Just came in for lunch after the sales. I ordered the slow cooker beef cheek, with mustard mash, roasted carrots and pearl onion jus. It was absolutely beautiful, the beef was tender, food seasoned perfectly and a very generous portion. The lucaffe coffee was also very nice. The coke serving was 330ml instead of the normal 200ml pub size. Warm, nice background music and strict covid protocols in place. Very friendly and efficient staff. Well done

Very elegant former banking hall which is now a fabulous grown ups venue serving cocktails, Guinness (other alcoholic beverages are available for the uninitiated) and a very tasty food menu. The staff were brilliant with our party of 12 and service was swift and easy. Most of us went for the obligatory pint of Guinness and a bowl of succulent Irish Lamb Stew. Good sized portions and succulent melt in the mouth lamb was an absolute delight. We enjoyed the vibe so much we went back later in the evening to finish the night with a couple of espresso martinis (sophisticated bevvy sesh indeed) Great venue, I highly recommend it to all.

Central by name and Central by location! Located on O’Connell Street the opulence of the bar is explained as it is established in a former bank premises. If you go down stairs you can still see the bank safes interred in the walls. Worth a visit and the pint of Guinness is of a high standard.

Nice restaurant for pub food. We ordered nachos and fried brie for starters. The brie was delicious! For main, we had burger and fish and chips. Both were tasty. Service was also good but the kitchen closes super early, at 8pm, and the waitress did not let us know about that in advance. We only found this out when we asked for desserts!

EXCELLENT fish and chips. Both parts well prepared and tasty. Portion more reasonable than most. We were there on Dublin vs Kerry match so *wickedly noisy*

I've never been inside here before even though I've passed it hundreds of times. It's lovely. The barman was very welcoming and all staff were extremely attentive and friendly. They serve food also, although we didn't eat this time but definitely planning a return visit for a nice lunch. They have TVs for sports also. Would highly recommend

What a casually classy spot. The place was busy (always a good indicator) We both had a turkey & ham vol u vant and I have to say it was the tastiest ever. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The mash gorgeous too. Also have to say the staff are very professional, friendly and attentative. There's a great cocktail menu here featuring many of the classics. I like the lay out of the place too. Ideal for parties. The decor is fabulous. Highly recommend coming here.

Delicious lunch! I had the beetroot salad which was yummy and my son enjoyed the seafood chowder which he loved! A lively pub near the GPO museum and a drop off area for many tours that end around dinner time. Beautiful ceiling as you enter too. Get an Irish Coffee!

The interior of this premises alone would make a visit here worthwhile. This is an old banking hall converted to a bar and grill. The food here was lovely and very reasonably priced. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a white light on your table, which, when you turn it upside down turns into a red light and let's the staff know you are ready to order....simple but effective. A most pleasant experience.

Perfect location on O'Connell. Sat down 10 min before lunch prices ended but they were slow and insisted I needed to order from the evening menu. Server was slow, uncertain of stuff and quite unclear. When my food came, missing dip it took forever to get her attention and three people needed to be involved in getting my missing part of my full price dish... It was all good and the atmosphere otherwise is amazing!

Their stew tasted very delicious, and was very sweet, however the burger had no taste, even salt couldn't save it. I'd recommend the stew if anyone is going here, the food and service is quick.

A cozy bar restaurant. A place to choose when you want to take a good breath, a cuppa tea and a nice chat. Very deli Bayley's cheesecake. Our waiter Ms. Marianne was very helpful. We'll return for sure

Fantastic building... A proper use for an old bank. We had a couple of decent pints of Guinness in the early evening and it was remarkably un-busy. Not sure if that's usual or just time of the week.

A nice place Decor wise but service very slow we ordered at 5:05 and its now nearly 30 mins later and all we ordered was chicken wings and a kids meal so nothing major I asked for 2 other dishes before I placed my order and was told they were not available. It's not really that busy so I'm not sure what the wait is? There is only 2 other tables in the bar area with food so like I said not sure?. Also my child's Dinner came out with chips and fish Goujons instead of the mash potato and chicken that we ordered I explained this to the waitress and she said maybe the chef got it wrong now come on in fairness. I have to say I don't think I will be in a hurry back. Sad really because it looked like such a nice looking place

Been going here for years. However the menu lately not what is used to be. More options definitely needed again. Food is beautiful and not badly priced. Cocktails are lovely. The management could do with being up to scratch on goings on in surrounding areas like 3 arena and bord gais. We were told 45 mins in advance one evening because no one knew there was a show and there wasntvenough staff- that's fair. We were left waiting well over an hour and literally had to gulp our food down to make the show. Could we have gone elsewhere? Yes but we like the food here. Won't stop me going back just maybe not if I'm in town to go to a show afters.

Great spot especially when going to the 3arena. However on Tuesday, the place was well packed and drinks n food took forever. Short staffed perhaps? But the toilets. Lordy they need some help. The smell of pi** as you walk down the stairs is breath taking. Unpleasant to say the least 🤢

Ahhh lads here . Everything was crossed off the menu . When we finally got served it was an undercooked ham and cheese toastie .. wasn't expensive But I got tea and a dirty cup 😶 gin glasses could do with extra rinse aid And a wash . A bit disappointed tbh

A warm welcome awaits you in this impressive building! A lovely server too. Unfortunately on sitting down to eat the tables were a little dirty probably due to short staff. I ordered the Oriental stir fry which promised wok fried Asian vegetables, however it did not deliver. It was only peppers ( big chunks) and red onion ( big chunks) and chicken and rice ( the chicken is an extra €3! However the scampi my husband ordered he enjoyed. Well worth a visit all in all.

Food was quite good and the staff was very nice. However they were very slow and we had to wake up different times to the bar to go to ask for drinks. Anyway, it is a very beautiful place and it is definitely worth the visit 😁

Had lunch with my son and daughter yesterday the 22nd of Aug, staff very friendly and our meals were all lovely. We had sat in the back area close to the kitchen were a manager or possibly the owner approached kitchen staff to complain about the way they sent out a particular meal, and while i know they want food sent out properly the way he spoke to the staff member was an absolute disgrace it was very embarrassing for us and the staff, so maybe he should check himself first, his professionalism needs working on

I can’t provide an in-depth review, but we did have a pint here. The space was incredible. Very ornate and grand. So many design details to look at. As they say, they don’t make spaces like this anymore. Service staff was attentive and friendly. Seemed to be a in a bustling location close to many iconic Dublin attractions.

Best thing about Grand Central was the very friendly and genuine staff. The food and drink are fine but what sets it apart from other places is the staff. Keep up the great work👍Really 4.5 out of 5.

Our server Igor was outstanding, his knowledge of the menu was second to none. We had the pulled pork baps and it was honestly outstanding. Can't wait to come back. Thanks to Igor and all the staff!! As it happens, we've come back this week, the place was hopping and seating was at a premium. Low and behold Igor saw us and made sure we got the first seat that became available, our drinks and food were superb again, thanks also to Bianca and Andrea for making it a pleasureable experience.

Iconic bar in Dublin. Great drinks and easy access to the Wynn’s Hotel. Menu is focused, but everything you would want is there. Atmosphere is first rate. The restaurant is in the back, bar is adjacent and connected. Table service available in restaurant.
