First night in Dublin and had a great meal here, the music and dance show was wonderful! The dinner was in another area of the hotel, not while you eat, but fine!! Enjoyed the hospitality and history too. Oct 2022

This is an absolute great time! Good music and good drinks! If you want dinner you have to sign up for the meal before hand. The traditional dancing is spot on and the musicians are fantastic. You can get up and join in at the end! I would put this on your list.

We booked a dinner and the show during our visit to Dublin and we enjoyed both. The food was ok - 3 meal course with a starter, main and a desert. Don't expect Michelin Stars, but we found it to be a decent quality meal served by very friendly staff. We very much enjoyed the show. Good musicians and a dancer with positive attitude and lovely music sprinkled here and there with jokes and some interesting historic facts about Irish music, folklore and traditions. It was a very good way to start our long weekend in Dublin. Thank you

Absolutely wonderful experience. Went with my husband and parents - we were celebrating our wedding anniversaries and they gave us a special table in front of the show and dedicated a song to us. The instruments were just magical to listen to. Some new ones I had never heard before. Music was a mix of lively and lovely. The Isle of Hope was my favorite one they played. I’d never heard it but it made me filled with emotion and I felt the place the writer was he wrote it. The Irish Dancer was so talented and just enthralled the entire audience. Really a 5 star experience. We also did the dinner ahead of it and very much enjoyed it. Had the pork soup, Irish Stew, and the dessert. Very flavorful and the best soda bread I’ve had yet in Ireland. Ollie was an exceptional bar tender and the best Guinness pourer this side of the Mississippi - even his petite pint. Would highly recommend getting tickets and experiencing it for yourself!

Over the top entertaining! By far, the BEST VALUE for the price of any excursion we have taken in decades! Whether you go as a group or on your own, this venue values you! The employees are exceptional, attentive, and accommodating. We loved the pub cellar before the show, a great atmosphere. Comfortable, clean and relaxing. Dinner was next and I must say, I was not expecting the quality or quantity of food that arrived at our table. We have eaten a lot of salmon in our days, BUT THIS WAS THE BEST SALMON WE HAVE EVER EATEN, NO LIE! Simply out of the world! People around us also complimented the Guinness Beef stew as having been the best they had eaten. The Quality was simply outrageos, we tip our hat to the chef! Lastly, but certainly not least was the Irish House Party band. I have been to several venues and listened to Irish bands for over 40 years, but this was by far unique and so entertaining. My comment to the band was " you have a comedy show with a concert and dance show that breakout in the middle of your session". They are entertaining when they talk and play! These 4 musicians put on a show so absolutey entertaining. Each musician and the solo dancer is an accomplished world -renowned and genuinely talented performer. This was a major highlight on our stay in Dublin. Don't miss it! You will walk away with memories that will keep you smiling! Save cash money to buy their CDs after the performance.

Had a brilliant night tonight at the Irish House Party. Brought a group of relations from the US but even the Irish amongst us had a great night. Food, service and show top notch. Great night!

I loved the show, they are teaching you some Irish music and they explain how they do it and they explain the meaning of the songs. They are also showing you some Irish dancing. A lot of interaction with the crowd and you even get the chance to dance yourself. Also good food but this is in forehand of the show not while the show is taking place. We even learned an Irish song

Great experience if you're looking for Irish food and a show. I tried coddle for the first time and was not disappointed! After dinner we went downstairs for a music session which included some traditional songs, a bit of background information about the instruments and some Irish dancing. It was very interactive and they even gave the crowd a chance to learn some dance steps. Would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin.

I was surprised by how bad the food was here. Definitely not worth paying so much for a lousy meal. Could have found something much better at a third of the price. But the performers were phenomenal.

I've brought groups twice and am booking a third. Perfect introduction to Ireland and a slice of Irish culture for newbies. Food is not fancy but tasty and representative and fairly priced. The music and dance afterward, with a splash of humor, is highly entertaining. Not a large assembly of performers. Three or four very talented folks who make you glad you came.

VERY disappointed - booked 3 places at the Irish House Party for evening of Thurs 18th May for the first evening of a long w/e in Dublin (3 friends had flown over from the UK), only to find The Irish House Party had been cancelled. However, I had NOT been informed of this, either by email or by phone. A young girl celebrating her 21st in Dublin with her boyfriend had also arrived for the show (a present from her mother for her 21st) - how very disappointed she was too on finding the show had been cancelled. Poor organisation on the part of the show's organisers. Would recommend against anyone booking for this show.

We did the Irish House Party Dinner and Show the first night we were in Dublin. It was such a great start to our trip! We loved everything! The food was great, tasty and loved the vegetable soup! The staff were kind, courteous and attentive. The show itself was absolutely fabulous! It really started our trip off with a bang by hearing Irish music and seeing Irish dance! The musicians were all great and had a great sense of humor. The show was interactive and it wasn’t overly long. I would highly recommend this show to anyone looking to experience traditional Irish music and dance.

What an incredible performance!! Everyone on stage was so talented and funny, the time really flew by. We had three musicians who collaborated really well together and played Irish music and instruments for us, as well as a super talented dancer. It was so impressive and I'd highly recommend everyone to stop by if you have the time. As for dinner, the food wasn't terrible but also wasn't anything to write home about. The one complaint I have is the service was pretty bad. We asked for water three times and never got served. But not going to let the staff soil the amazing performers.

We had the best time at the Irish House Party! The traditional music set featured a guitarist/singer, a flute and bodhrán player, an uillean pipe and flute player, and a dancer. They all were exceptional musicians and the dancer was amazing. Also, they were freaking hilarious. Such a fun evening, and we truly were sad when it ended. (Take cash so you can buy a CD afterward - We need to support musicians who took a hard hit during the pandemic!) I can't comment on the dinner because we went for just the show. I have to say, we were nervous beforehand that this might be cheesy, but we are so happy we went. Highly recommend!

Food was over cooked and dry. I’m not sure why people said the food was good; it was quite terrible. The musicians stood in the back and the show did not start on time.they finally took the stage 20 minutes late and finally started to play 25 minutes late. The drunks who came down from the bar talked over much of the performance. During dinner the room is incredibly loud and you were unable to have a conversation with the people across the table from me.. Musicians were tuning their instruments during dinner adding to the noise. Save your money this was a horrible experience

Great fun show preformers were great, BUT don't bother with the dinner, the food was terrible and then when you get to the show the people who didn't have to eat the food were already in the front rows. The carrots 🥕 were so under cooked we couldn't cut them with a fork and could barely cut them with a knife. The meat had so much fat it was about 25% fat - every piece had fat. The flavor was good, just could really only eat the sauce and mashed potatoes, the veggies needed to cook several more hours. The soup 🍲 I only ate 2 spoonfuls and couldn't eat any more. The berry cider was good.

I went with my friend for her birthday. The staff is really nice, the food is good and tasty, but don't expect too much of it, and the show was AMAZING! I couldn't recommend the show enough, it's really entertaining and a good way to discover Irish music. The drinks are also nice and not too expensive. It was a really nice evening and I really recommend you try it out as well.

Great atmosphere, great food, great beer and drinks and an excellent traditional Irish music group accompanied by a dancer with an excellent performance. That's all we found at the Irish House Party. You can come and just watch the music show but if you can the dinner don't miss it, the salmon and leek and brie cheese were delicious. It's definitely a place I highly recommend visiting on your days off to sample the food and listen to traditional Irish music.

The front man was charming and charismatic, and the musicians were beyond talented. The performance even included a world-class dancer from Riverdance. If you like or are at all interested in learning about/listening to Irish folk music, this is definitely worth checking out.

  • 5/5 Margaret H. 1 year ago on Google
An excellent dinner followed by authentic Irish music played and sung by very talented musicians. They had real character, and made the night funny and fun. They explained and demonstrated the instruments. Fun audience participation with singing and clapping. The dancing was great. A terrific evening.

We did dinner and a show. The food was good, the service was lovely… but the show was fantastic. Pipes, whistles, flute, bodhran, guitar, voice, and dancing came together with stories interspersed and made for an excellent show that had us laughing, crying, and singing along.

This was one of the best shows I went to, in my 6th time here in Ireland! The dinner was delicious, the singing was beautiful and brought me to tears, and the young lady who danced was breathtaking. If you're in Dublin, you need to come and attend one of these shows!!!

Walking distance from our reasonably priced hotel. The Guineas beef stew was deep and flavorful without being heavy. I thought the food and drink was great. We sat in a group of folks who didn't know each other, and it turned out to be great fun, as if they paid attention to groupings. The show was a small group of talented artists who clearly have fun doing what they do and brought us along with them. I was impressed that the drummer dancer brought on stage a very young budding Irish dancer from the audience and worked her right into the number. Bravo!

We went there for my father's birthday for dinner and the show, and we weren't disappointed! Our reservation got lost (along with some others), which led to a bit longer wait to be seated until they added a new table, but it was fine. The dinner was ok, nothing extraordinary. The set menu usually includes 3 starters, 4-5 mains and 2 types of dessert. The portions are decently sized, although the beef stew could have been a bit bigger (I've had bigger portions in some pubs) and the food is very good. The show was really nice, and the band is really good. They crack jokes most of the time and take turns explaining the history of Irish music and its instruments. The dancing part was really nice (and there's quite a lot of dancing) although it would be much better if there was also some dancing in pairs/groups, not only a single dancer. All in all, I would suggest this show to friends and family who want a nice night out, with good food and a nice show.
