Live music bar Irish pub

👍👍 Dropped in last Saturday to watch the Liverpool game while my better half went shopping. A lot of people were ordering food which looked great and was really well presented. The atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly and to top it off a pint of Guinness was only €6, just of Grafton Street!! Exce... Dropped in last Saturday to watch the Liverpool game while my better half went shopping. A lot of people were ordering food which looked great and was really well presented. The atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly and to top it off a pint of Guinness was only €6, just of Grafton Street!! Excellent value and highly recommended.

Everything I expected an Irish bar to be,a great pint of guiness,an Irish barman, bit of music in the background and horse racing on the TV...glad we nipped in for one whilst navigating Dublin.

Hello from AZ. Came here with friends of our tour group. Great energy. Not a whole lot of room, but just enough. Some tables in the far back. Loved the live music and definitely has the more traditional pub vibe. They close earlier than other places, shared to me by a local. We had a wonderful time here.

Food was great, music was great, beer was great. We went mostly to grab a bite at ~8pm on a Friday. Were able to get a table upstairs, which was perfect for us. Downstairs was bustling. I really like chicken tenders (weird, maybe, for an adult) and the ones I had here were top 5 in my life. Unexpected 😊 I wish it hadn't been our last night in Dublin, we'd go back.

Live music every day. Very friendly crowd. More tourists than locals but still lively. Fast service. Cold beer. Live music. Watched Liverpool with the WIN. Convenient and walkable from most anywhere in downtown.

Best live music in town...live singer Wagner-Villam was awsome...i hope the owner pays him enough for the evening and for the effort (3h nonstop playing & singing). Great atmosphere, service staff super nice. Dont forget to tip the performer & staff...Guiness approx. €6,7/€6,8...Cosy traditional atmoshere Thanx for your hospitality

Owner was outside the bar and was extremely hostile to 2 couples trying to enter. We were insulted and threatened when we tried to enter although the other half of our party was already in the bar. It was a horrible experience and we'll never attempt to go to this bar again

As bog standard a pub can be in Central Dublin. No complaints but nothing remarkable. Very Ronseal, for those who are old enough to get the reference.

Perfect setting for a traditional Irish pub experience. Great live music, lots of patron sing along music, and diverse crowd of young and old. Was a highlight visit during our time in Dublin.

Busy Friday after work. Had a few pints with work colleagues. Atmosphere was lovely, pints were quick One of the best things about the pints here, is they taste perfect. By this, I mean I can tell that they clean their lines frequently while changing their kegs - yes, you can taste the difference! A few pubs (I won't name them) may take the occasional shortcut, but not here. This isn't my first time here! Loved this place already from when we used to live in Dublin. Will be back again! Cheers!

My partner and I both got Irish breakfasts, I got the mini one and he got the breakfast bap. It looked super appealing and nicely plated up. Staff were attentive and lovely. Would recommend for a bit to eat, however it mightnt be everyone’s taste to have “pub-grub”

No Kilkenny for sale knocked this place off my 5 star recommendations. There was no music the night we went in over Christmas. Normally they have someone jammy in the alcove of the front window which is great. Bring back some delicious Kilkenny Master O'Donoghue and we shall return with splendid tales and magical illusions!

Went there for breakfast. Barman was a bit careless and gave me lukewarm tea with a coating of limescale floating on top. Breakfast came 20mins later! Toilets were rotten and stairs leading down to them was grubby and dirty. Guinness wasn't great either sadly. 😕 it has the makings of a great pub but needs a clean up.

I love this bar, we came here for our 1st date 12 years ago and we continue to come back regularly.. small quaint pub with a great old Irish atmosphere 👌 the food is simply divine.. some might say its too small a place, but to that I would say, learn to appreciate your surroundings 🥰

Popped in for a traditional Irish Breakfast! Ordered the full and everything was really tasty! Throughly enjoyed our meals! The pub has a great atmosphere and a wide selection of beers both draft and bottled. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Traditional Pub with a great variety of offerings. The Pub is not - as many other "Guinness-focused", you have a choice here. Service was quick and the food (fish&chips) really good. Go here - you will not be disappointed.

I had researched this place before I came I'm a tourist. I wanted a proper Irish experience so sat here all day for live music at half nine as stated online and in the bar. The man we encountered during the day was lovely friendly and efficient the night staff were too but unfourtunatly no live music as stated for some reason so our whole day of drinking Eatin there was a waste of time we went two minutes along the road to O'Neills and got the experience we were after

I used to work in Dublin City Centre and so too did my friends. We would meet up after work and sit in at the window of O'Donoghues (we used to call it 'The Office' so if anyone was looking for us, we were in the office). I could watch my bus roll up to the stop outside, neck my Guinness and leave. We've had darts nights there, dj upstairs on one occasion but the place never fails. Full of character on both sides of the bar, the taps are filled with your favorites served best on wet days when you need shelter from the rain. Looking forward to my next Guinness there 👌
