DON'T BOOK HERE!! Horrible hotel with an even worse owner! There was black mold everywhere. It also was a major fire hazard with loose wires hanging from the ceiling. Tried to cancel because it just wasn't safe, but the owner didn't respond to anything.

I booked a room here a few years back. The inside smelled very strong of something. It was quite hot inside and very narrow staircase. The room was very small with a tiny window with no air conditioning, it was uncomfortably warm inside. There was a bowl of sugar on the end table with a spoon in it that was still dirty from the last person to use it. I went to turn my key back in and let the manager know we would not be staying, and he never answered his door. So after we left he reported that we no call no showed so the booking site would charge our card on file. Ill never make this mistake again

Cold, heating did not work. The rest was more or less OK, but for me that was a deal breaker. Also, beware room nr 6, the lock is really tricky and it can jam randomly, making it an oddyssey to open again. If management solves these two issues, place would be recommendable.

Not bad for one night's stay, bathrooms would need an upgrade ours had mould on the roof above the shower, could also do with an air freshener in bathroom also as there is no other ventilation other than the fan above shower. For the price you are paying I would have expected a bit better facilities . In saying that it was very warm but we had to turn on radiator. The front rooms can be quite noisy with traffic trains etc.

Stayed at a single room at the top of the stairs. The bathroom is quite magnificent but unfortunately you can’t sleep in it. And I did try. The single divan bed is pressed against the door containing the noisiest hot press tank that went on **all night long** The noise bothered me so much I actually took the mattress to the floor of the opposite side of the room and pressed the base of the divan against the door of the effing hot press in an attempt to reduce its noise. Other than that it is just an old house with flowery red carpets on the stairs and on the room. I also heard the downstairs neighbour snore happily away while I listened to the whistling sound of the hot press. If I had paid €30 I would have accepted it. For €60 I certainly expect more.

You know when you watch a show like Gordan Ramsays hotel nightmares and wonder "do places this bad really exist?", Well this place is living proof that they do. The place felt like crashing at your mates gaff in university. There was no sense of privacy, every wall in the room was stained, the walls upstairs kept humming for some reason, the carpet had things mashed into it, and the bed was stained, unfomfortable and covered in hairs. Then to top it all off Abbington House is also over priced and in a terrible location. If you have any other viable option do not stay in this place. Get a hotel or a student gaff. You'd be better off.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay there! Really good to find, not too far away for a quick visit at the Pub. And, above all, very friendly and thoughtful host, excellent breakfast! Highly recommended!!

Small. Cramped. Expensive for what it is. Available 'parking' was a dodgy alley big enough for one car close the property. Noisy.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately our room was no bigger than a storage room. For 1 person evt. Gerde sufficient. For 2 people an impertinence. Also, the room was not clean and therefore too expensive.

(Translated by Google) Actually I'm not a fan of reviews but I have to give my pleasure. Room so big that you can not fall over, there is no breakfast at the alleged special offer of 90 euros and then you see, others have even paid only 70 euros. Well maybe they did not have the special mold in the bathroom (even on the ceiling) and fresh blood stains in the bed of the predecessor. Defective odor throughout the building. So highly recommended. This describes my impressions. Also bestens zu empfehlen. Dies schildert meine Eindrücke.

(Translated by Google) Very dirty, very small bed for two people, old furniture and scrapped, toilet wobbles - one has the feeling that the toilet from the anchorage breaks, bathroom very very only. All in all, the price is far too high for the performance offered. Owner not available for a chat!

(Translated by Google) 2 nights, 160 euros. That was exactly 160 too many. The "landlord" already knows why he does not allow a cancellation. It's rip-off. A run-down place that acts as a money machine. I would say .... look for something else, it can not be worse.

(Translated by Google) The location is perfect. Bus station two steps away with city center every 5 minutes. The aircoach line to the airport uses the same stop. Quiet neighborhood. The small but basic and clean room. The staff who welcomed us kindly. The problem? The high price. With the fare (about 140 per night) you expect a high quality standard, not a two-star room without breakfast, with a micro bathroom. The prices for sleeping in Dublin are too high !!!
