Reviews were very good and I won't disagree here: honest pub, superb Guinness, friendly and helpful staff. Worth seeking out as an effective antidote to "vanilla Irish pubs"

Lovely small pub with great Guinness on Marlborough Street. Nice, quiet spot for a pint and a chat. Hasn't changed a bit since in years, but that's part of its charm!

A twinkling gem in Dublin city center. The decor gives a warm feeling that is matched by the warm welcome from the friendliest bar staff in town. A throwback to times gone by this is an authentic Dublin bar where there's always a bit of craic.

Class public house in the City, homely atmosphere and plenty of banter with the bar staff, locals and visitors, pints are not bad either but what would you expect with Donegal influences!!

One of the cosiest, atmospheric and welcoming vibes I’ve ever felt in a pub in Dublin. And the Guinness is top craic too!

We popped in to catch the Rugby game. Briody's Pub seemed to be an older crowd and maybe a local hangout for the betting kind. We stayed for the first half of the game, enjoyed a Guinness and a Heineken! The bartenders were nice and helpful. The pub was clean and had lots of seats for a small place. The TVs were very small and old. For more recommendations and tips from our Ireland trip... Follow @vanmblin

If you fancy a good pint of gunnies at some affordable price this is your place. It has quite very old sittings but alcohol is quite good just to let you know there isn’t any food option but the vibe is great in any match day. The staff and the owner is very ground to earth which is quite difficult to find in that area. Overall good experience and worth it.

Off the beaten track, which for me is a positive, and yet parallel to O'Connell Street, this pub serves up a great pint of Guinness in a very friendly, and authentic, Dublin pub. Wanna experience Dublin? Forget Temple Bar and come here!

Just as ideal as it gets. Perfect pints. Rare to find a local pub in a city full of bars and coffee shops, where you're served by the owner who wants to chat. 10/10

Great no nonsense Dublin pub, a two minute walk from the Spire in O'Connell street. Great pints of Guinness and a good basic lunch menu at very reasonable prices. The scampi, cottage pie and chicken goujouns were all freshly cooked and tasty. Very friendly service. This is a small pub, much more likely to be frequented by locals rather than tourists. If you are a tourist, this will give you a sense of what a typical local Dublin pub is really like.

Quintessential traditional Dublin pub designed for the consumption of good drink in convivial company. Its wonderful interior, good staff and the absence of unnecessary loud musical backtrack, make it a perfect choice to experience what was once the norm in Dublin pubs but which is now all too rare.
