Good for location if you're wanting to explore Temple Bar. The rooms are really small and not like the photos, you can barely move in the bathroom and the beds are very uncomfortable to sleep on. The walls are very thin so you hear everything inside and outside especially since all the doors slam. The fire alarms gets set off at ridiculous times with no apologies. Room wasn't clean when we checked in, the bed had hairs on it and the bathroom floor was covered in clumps of hair and soap. They also ask for a 50 euro deposit on check in which we weren't informed off beforehand and the website doesn't say anything about it.

Do not stay here! The rooms are so small you cannot even walk around. There is absolutely no where to put your luggage at all. No towel bars, no storage for toiletries in the bathroom, the shower is too small and there are no shelves. Only one night table, and there are NO WINDOWS! There’s a skylight, that vents the overly hot room, but, if you’re trying to sleep before 3am, forget about it. I could only sleep because I was so jet lagged. The sink in the bathroom is impossible to use, you’ll end up with water all over the floor. The photos online are totally fake and misleading. No elevator too - expect to carry your luggage 4 flights to get to the first set of rooms on the second floor. Carpets are dirty and old, nothing is good about this place. Feeling completely ripped off.

Friendly staff on the reception desk, but the pleasant experience ends shortly after that. The room is absolutely tiny - it barely fits the bed and you have to awkwardly shuffle along the bottom and side of it. Not really even anywhere to get changed. The shower room again is miniscule and the towel rail hangs over the sink. Somehow the shower water - while hot and high pressure - stank of stałe cigarette smoke. I booked in for two nights and left after one.

Excellent location . Couldn't be more central. This in turn for some might also be a negative . Temple bar being the busiest place in Dublin ,it can get super loud. I would suggest if you're not up for any noise then to avoid this hotel and temple bar hotels completely otherwise this is a great place to stay. Hotel wise it's good . I've rated 4/5 factoring in location and hotel. The hotel is clean. Well equipped . Coffee machine with coffee pods. Plenty of cushions ,towels huge TV . Etc The negatives would be the size of rooms . The one I had really only housed one person which was fine for me .but two might be a squeeze . Otherwise great hotel.

Overall: A very bad experience! The pros: Perfect location, right in the middle of Temple Bar. Friendly staff. The room was okay: modern style, comfy bed, clean, big telly, coffee/tee maker, table and chair. But then... This used to be a hostel. They're changing it to a hotel right now. The second floor is already renovated. There were heavy construction works going on on the first floor that woke me up. Partially the place looks like it is a construction site: "Wet paint" signs everywhere. The water pressure in the shower was low, sometimes they TURNED THE WATER OFF. There's no lobby, no breakfast, not even a breakfast room. The signs on the front still say "Hostel". For the price I paid I could've gotten a four star hotel nearby, but this was more of a hostel experience.

Great location, in the heart of the biz, undergoing a big refurbishment but only stayed one night so no impact. Beds comfy, only down side was the rooms were roasting, thankfully we had 2 fans provided

Room was very small, but ultimately it did the job. Air conditioning was mandatory in our room due to the size and lack of windows. Amazing shower. Rough area in early morning (06:00), be wary.

We stayed at the temple bar lane recently and had an experience that left a lot to be desired... The receptionist gave us the wrong key at the start, seemed to hate his job and wasn't keen on helping us out! We woke up that night to someone else coming into our room at 9am only to find out it was another guest not a staff member. Hopefully our receptionist will find a job he likes soon..

The room is small but it was comfortable. Centrally located with great places to eat near by. Everything is walking distance.

I do not recommend. The only plus is a good location in the city center. A small double room, in the attic, where you could hear everything, from seagulls to a party in the street. Bathroom very small. The hallways and rooms could do with a renovation and carpet change. We paid 600€ for one night. No breakfast, no bathrobes, extra towels, blankets. The rooms look completely different from the pictures. Nice service. The rooms look completely different from the pictures.

Great place to stay for the full Temple Bar experience; right in the thick of it. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, a few squeaky doors around, but clean and a decent value for the location. We would stay there again.

Do not stay at this hotel. This was the last leg of our 17 day trip through Scotland and Ireland. We were so hoping to spend our last 2 days in a nice place. The pictures online are sooooo false and misleading! The shower had black mold all over the ceiling! The window latch was broken so we got to listen to the bar right outside our room all night. The alarm kept going off while we were trying to sleep. I contacted them and got a "we will get back to you" and they never got back to me. Do not be fooled by the website. This is a hostel, not a hotel. Or "Inn". They charged me $300 a night and if the "hotel" had of been nice I would not have minded at all because the location is awesome. Again, this is a hostel!! Don't book here or know thats the environment you'll be staying in!

Stayed two nights. Staff was nice. People were very loud in the hallways late at night waking me up each night. The rooms are small but as long as you aren’t obese it will be fine. Just no sound isolation from the outside or hallways.

Clean and cute rooms, well warmed, you hear no sounds from the street also being so centric. The excellent position near to the most famous pubs of the city and a very nice welcome from the staff complete the experience. Highly recommended

Possibly the smallest room I've ever stayed in . The bathroom is tiny tiny, the shower door will be too small if you are taller or broader. The shower itself was (surprisingly) good - dinnerplate with good pressure. The building itself needs painting and decor to make it less prison cubicle style. The huge plus it has is location, it's as central as it gets. If it didn't have this , it wouldn't rate a star . Comfortable bed. Small things in the corridors and stairs would improve the feel of this place a lot - paint , new carpet. Use less pungent bleach also as the building is pervaded by it.

Location is great. Hotel was £170 per night, this you can get a 4 star in central London. Rooms were incredibly small and rooms are not cleaned or replenished . Overpriced and poor service. They are rinsing customers.

For starters this hotel is extremely hard to find. Then the parking garage is at least 2 blocks away so it’s a long walk with your luggage. Ok if you’re in good shape and don’t have a lot to carry. There is no elevator. It is dark and dingy. The fire alarm went off at about 11 pm for seemingly no reason. Everything was ridiculously small. I won’t complain about the noise because I knew it was next door to Temple Bar, but even with ear plugs you feel like you’re in the bar. There was a hostel down the street that would have been much cheaper and probably nicer.

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. The way this hotel handles bookings and customer service is absolutely disgusting. I had originally booked for October this year, the booking was made weeks ago. The hotel have now decided that they have over booked themselves and told me they would be cancelling the booking with no solution offered. Their idea of an alternative was to offer us to move to their sister hotel which is a 16 minute walk away. No offer of money for compensation for the extra cost of taxis it would cost us to travel back into the area we actually wanted to stay in. One of the guests cannot walk far or for lengths of time and we had picked this hotel for the location, to think offering us a hotel nearly 20 minutes walk away is a solution is disgusting. Further to that, they cancelled the booking without even finishing communication with us and checking we were happy with the solution. We are not. Customer service absolutely disgusting and I am shocked they think it is acceptable to cancel a booking without even speaking to the customer properly about the situation WHEN IT IS THEIR MISTAKE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Stayed here with 3 friends for the Garth Brooks Concert. Hugely recommend! It was a fantastic stay, clean, friendly and great location. I know they have recently changed owners and have made significant improvements, as was nervous when I read previous reviews. Thank you Ananda you were the perfect host!! We’ll be back. Michelle xx

Location can’t get any better and staff are friendly and helpful. Besides that, the hotel is a 2 stars hotel with 5 star pricing. Property is old and run down, no elevator and dirty carpet. Rooms are tiny with no place to set things. Showers don’t have toiletry holders . Bathroom floors should have a drain and bathroom sink is small and covered by a glass that makes it hard to access. No air conditioner and prepare to hear the noise of the neighborhood.

This place should be a hard NO on all reviews. We have been traveling for a month and this is BY FAR THE WORST place we have stayed. I could have given it two stars simply for the location but it was too gross. If you want to be in the heart of Temple Bar then this is a last resort place if you can’t find another. But you will pay 200E+ for a tiny, smelly loud room. Honestly, I made a mistake in the booking as I was going for another hotel with a similar name (be careful, there is a temple bar inn (which I thought I was booking) and a temple bar hotel which also looks nice) but unfortunately booked this one. First, the lobby is tiny and smells. After checking in you enter a dank stairway that smelled like urine and was full of garbage (see picts). After climbing 4 flights to get to the second floor (I don’t think there is a lift, at least we weren’t told of one and did t see one) we entered our Lego sized room. We booked for three people and literally only one person could move around the room at a time while tripping over bags. The others had to sit in the beds to stay out of the way. There is one old chair that doesn’t fit anywhere. The bed spreads and curtains are ancient and the bathroom sink is the size of a kindle. Good luck brushing your teeth let alone washing your face. Also, bizarrely, though it was a cool breezy evening in Dublin, this room hot hot, thick and sticky. We opened the window (only opens a small bit, and propped the door open to try to get some breeze but it didn’t work. We slept with a loud fan on a chair to get some relief.) I have stayed in motels all over the world and I can honestly say this was one of the worst in terms of price to quality ratio. 200 euro a night for this place in unconscionable. If you want to spend a night or two in temple bar and need an easy location to stumble back to after a night of pints, then this will do. But don’t expect anything nice. (Oh, one other thing, we only interacted with staff a very short time, they seemed friendly and helpful. Props to them at least!)

Rooms are too small, the pictures online don't even accurately represent that quality of the rooms. The bathroom was large enough to stand in but not much else. The bed alone was pushing too small of two people for a double room. Air con is non existent/very old and broken so if you come in the summer avoid this place at all costs.

Had a great stay here! Nice new rooms with comfy beds located right in the middle of temple bar! There is no elevator so if you travel like me and pack everything it's a bit of a pain getting your bag to the top floor! Still though the climb was worth it. We even ended up booking another night's stay on the way home :)

Booked a triple room for 3 single female adults, was given a double bed and a single. When asked at reception they told us it was “subject to availability” no apology no offer to move room. The rooms are tiny. You can’t even get undressed in the bathroom. The sink is tiny and the rooms are cold and noisy as so close to the centre. On the last day of our stay the checkout time was 12pm, we were just rushing around to pack everything as we woke up late at 11:55, only to be hounded by the reception ringing the bedroom phone. Then we received a knock on the door, confronted by a very rude stuck up receptionist who said that we were rude for not answering the phone, I said “we were rushing around to get ready” and she said “well funny that cause I’m rushing around trying to sort the fire alarm you set off last night” now.. none of my friends nor me smoke... and nor did the fire alarm go off. So as we left the hotel at 12.22 so 22 minutes after check out time, the woman said “I’ll charge your card for the late checkout and for setting off the fire alarm” the hotel claims to offer a baggage hold service, which I asked for upon checking out and the other receptionist responded with “no you can’t”. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Rude, unhelpful and disgusting service from the staff. Would have given 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The bed was okay but shower was too small. I kept banging my elbows in the shower every time I moved. I've stayed in hotels from the Marlin, Stauntons on the green, Grafton Hotel and budget places like Celtic Lodge Guest House and Dublin Citi Hotel. This was probably one I won't be going back to. Also, they have a silly rule that says you can't have guests. They should have put this rule on the booking page as I wouldn't have booked the place if I had known. It felt like I died and woke up in boarding school with evil matron. TBF, they did let my friend in for a bit but still, we're grown ups in the Temple Bar of all parts of Ireland.

I would have given 5 stars (great location, decent room for a 2 stars hotel) however they asked to pay a 50euros cash deposit even if you prepaid your room. There's no mention neither to the confirmation emails nor to the website regarding this strange policy.

Location of the hotel was perfect - right next to the main temple bar . Room was small for 4 x people , we were given dirty pillows (they were yellow), room was clearly under renovation, no mini fridge provided . We was given 4 x room key’s none of them worked , at 3 in the morning trying to get into the room was a nightmare this is was not ideal. Hotel staff was not co operative.
