A NYC style bar at ground floor of the Devlin hotel, competing with Stella cinema in the basement and Layla's Restaurant on the rooftop. Not an easy job, this place does the trick though. Really nice vibe, for business or casual with friends or a date. There's a lot of light throughout the space, so especially pleasant for brunch. The Jazz band was a nice touch. The brunch menu was good value for money offering a tapas plate, one side plate and two cocktails for €35. However, it's still a hotel bar, so don't expect a gourmet experience when it comes to food. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 is slow service. I know it's hard to find staff these days and the girls don't speak English very well but we waited exceptionally long for simple orders such as tea, a cocktail or one tapas plate... several times during our visit and the place was empty, as you can see from the pictures.

I have mixed feelings about this place: we had food and drinks. The food was excellent. I’d say I was not too fond of the potato in the octopus, but everything was great, especially the burrata and the meatballs. The drinks were disappointing. They have great presentation but they absolutely need to work on their drinks. All the proportions were wrong. Too much Campari in a Negroni, too much lime juice on a margarita, water down almost no vodka cosmo. I know their bartender can make a good drink as I asked for a particular mix, and he delivered perfectly, but all their recipes are wrong, and I would have returned most of the drinks.

We ordered a couple cocktails from the signature menu thinking let’s see how good this place is. We wait with excitement. Bartender pulled out a premixed jug! No... When you have lots of bottles with countless cocktail options and a signature drinks menu, why are you serving premixed drinks. You need to be making hand crafted cocktails Americana Bar. Especially when they cost 11-15€ each. Atmosphere is great. Staff is meh.

By far my favourite cocktail bar in Dublin. Such unique cocktails in a relaxed environment with unbelievable service. Emilio is an absolute star and always does his best to accommodate and recommend drinks based on your preferences. I could not recommend a bar enough. A must visit!

Such a cool spot- great atmosphere, beautiful decor and really attentive staff. I'm not a cocktail person normally but Americana's are so fresh and fruity rather than overly sweet. I had a peach one that you should definitely give a try.

It's not common to find a bar where everything is tasty, both food (small bites) and cocktails. Exceeded expectations. The ambience was nice and the service was excellent (prompt and friendly). Went on a Sunday night. Will definitely go back.

Lovely place,but on a cold and windy April night the draughts come from all angles,went back in May and it was great,no cold draughts, only cold beer and great chicken wings 4☆ 👍😇 came back draughts and wind and cold much better,but no chicken Wings 😥

Been here for a meeting. Very nice, staff very friendly and helpful. The place is fabulous a bit cold. Coffee was ok. They have a fresh pastry which is nice. Food for lunch is good but no too many healthy options. See the picture .Ciao

I was in American Saturday night just gone and I had a great time with my partner. One staff member in particular, Alex provided amazing service as well as cocktail knowledge which was a great help in ordering. She recommended the replica cocktail which was exactly to my taste! Such friendly service and food was lovely as well.

As we sat down the server handed us the drinks menu and said they could also do any classic cocktail. I looked at the bar to see if they had the ingredients for my favorite classic cocktail and they did when I asked the server if they could make it she said they didn’t have the ingredients. I said I could see the ingredients on the bar and she said the bartender didn’t know how to make it (fair, impossible to know every cocktail) I then suggested to let them know how (simple equal part recipe) or suggested they could google it, she said since they didn’t have a button for it they couldn’t make it ….??? This place clames to be a cocktail bar and they can’t make a simple classic cocktail? She was also very rude about it and I don’t appreciate her lying saying she didn’t have the ingredients when I could clearly see them there. Needless to say I’ve order this drink in Laylas upstairs Other than than I really like the food in this place Shame they’re so rude and do go above and beyond for client considering the prices

Thursday evening jazz session isn't attracting big crowds. Staff were attentive and the food was good.

Loved the vibe of the place. Service very friendly. Didn’t like the cocktails, tried 3 cocktails (Big on Japan, Replica and Whisky and Apple) and none of them were good enough to be remembered. Replica was so bitter that I still can feel the acidity on my tongue. The food was very tasty, but there is no consistency in the size of the dishes. Ordered a large octopus dish and was a bit disappointed tbh (80% potatoes / 10%olives / 10% octopus) and can’t imagine the size of the small one. Eggplants (aubergines), arancini, frito misto, porchetta are big portions, but the octopus guys, you have to review it. Very very small compared to the other dishes. All in all nice place. Would come back for the ambient and wine.

Cozy cocktail bar and restaurant. There is a very long selection of cocktails. Food wise they offer only tapas. We got meat and fish tapas to share and they were both really good although they are suitable for only 3 people and we were 4. Cocktails were really tasteful and original and the dessert was amazing. I’d recommend this place although prices are on the higher side.

GREAT CRAIC, GREAT DRINKS, GREAT VIBES... WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED!!?! Absolutely worth the visit. Absolutely one of My favorite atmospheres in South Dublin. If you are lucky, which you probably will be since they do it often, You can catch some live music as well. The drinks are fantastic, decently priced and you feel like you are in a 1950s American ritzy cocktail bar... In short, pure class. The Paul'o (I think that's how you spell it) cocktail is 2 die for!

I had a fantastic time here made even better by all of the staff (namely Bella and Chika who served us throughout the night). There was such a nice, relaxed environment which was refreshing given the current stressful climate. I'd definitely recommend this place for a few drinks!

So happy to see places like this opening up in Dublin!! This bar and lounge is sooo nice. The DJ was playing amazing chilled out music from his booth and the lighting and atmosphere are very cool. Myself and my friends all loved our food. Will be back.
