist you in any way they can. I'm used to chop chop their you go. But it wasn't like that in beacon barber's. Best hair cutting experience I've ever had. Well worth a visit.
