👍👍 The absolutely best pub in all of Dublin. First, the staff is amazing. This truly is a family run business and they put their hearts into it. But as great as the staff is, the patrons are amazing. In the three days we spent here, we met some of the nicest and most giving people (you know who you are... The absolutely best pub in all of Dublin. First, the staff is amazing. This truly is a family run business and they put their hearts into it. But as great as the staff is, the patrons are amazing. In the three days we spent here, we met some of the nicest and most giving people (you know who you are) anywhere. You can’t help but feel like family and know you have a place to go anytime you’re in Dublin.

It surprises (and somewhat delights) me when folks walk by The Dame to the Stags Head. They're both excellent, but the Dame is a locals pub that retains the warmth, camaraderie, and slight edge that is a working class pub in central Dublin. It's authentic without trying to be. Great pints, good music and enjoyable atmosphere. I was tempted not to review it just to keep it for myself, but meh. If you'd like to experience a real busy Dunlin pub, visit the Dame.

Amazing staff! Came her on a school trip with my friends. The staff is great especially Brandon who we met in the pub, so sad that we didn't get to say goodbye. It's a small pub, so don't come in peak hours. The guest are really friendly, from my experince. 10/10

Two of my friends and I were recently in Dublin for the first time and this was by far our favorite pub. Great live music, fun atmosphere, and plenty of baby Guinness shots! We also met some awesome locals there. Highly recommend!

I can’t enjoy it, so rude stuff and they ruined my tourist visit in dublin. We heard a lot of things that irish people is so friendly but here I met only mean people. I went to JT pim’s and it’s so much better. So if you are in dublin you should choose JT Pim’s

One of the best Irish pubs we encountered in Dublin. Free life music. A lot of locals and an authentic less touristic atmosphere. The bouncer kept youngsters out and there was no drunken people even though it was a busy weekend night. Good selection of drinks and beers, food we did not try.

Stopped here as the first pub we went to when we arrived in Dublin. Excellent first choice! The barman was friendly and Guinness was spot on. Nice to see locals in a temple bar pub too.

Solid pub. Came in and we’re served right away on a Friday night. Cannot complain. Lots of Irish folks which I prefer vs the tourist spots.

Excellent little pub that offers a very warm welcome to patrons. A mix of tourists and locals frequenting this pub for a pint and a chat.

Fantastic bar, Guinness and music, locals made us very welcome, big up to "Phelan" (apologies if I've mispelt the name) and "Ger", great evening spent talking to these two lads 👍👍🇨🇮

My home away from home. Great mix of people. From locals to tourists. Colm & Pat make everyone feel welcome & love to engage in the banter. All their staff are the same.

Was last in here 15 years ago, was reassured to find nothing had changed. Always trust a city centre pub that's full of actual Irish people. I think this place is still family owned and it shows as the welcome is warm and it in no way feels plastic. I saw lots of people walk in and out because it was so busy, you missed out.

Great pub, that’s a pity they only served a cheeseboard to eat! We probably arrived at peak hour, but I would have preferred fewer people indoors. In the pic: The box on the table in the background is the cheeseboard, with some cheese, olives, onions, a couple of sauces and prosciutto, each one precisely enveloped.

The Dame Tavern hosted a surprise 40th for my partner... we had 50 people in the private room upstairs.. with one outstanding bartender, friends did the music and the sound was great and the room was just perfect to host an unforgettable night for a special group of friends. Wish we could go back to that night..so much fun.

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets. If you find the ground floor queues start to grow, just go upstairs for smaller queues. There's great sound and visi...
