I am a regular customer with a monthly membership at Omniplex. I must express my disappointment regarding the poor ventilation in the cinema halls. Last weekend, I went to watch "Oppenheimer" in the Max theater, scheduled for Saturday at 7:40 in the evening. It was a movie I was really looking forward to enjoying, but this experience was overshadowed by the lack of ventilation in the hall, leading to unbearable heat during the entire screening. The movie lasted for 3 hours, so I hope you understand the magnitude of the issue. As far as I know, several people complained during the screening, and the air conditioning was likely turned on, but it was not sufficient to alleviate the situation. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred; I also experienced discomfort during other showings like "Sunlight" and "Asteroid City." I sincerely hope that you can address this problem promptly. It would be greatly appreciated if you could find a solution, as it affects the overall movie-watching experience at Omniplex. If this matter is not resolved, I am seriously considering canceling my membership. I value the services provided by Omniplex, and I believe that addressing this ventilation issue will significantly improve the cinema experience for all your customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope to see a positive change soon.

Marks on the screen, snacks we brought were taken by employees, so much noise from the projector room, air conditioning, and maybe the screen adjacent to us that I couldn’t hear the movie at times. Staff also came in on two separate occasions to make sure people were in the correct seating??? On of them even took a photo which felt really weird. Only good thing is the value of the cinema pass, but if they keep up these standards I think I’ll stick to Netflix

The room was mental hot. Eventually had to go out and complain and then they turned on the aircon. Surely this should be automatic when there's a movie playing. Keep it at a nice 20C or something.

I've been seeing differents movies for months in this cinema. They've an awesome membership program. You pay 15 euros monthly and you can watch every movie once per month. The cinema is well located in Rathmines with some good options nearby to eat or drink pre/post the movie. The bathrooms are really clean even when it's a busy day. Queues are fast and everything is organized. The screens are big, the sound is great and the chairs are really comfortable with a plenty of space. The only downside was one room that had no hallway on one side and the chairs were literally in contact with the wall.

Very good place to watch movies

I had a very disappointing experience yesterday Saturday 19Th November. The cinema was extremely dirty. Pop corn on our seats . Floors sticky. Film started with full lights on . We had to notify staff to turn them off. Overall a very disappointing experience

So the Omniplex Rathmines has a pretty modern setup for ordering drinks and snacks. You go to a self service machine with a touch screen and order and pay via card and bring the receipt to the counter. The screens that I've been in so far had reclining chairs as standard with excellent cup holders.

This has been my main cinema for over 4 years now, my family and I go here very often for all the new blockbuster movies. It has a great MAXX screen and the seating is very comfortable. The prices are reasonable but the food could be cheaper. It is located in a great location right next to the main shopping centre for the area.

It was clean, quiet, shiny surfaces. However, we were fed confusing powerpoint-like visuals of film posters accompanied by the synopses of other movies and unrelated copyright free instrumental soundtracks. This was followed by general consumption ads and full volume motion picture trailers. Be mindful that movies start some 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Seats are comfortable and in good condition.

Seatings are far Better than cineworld. Clean and neat.. courteous staff as well! Loved the experience!

Seats and screen were great but they switched off the aircon half way through the film which turned the room into a sauna and covid hot spot.

It is lovely however the last 4 time i have been there, tere was an audio or visual problem. I had to walk out the theater an complain. However once the complaint was launched, it was back up and running in no time.

Nice cinema, we really enjoy the omnipass but it’s always too cold in the rooms. I’ll start bringing a beanie and a blanket 😂

Great experience for the €4 cinema day. Floor upstairs was a bit dirty but I'd say people are just careless with their popcorn. Staff very friendly.

I've always liked amd enjoyed the Rathmines Omniplex. However, during my viewing in screen 6 on Wednesday past it was painfully cold. If it weren't for my heavy coat, scarf, gloves and hat I would have needed to leave. My attire only staved off the freezing temperature to make it tolerable. Please remedy this 🙏 Looking forward to coming back.

Hi There it’s a nice complex and the young staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. However….. there was bits of popcorn all along the corridor which made the place look dirty. No loo paper in one of the cubicles and it was stuck in another one, so there were bits of paper on the floor. The place was very quiet and there were four staff waiting to show us where to go at the top of the stairs. Just wondering why someone couldnt have got a vacuum out or a brush to make the place look clean? Maybe a bit of guidance needed for the staff….and a bit of pride in the look of the place needed! Certainly when I was that age I had to have dirt pointed out to me as I just didn’t see it or think of cleaning it up. The movie an cailin cuan was lovely. 😭 Fiona

This is probably my favourite cinema around, not because it's amazing or anything but I have a lot of fond memories going there. Food is a bit overpriced, but that's no different in other cinemas

Decent cinema but price gouging. €3.60 for a 500ml bottle of water and popcorn wasn’t good - not quite stale but definitely not fresh. I noticed it was brought in giant plastic bags rather than made fresh in the cinema. Decent cinema in fairness but really gouging on the price unfortunately.

The tickets and food are reasonably priced. The seats are comfortable, and the leg room is good. Booking online is pretty straightforward, and the app generally works well. Nothing fancy, but a nice solid cinema experience.

Cold poor quality popcorn. No ice available for drinks. Which is ridiculous given the price point. Ordering food is not clear I ended up having to queue twice to order food. There was vomit in the toilets. Movie was great but overall poor quality experience from Omniplex. Would recommend going elsewhere.

Really like this cinema as my local, however it’s viewings are fairly limited and repetitive in comparison to other cinemas. One possibility is that you could play older and classic films to fill this void? I noticed it’s become a little dirtier also.

I had a lovely experience going here for the first time. We bought the tickets online and arrived just before the movie started but everything was very straightforward and very efficient. We didn't have to print or collect tickets, the staff directed us where to go and we wasted no time. I don't like being late for the movies so I really appreciate that it was so quick and easy to find the screen. Lovely staff, clean restrooms and no queue.

I enjoyed my experience at Omniplex and I will definitely be back. The facilities are clean, tickets are relatively cheap and it’s in an easy to get to spot with multiple bus stops nearby that go to many places. The food however is a little overpriced but all cinema food is to be honest. I would say that the Omnipass is a good deal I haven’t got it but if you go to see movies a lot I’d recommend. It’s a good spot for a day out because it’s beside lots of restaurants aswell like McDonalds, Eddie Rockets etc. I only took a star off because of the food price but because of how close it is to me I will be back.

Great cinema. Modern and clean with comfy seats. Difficult to buy snacks there because of an unclear click and collect system.

Great cinema, was there for the first time! The seats are spaced nicely height wise so if someone really tall sits I front of you they won't block your view. The seats also swing back a little bit so it's easy to let people pass you without standing up!

I love going to the cinema with a passion. This place is affordable and just a nice place to come. It's clean and a place you can come and relax and enjoy.

Probably one the best chain cinemas in Dublin. Very clean and well set up. Good deals on the food and drink. Plenty of toilets. Have been back and will be back again.

Really loved the movie, the screen and cinema seat were super comfy and the staff were friendly. Buying food and tickets was a bit of a joke though - different places for food, card, cash, collection, and nobody seemed to know where to go. Proper signage for customers would be ideal if you're changing how to buy things.

Place has gone to dogs. Had wrong name on door for film. Then the film was Meant to be 3D but screen was broken so everyone sat thru 45mins of them trying to fix it only to fail. Used to be great spot. Not anymore
