Zizzy: Tricky to Locate. Zizzy, a small restaurant located in Dundrum Town Centre, can be quite tricky to locate on Google maps. However, if you're familiar with the area, it's located right beside the popular Nando's restaurant. Once you arrive, you'll find that the food is decent, but not necessarily exceptional. Unfortunately, some dishes, such as the pasta, lacked seasoning and were notably lacking in salt. If you're in the mood for a refreshing drink, the strawberry mocktail may not be your best bet, as it didn't quite hit the mark. On top of this, our experience was slightly dampened by the waitress reading off a lengthy list of items that were unavailable from the menu. We happened to visit Zizzy on Irish Mother's Day, which may have contributed to the restaurant being busier than usual and potentially struggling to keep up with demand. Overall, while Zizzy may not have been our favourite dining experience, it's certainly worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat. Just be prepared to potentially encounter some minor hiccups along the way.

great food, great service- 3 courses for 30 euro is a steal. Only thing is the pulled pork pizza had practically no pulled pork on it- but still delicious

Always wanted to try this Italian restaurant and it didn't disappoint at all. Great diverse menu - covering vegetarian and vegan options too, in which everyone should find some starter, pasta, pizza, mains or salads. Quite a big range of desserts too. Restaurant atmosphere is welcoming, not too old fashioned, not too modern; just a great design that gives you enough to observe and invites to stay. Food has been amazing - definitely the best salad I had. Staff was super friendly, happy to accommodate any changes. Will be back and just realised there is one in town too ---- I am coming soon!

Delicious pizza & great for sharing! You only need one pizza, more than enough to share between two! Thin base & for 15 Eur, highly recommended budget food trip!!

I was a regular here and liffey valley, its been a bit simce i last had ordered something from here due to covid. Today i decided to get something good(3 cassarecia pollo picante) as we had in the the past and couldnt get enough of it. Unfortunately, the dish was ruined, very oily(instead of the creamy sauce which i was used to, it was plain oil) and no taste whatsoever. Spinach was bitter for whatever reason We did get 2 complementary pasta crisp(they were decent) Sorry guys, this time its a 2 stars( it wouldve been 1 if it wasnt for the pasta crisps)

Delicious food, great value and fabulous service!!! My friends and I went to Zizzi's, Jialimey and Julie were the kindest and most wonderful servers! They made us feel so comfortable and helped us make decisions on what to order as well as being so lovely to talk to! The food was gorgeous and the decor is to die for. Definitely will be returning. Honourable mention is the pizza - any toppings, the brownie dessert and the vanilla ice cream!!!

Good restaurant for pizza and pasta. A star deduction for the salty taste and not so clean toilet. Service was good and friendly. Portions were quite big so be careful to not over order. Takeaway boxes available.

Lovely staff! They are so kind and welcoming. I can’t seem to like the food. The garlic bread with mozzarella is super greasy. You need tons of paper napkin to wipe off the dripping oil from your fingers after each bite and the caramelised onion thingy is super sweet. The pizza is alright but we didn’t like the fresh uncooked cold huge chunks of tomato on a warm baked pizza. You take a bite of the pizza and the flavours are just not right. Cold n warm. Nope! The pasta was just alright.

3 stars because the service was ridiculously slow even though it was a random week evening when there was no one. Pizzas and garlic bread are nice and good portion.

A very upbeat yet traditional place which serves great food. Wide variety of pastas and mains to choose from. Sufficient vegetarian options. Lot of dessert options as well. Loved the Cassarecia pasta with the chicken breast. Anti paste options are good as well. Perfect for birthday outings or classic Italian dinner/lunch. Would definitely recommend it if you like to have authentic Italian with a twist of hip recipe. Cooler options are also very versatile.

I don't dish out 5 stars very often but I just had two. Ticked all the boxes and then some. Great, affordable food, a complimentary snack and friendly staff. Something I'm not used to seeing is a efficient, online ordering system which just simplifies everything. You can view your bill throughout the time and pay it online, with splitting options. I love it. I'm definitely coming back here

We had a good time and very really pleased by the amazing staff!Rarely have we been treated so kindly! The people who work there make the place and give it a very good vibe and atmosphere!Sadly the food didn’t really match our expectations - my pasta was wildly overcooked and had almost no taste! But thanks again to the kind people working there!

Went here twice now and i have celiac which is always difficult going to restaurants with . Straight away the second we were getting seated they asked if we had any dietary requirements and i told them i was celiac. They came back straight away with an ipad with all the gluten free options on and a little glass bottle that said “allergen table” on . Although some people mightn’t like the idea of it being aired to the world that they have an allergen i think there’s only positives , because everyone else that comes to your table 100% knows. I got a vegan mozzarella gluten free pizza and was very satisfied. It was decent time wise however the bill took a while but it was very busy so not a problem. Overall positive experience.

Three courses for 28.95 euros offer excellent value for money. The service and ambiance are both commendable. Meat Sofia Pizza was a delight! Calamari: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. finishing the meal with tiramisu.

I had been here for dinner with a friend. The experience during a weekend was really nice. Drinks: Passion Fruitiny (vodka based) cocktail. It was really refreshing and light! 9.5/10 Starters: calamari. The quantity was a bit underwhelming but was great. Main course: Crab and pesto Risotto. 10/10. The dish was just amazing! Chilli Crab and Basil Pasta. 7.5/10. The flavour was great, I just didn’t enjoy the pasta. Dessert: lemon tart. 9/10. Loved the texture and tangy lemony flavour! Would recommend Zizzi for sure :)

Great vegan menu. Amazing meatless balls, vegan rainbow lasagna and rustica pizza. Nice and cozy atmosphere. The staff is extremely attentious particularly Luiza, she made sure we had an special evening eating out. Thank you so much for that.

Food (including the dessert) was surprisingly good for a chain restaurant, but the service was a bit slow. You might need to actively call a waiter. :)

Absolutely loved dining at this restaurant for dinner a few days ago. My mom is gluten free and they had a special binder containing all allergy information. And I am vegetarian, the menu has an abundance of vegetarian and vegan options in addition to their regular menu. Enjoyed sampling a pineapple cocktail and slice of dessert as well. I can see why they are busy aside from a convenient location in Dublin and accommodating waiters. The dining experience was filed with natural based ingredients, in comparison to places with greasy overpriced bar food. The environment is more rustic in a charming contemporary manner with both booth/table seating near the upper bar. More of a modern design than traditional Irish dining style for those who want a variety of options that’s not a pub. A great establishment whether you’re enjoying a brunch with colleagues or dinner on a date.

The best Zizzi restaurant, better than the Dublin city center. Staff are amazing, super friendly and aware of the menu. Moreover, the quality and flavour of the food are amazing with impeccable dishes and very fresh ingredients. Went with partner one day from Dublin and bring over 2 friends next weekend. All of us were delighted and for me as vegan l was impressed with the very tasty vegan options, even tried same dish in the Dublin Zizzi. I highly recommend!

Zizzi never disappoints. Great place, rustic pizza is all time favourite. Even though we arrived quite late we felt so welcomed by the manager and he went all the extra miles for us throughout our dinner. Thank you🙂

Nice staff, great Pizza. You can order via phone or through one of the servers which I liked. They have a good menu with lots of choice for all ages. World come again

The man who greeted us lacked in warmth and friendliness when we arrived and especially when we left as he whimpered a "bye". The food itself was plain and awful! We got the garlic breads for starters which were dry and unappealing taste-wise. Then for mains we got the Sofia pizzas which were like oven-cooked pizzas from the supermarket except worse as they were not tasty at all. And finally, we ordered the chocolate biscuit cheesecake although the waiter told us that there wasn't any as we were waiting which was bad and then brought us the salted caramel cheesecake which again was supermarket standard at best but worse with its crunchless base and the cheap tasting flavorless cream and cheese topping. The service was quick but the waiters had a severe lack of friendliness and etiquette especially when they just dumped the food on the table without saying anything or when the waiter aggressively told us about how we should review the place as it only takes 10 seconds. All in all a terrible Italian restaurant and one to absolutely avoid at all costs if you care about where your hard-earned money goes!

Food is amazing! Value of the set menu is great for the amount of food you actually receive! Cocktails are unreal too (I’d personally recommended the “Ciao Bella”)! Staff are great craic and so friendly, we were dealing with Aimee who was so accommodating and lovely!! Would definitely recommend!
