Great hotel, but a bit quirky. Won't suit all travelers. Location wise it is brilliant - right in the heart of Dublin. BUT 1. It is right next to all the night life, so it can be noisy at night. They do provide earplugs as standard in the bathroom. 2. There isn't a regular elevator. So if climbing stairs is not an option for you, this might not be for you. There is a service elevator for luggage. Reception is on the 1st floor, not ground floor. Then you get room number 200 and 400 series and the spa. Then rooms 400, then rooms 300 series at the top. I did say it was a bit quirky... The rooms in the 300 series at the top where I was were quieter. Room was as per the picture. Very spacious and comfortable. There is a 'breakfast', but you're better off walking to one of the many cafes for breakfast. They provide a Nespresso machine, which is great.

Power shower was so good! Staff extremely welcoming. Would definitely stay here again although will ask for a quieter room. Free coffee and water at the reception was really nice touch. Loved the decor and the breakfast room with the bewleys style chairs. We had a lovely stay!

Hi I have had a very bad experience with the spa in this hotel . They won’t return my emails my daughter is a nurse and had a spa booking for the Saturday after Dublin went to level 3. She tried to cancel but no calls answered she could not travel to Dublin but has just been told she lost her voucher very disappointed and being ignored is showing terrible customer service. We have been advised to take this to small claims court and did not want to do this. All we want to do is rebook extremely disappointed. Regards Lorraine

We stayed for 2 nights at the Junior suite and everything was smooth. The hotel is small but is just right in city center with a walking distance to many attractions and tourist spots . I imagine people will complain about the stairs but you'll understand the reason when you get to see the building, I don't think many alterations are possible (or allowed). The room was perfect in size and nicely decorated. I put 4 stars as there were minor details that can be improved: the lighting in the rooms can be much better, the bathtub is nice but very inefficient when you only want to take a shower, the breakfast is limited in options and be aware that you are in a very busy area (is great for going out) as it can be really loud at night

Very charming rooms of a good size, and the beds are comfy. We got both a coffee maker and a tea kettle, which is nice. Bathroom was a good size as well, water was hot and the water pressure was beyond anything I've experienced in a hotel. However the breakfast is very basic, and you may experience some party noises from the bar downstairs.

Our room was large and bright. A very central location. Ear plugs are provided for good reason as it is surrounded by some of Dublin’s largest and busiest bars. Make sure you are able to walk up several flights of stairs - the lift is not a convenient option. The fourth floor is lower than the third floor!

My girlfriend booked this hotel for two nights for my birthday, they were very accommodating with her requests and even had prosecco in the room as we arrived. Unfortunately after an afternoon in the spa the water in the hotel was not working therefore we were not able to shower before wanting to go out. The receptions team were very apologetic and helpful ensuring us they were doing everything they could and even told us of a nearby gym's facilities we could use. The next day as a result of the water loss, we were upgraded to a junior suite which we both enjoyed. Besides the inconvenience of the water the hotel was very accommodating and helpful in making this weekend a great one.

Staff here are friendly they can not do enough for you. I felt very welcome by the lovely reception staff and the rooms are very cosy. We will definitely return upon our next trip to Dublin.

Location is excellent, just few steps from Trinity College and all the bars, restaurant, shopping, whatever you want. Staff is nice and trying to be helpful, they also have complimentary fruits, water and coffee for guests - anytime you want. Hotel has definitely some character, with squeaky floors, carpets, which I kinda liked. The biggest issue by far was noise from the bars downstairs, possibly due to very thin and old windows. The music continued till 2.00 AM, so we didn't have a single good night sleep. This hotel is listed as 4 stars, but I could find any indication of that on the building or lobby. There is no elevator. At this time, there was no breakfast, just some sweets, we've been told due to renovation in restaurant - but the restaurant was open every evening, so hard to say what was really going on.

The staff was very friendly and helpful . The room was nice and quiet. This hotel is very well located, however, it has a lot of steps. If walking up and downstairs is not something you like to do I would stay somewhere else. There is an elevator, but it is hard to get to and you still need to climb some stairs. The room had air conditioning which is a special feature for a European hotel and it had an outlet that was for U.S.A. plugs.I haven't seen that in a hotel in Europe.

Arrived an hour early for an appointment and we asked if this was ok, we waited in the relaxation room which was cold with no background music. Was not asked our names on arrival. We out 5 minutes before the appointment to ensure we had been checked in, to which the receptionist who was on was extremely rude and said we still had to wait 6 minutes, this was not our issue we didn't mind. At no point were we greeted with a smile or the sense of being looked after. After waiting nearly 30 minutes past our appointment, only one person was called. To it was then said that the therapist said the wrong clients had been taken in. One of us would have our treatment while the other waited an hour and visa versa. When we stated to the reception that this was not acceptable it was said that we are not the only ones in the spa that other people are having treatments too. Which basically implemented that our customer was unwanted. I asked for a refund and was refused. I knew I was entitled to a refund. It was implemented that we could come willy-nilly for another appointment, even when it was stated that we weren't from Dublin and had come specifical to Dublin for this treatment. We were made to feel extremely unwanted. Another appointment was offered after a while at the sister clinic which wouldn't be for another hour. We already had dinner reservations which we would be late to due to not being called on time. We were made to take a voucher for the value of the treatment which we did not want as it was stated that we were offered another appointment and refused. We wanted a full refund due to it not being our mistake and the rudeness of the receptionist, who we do not want to deal with again or to go to the clinic. We were made to feel so unwanted and a hassle to the day through a mistake which was not our own, we were an hour early which meant that we were there not to miss our appointment, I have found no way to contact management and asked for management on the day and was also refused.

Wouldn’t stay here again. There are soooo many stairs. Apparently there is an elevator but they turn it off at 11 so we had to lug our suitcase up countless flights of stairs. The towels are really small and thin, not luxurious or “spa-like” at all. The shower is challenging to get working without getting covered in cold water and took me quite a few minutes to work out how to get it warm (I stay in hotels a lot and am used to different shower systems). The water pressure was very good though, I’ll give them that. My room was on a lane way and there was a noisy bar with people and music till after 1am and then the noise started up again a bit after 8am with bins being cleared, metal beer kegs being delivered, and general commotion. UPDATE: The elevator only operates between 3pm-11pm for some reason. Had to carry my bags down 6 flights to get out

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets. If you find the ground floor queues start to grow, just go upstairs for smaller queues. There's great sound and visi...
