    Absolute horror service. Girl in hatch one with lack of customer service skills. 24.01 7 minutes late for an appointment Luas took some time to get to Citywest and I ran to make it as soon as possible. I got there at 11.57 for my 11.50 appointment. Late yes but there's signs all over the office saying appointments if I'm 10 minutes late the appointment is cancelled. She was no help and while i plead my case of being there before 12pm she proceeded to call me a liar by telling me i was not there before 12. You need to teach your staff how to deal with customers better that have taken a half day off work to go there. TAKE DOWN THE 10 MINUTE SIGNS IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE FOLLOWED

    They charge fairly high fee yet their website is not up to date with their policies around Covid. The site says walk-ins are going on yet the rules in the centre are different. When showed the website they brushed me off saying the site has not been updated.

    Went up to apply for my learners permit around 2 weeks ago , and the woman that called me into the booth was so rude. She asked for all of my documents needed and I gave them to her. With this application I needed a proof of address , and when she took it off me , she may aswell have had a megaphone shouting ,‘That’s not in date so it’s not allowed’. It is my fault that I never read the date on it , but for her to shout that over a room with other people in it is very disrespectful. I had another piece of paper with my home address on it and it was the page you get with the results of your theory test on it, which clearly has your name, your home address & your PPS number , so anything she needed was all there. So when I handed that to her ,she replied back with ‘That’s not accepted’ and I said why not and she said ‘That’s only proof to them of your address , not us’. And if she let me even reply to what she had said I would of asked her more questions about it, but she was too busy chatting to the girl in the next booth about having to get someone to kill a spider that was in her room & how she has an awful fear of spiders. No privacy in the place at all, staff may aswell be telling everyone your business. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here until they sort out their staff.

    Absolutely disgraceful service. Very rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. My dad came in to get his license replaced as his was stolen to which they acted which such hostility. Three tills were open and empty and not one member of staff spared him 10 minutes to help him. They are still living in pandemic times with their "appointments" and wait times. They just don't want to work. Would steer away from them.

    No signage or reception person upon entry as to guiding one as to what to do, where to go etc. Nothing only 6 x blind curtains to greet you. Appointment time was excellent and process was timely dealt with. Some good manner pleasantries / courtesy would be nice. I.e say hello & no yawning multiple times when dealing with me.

    Very happy with the service I received @ NDLS Citywest. The young man who dealt with my drivers license renewal was polite and efficient. I received my new license today - exactly a week after my appointment. My only criticism was the lack of signage inside the office to advise people of the system - no staff in sight - all behind curtains.

    I'm a senior citizen. I counted 3 seats. No toilet facilities. For a public office. Found the assistant very indifferent. After having my application screened and paid for. I then received a letter from Cork rejecting my application for renewal. Start the whole process again. Waiting over an hour for someone to answer phone. Gave up. Now driving on expired driving licence

    Some times you won't get what you need sorted but you will be so well treated that you will go back home happy, that's not the case in there. Terrible customer service, never coming back. I have to be fair and say I can't put all of them together, there was a guy outside the cashier very polite and nice but the lady on the cashier 3 was extremely rude and cashier 4 very disrespectful. There are no excuses to be rude or disrespectful, I wasn't. You could see clearly they had no intention to be helpful, not willing to do any effort even if they could. First time I had this terrible experience in Ireland.

    Ndls citywest is a joke. I just wanted to change the address on my driver's license. I was on a Saturday 40 minutes to closing. A simple matter 2 photos change in the computer and that's it, but it was difficult for you. I will note that there were 3 windows and the one I went to was free. Great customer approach. . It was enough to spend 5 minutes of time and the opinion would be positive. It's hard to go anywhere else

    Couldn't be happier. Appointment for 9am to renew my driving licence. All done by 09:06. Efficiency at its best. Polite and friendly service.

    Omg ...the whole driving licence system is crazy. Make sure you have spare time to make phone calls, go online, make appointments that are weeks later!!! You need an appointment to go to the NDLS, you won't get an immediate one because " the appointment ts are fully booked" yet on 3 separate visits to the office there was no more the 3 or 4 people there in an entire hour. No walk- ins, no cash only debit or credit cards accepted....all because of " Covid" ??? The staff are friendly and efficient but take note if you don't have your eye test done and the process has been started at the counter, you can't nip out and get one done and come back. You get 10 days to get the eye test and send it to Shannon and only then wi your licence be sent out to you . Good luck.

I just wasted my time. (Original) Nie polecam. Nie miła obsługa, zamiast uzyskać pomoc i informacje zostałam wyproszona zanim zaczęło się moje umówione spotkanie bo Panu się już spieszylo do domu.     System allowed me to make an appointment when it shouldn't. May been caused by covid. Staff re made appointment. My only gripe is I had to attend twice. Otherwise it's an excellent service.

    Sticks to covid guidelines, my suggestion would be, dont arrive early, as you wont be allowed in, also the do not accept walk ins without appointments. Staff is friendly

    Personal experience on the counter was not good. Staff didn't know much information. My application delayed because of them . If they were told me on the first place what documents to required, so today my application weren't be delayed.

    This place is just a joke, fist I was instructed that i just pop in for quick update of my adress, there is no people awaiting in NDLS, 4 booths are wide open without any people waiting and Lady says that You must book SPECIAL "APOITMENT" by phone where closest date is 3 weeks away for updating one line of info where people are on site simply refusing to do anything!! I understand that governement system is a joke but this is getting to ridiculus level, service You give is below 1 star. Pathethic and Laughable... nothing else to add.

    My appointment was at 12h20. I arrived at 12h00. I was done at 12h20. The lady who attended me was nice and very professional. I really appreciated the quick service.

    Not a pleasant place at all. Extremely noisy, stuffy and unorganized. Staff screaming personal details all over the building which clearly breach data protection regulations. Elderly people can't hear a thing and therefore miss their allotted time. Thank God it's not a frequent place to be visited.

    It was pretty good when I was there to renew my license. Everything went very quickly, and the wait to be seen was very short. Staff were OK, the guy that served me was very nice. The office itself is in quite a poor state of repair - very dusty, equipment held together with masking tape (literally).

    I applied to exchange my EU full driving license for an Irish one. However, after I submitted my documents, I realized that I was not eligible to do so because I had previously exchanged my license from a country that has no agreement with Ireland. I called customer service to request the cancellation of my application, as I knew I could not proceed. I have been in touch with them for about 20 working days, but my application is still under review. I have explained that I have upcoming trips outside the EU and must have my passport and license on hand, but they have ignored my appeal. I am frustrated with their lack of response.

    Would put a minus if i could. Place is a joke. Staff dont know what they up to. All the proces from day one with the licence has been a nightmare. Not just yous but all the ndls,prometrick and rsa are stupidly radiculous. Get a diplpma before you sign up for a job like that. Better of doing wherehouse jobs that waisting peoples time,money and paciance. Hope i never have to deal with any of yous. Just to get the licence catd in my post box i had to visit them at least 8times and numerous phone calls... jokers not emlpyees

    A pleasant experience. The office is big and spacious which allows for plenty of room to be apart from other users in this covid time. I was in and out in about ten minutes and the girl on the desk was very nice. They take three photos of your head and give you the choice of the one that makes you happy. My new driving licence should be with me in about five days. A happy experience.
