I was here for brunch and dinner and both times have been lovely. I like their ambience especially in their courtyard where you could have natural sunlight as the roof is glass. Price is okay i think. Brunch is cheaper than dinner. We had antipasto shared platter, risotto, halibut, mimosa and red wine for about 100… not bad! Just make sure to book ahead especially when you plan to go on the weekends

Excellent food, and a unique decor for a Dublin restaurant. Atmosphere is always good and I have consistently had good food here. Definitely a fun spot for food and drink. However I found we had multiple wait staff which was fine but one man announced himself as our waiter when we entered however he never served us and continued to pace back and forth rather than take orders or deliver food. All wait staff and including this waiter were extremely friendly I just found it an odd set up.

Beautiful location, Paris vibe. Service is excellent. Drinks are perfect. Location is central. There is an inside area, an outside area and a separate dining area. All in a beautiful setting. Must visit if you are in town, you cannot go wrong here. Visit with your friends, family or group.

Fab place .... Just called in to have an after dinner drink with my wife. Sadly they each cost 6.50 euros! Southern Comfort and a Cointreau. Lovely friendly atmosphere and music.

Stopped there for a bite and a drink around 8pm on a friday. I ordered a antipasti platter(17€) and a cod croquettes(12€) and a bottle of white wine (34). The service was great, as it should be, also the food. Didn't take too long to be served. Ambient is nice and cozy, good atmosphere for a happy hour or a date. Recommend.

We all know how expensive it’s getting out there and the quality of food and service has dropped. Well, Café en Seine was a pleasant surprise! Not was the food tasty, the service was really good, the waitress we had was really attentive and patient and friendly. The food came out really quick which worried me, but turned out to be really good. The mocktail I ordered was very concentrated so even after eating my meal it still tasted as good as the first sip, like seriously👏🏾👏🏾. The decor, ambience, well seasoned food, and friendly staff, was a very welcome surprise. People this is so rare in Dublin!

We just had such an amazing time at Cafe en Seine. We went for brunch and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered first fish and chips for our little girl and it came super quick. Btw the corned beef benny is super yummy. Best eggs Benedict I have ever had. Staff is really friendly and very attentive. Lovely atmosphere with live music too. The place is very well decorated, ideal for pictures. Only thing that we didn’t like was the crème brûlée. The crust was thicker than necessary and the creme was quite cold. Anyways we will totally go back there.

Super cool atmosphere and huge restaurant. Lots and lots of seating. My whole party really enjoyed their food. The caramel pecan pancakes were the best pancakes I've ever had!

Absolutely stunning venue, it's such a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere. Presentation of everything was incredible, the portions of food were so beatly and beautifully presented and they tasted incredible. The staff were really nice and helpful. Overall it's just a really pleasant experience.

Great place, good food, excellent staff and lovely atmosphere! It's difficult to find places like this one in Dublin, with a fantastic view from the terraces at the top floors. It has become one of my favorite places in the city :)

An elegant place for lunch in central Dublin. There are some French elements to the decor but the food is mostly Anglo centric. The wine list is decent and the service was attentive and kind. The fish and chips with a curry sauce was a definite highlight. The French dip sandwich on a soft brioche was also very good. Prices are a bit high but the ambiance is worth it.

If there were more stars, they'd get them. We popped in for lunch. The food was bursting with flavour. Loads of veggie options. Staff were great. The atmosphere and the building made me feel like I was back in Paris. Lovely cocktails. Not too expensive either. Brilliant, you need to go here. Top marks, what else can I say?

The atmosphere and the food was absolutely amazing! The place looks beautiful and is great for larger groups or even dates. I came here with a group of colleagues after work and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. But there was two big issues, the non alcoholic options are pretty bad. This is understandable as they are more known for their wine selection, however i had ordered a mocktail which was €11,50. This was just plain sparkling water with a flower in it which was flat after 15 minutes. If you’re interested in non alcoholic beverages you’re better off ordering a mixer. Another thing was, server Joudy had approached us at the end of our night without approaching us before and had brought us the bill. She was very rude while paying as she had misheard us and thought we weren’t going to leave a tip, she said “you’re very bad leaving no tip😠” with an angry impression and attitude. When we had corrected her, which we at this point shouldn’t have considering her attitude. She proceeded to smile and say “oh you’re not so bad then😄” This had left a weird atmosphere between the colleagues too as we had been having a great time and had ordered a good bit of stuff (food and drink). This behaviour is most definitely not appropriate in any establishment especially in a well known place like this. Hopefully this won’t be a reacquiring thing…

The inside of this restaurant is absolutely stunning, i love how it looks inside! There was live music, really good music but it was too loud. The food was also good, and really good service, nice staff.

The ambiance as soon as you walk in is nothing short of magical! The 1920s architecture and plush furnishings are beautiful. Very good social distancing measures in place without being too obvious as well (thermal screening for temperatures, hand sanitizer and evenly spaced tables). The cocktails were delicious (please try the Café Martini!) and the food was amazing and very well thought out (New York brunchy goodness). Absolutely can't wait to come back! ✨

Loved the place.!! Me and my bf made a last minute plan for dinner and went here. The reception guy welcomed us and double checked to find us a seat amidst a fully packed crowd which was really a sweet gesture. The rotisserie chicken is a must try. We also tried duck which was yummy as well. The drinks were exquisite as well. The whole vibe of the place just adds up to your romantic dinner. Two full meal dinner plus one pair of hot drinks cost us around 70 euro which I think is worth it. The staff here gets a big thumbs up for the welcome and the service.

A very fancy place for dinner or drinking. We had birthday celebration there. Very good atmosphere. Pre-Booking is very needed as they are very popular. 30-40 euros per person. Steak is nice. Seafood is also great!

Had a great coffee and the probably the worst cheesecake ever. 😅. The white chocolate cheesecake has no taste, 2cm x 5 to 6 cm is the slice with an ice cream scoop for 8 euros.. Very naive of me 🤣🤣. Lovely spot though

Had a lovely brunch here! The food was delicious, I got the Turkish eggs and my friend had plenty of Gluten-free options. The service was top notch! The decor and atmosphere was made for social media!! It’s a great spot! I would advise booking, we didn’t and were luck but it seems to be a busy spot. I will be back!

This place has great food. We got the Burrata, the arrabiata and the duck parfait and it was all amazing. We got a brownie and a lemon posset for dessert... both unreal in taste and presentation. The bartenders made a special request cocktail for my girlfriend too. The decor and staff are great. The only reason I took away a star was that the music didn't suit the vibe (pop/house music) and the lighting was like a nightclub.

It's a great place to take a beer or a cocktail. Reasonable prices either for drinks or food. The environment is cool and decoration wonderful, if you have the chance, just go and visit this Cafe , you will feel that you are in parisian streets.

Fantastic place if you are first time in Dublin. Great selection of music 70's to 90's, live dj sets, great cocktail selection and friendly and professional staff. Always reserve a table as during the weekends it's always packed. Security gentlemans should be trained better for this high class night club, as they were asking some unappropriate questions after we confirmed our reservations. Anyway those little things can't ruin overall experience. Great for visit with friends.

Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Kitchen closes early (at 20:00 on Sunday). Recommended!!!

  • 1/5 Conor L. 3 years ago on Google
The food was very bland and not worth the price paid. Drinks were average at best and the price for what was served was incredibly high. Not only was it expensive in terms of normal Dublin prices, we were left waiting almost an hour for our food which consisted of wings and burgers. I understand Covid-19 has interrupted service but this is unacceptable. There are plenty of other places I would much rather go than Cafe En Seine. The overpriced menu and uninviting atmosphere deserves a 1 star.

  • 2/5 Rebecca C. 3 years ago on Google
Staff treated us very poorly, food expensive. Limited menu - especially for the vegetarian and vegan options. Ruined our Christmas night out. Won't be returning.

Completely new design — much better than before Just came back after a year: unfortunately, prices are over expensive for food and drinks, and if quality was there it would be acceptable, but it’s fade and there is very little in your plate. 2.5€ for extra bread :( Not worth it, won’t come back. Waiters are nice and paying attention. However they don’t know how to serve wine.. it’s not a pint, it’s a delicate liquor.
