Little Gem Tours provided an exceptional tour and as a family owned/operated business, everyone helped put our trip together. We were able to customize the Wild Atlantic Way 7 day tour to make it fit our own unique itinerary. Also, because we didn't want to be on the road everyday traveling to a new location, we stayed a couple of nights in select areas and did day trips from there. Rosie/Robbie helped us with the lodging details as well as letting us know what bookings we should do in advance. We had certain select things we wanted to see but left much of it up to our guide. Martin was a perfect guide in every way - personable, knowledgeable, interesting and took great care of us. We left so much up to Martin to determine where/what we would visit and see. He did not disappoint, and we saw so much more than the usual sights, although we saw most of those as well. He provided exactly the tour we were looking for - more of a local sense of adventure rather than a preplanned tour itinerary for tourists. The accommodations were all great and Martin made bookings for us for both lunches & dinners. A very key factor in traveling while businesses are still struggling with pandemic issues. The farm stay was wonderful although I didn't realize that both myself and daughter Anne were allergic to turf/peat smoke . We didn't light the fire in our cottage but rather had the open fire during our music gathering and had to go outside towards the end. Something to consider for the future. While we know that the burning of turf for fires will be ending, if the Farm qualifies as a heritage site and can continue to burn turf fires, guests should be aware that not everyone can tolerate the smoke from the fires. Other than that, it was a wonderful visit just to relax and spend time with Eddie Joe and the animals. I just wish we were there for more than 1 day so we could enjoy all the wonderful goodies in the fridge/kitchen that were made available. Little Gem Tours is like driving in Ireland yourself, except without the stress and more like traveling with a friend that knows the country.

Our family did a private tour with Little Gem Tours. It was awesome. Robbie was easy to work with and helped us choose the appropriate stops for our group of 12 ranging in age from 14-72. The trip was better than we could have expected. Our driver Tony was wonderful! He told us folklore stories, sang Irish songs for us and was a wealth of knowledge. You will not be disappointed using Little Gem Tours.

Our trip through southern Ireland with Little Gems Private Tours was absolutely amazing! None of us in this small group of four had ever been to Ireland before so we were open to all suggestions, and totally delighted at pretty much every single stop we made. Robbie was flexible with us in the amount of time at each stop and made excellent suggestions for us with restaurant and pub selections. We were able to go to many places that no motor coaches were able to get to, and that most drivers from the U.S. wouldn’t find. Having now done a private tour we wouldn’t do it any other way. Up early this morning, jet lag! First thought was to let you know how wonderful my trip was. Every thing was perfect. Most of all I wanted you to know that Elva is truly a gem! She made our trip so enjoyable, and her knowledge of Irish history along with a wonderful sense of humor made each day that much more enjoyable. Robbie was amazing to work with. He was always prompt with answering emails and called a couple of times to verify our plans. We were a group of 12 ranging in age from 15 - 73 and we did something for everyone. The hotels we stayed in were very nice and always ready for our arrival. Our tour guide, Tony was fabulous. He was a wealth of information. He told us folk stories and sang us folk songs of Ireland. Our seven day private tour of Ireland was exceptional. We can't wait to visit again.

FANTASTIC JOURNEY!!!!!! Look no further, this is the Cadillac tour of Ireland!! We just finished two weeks touring all of Ireland. Robbie did a magnificient job of planning everything and allowing us to just relax and enjoy! Our accommodations were top notch and in perfect locations, close to lots of things. Our Southern guide Brendan was great and catered to all our needs and was always timely! He took us to some very local places where most tour groups would never go. Our Northern guide Dermot was so knowledgeable of the history and took us to some cool places. He knew about everyone in Northern Ireland which made it fun! We would have never seen a lot of what we did on a larger tour. We were made to feel special and individually important. Our gratitude and thanks for wonderful lifetime memories! Little Gem covered all the stops on our dream vacation to Ireland. We did the 5 day Wild Atlantic Way tour and it was everything that we could have expected. Our driver Julian was an absolute GEM and took us to all of the sights and made our trip worry free and full of adventure. Julian picked us up at our hotel and we had just a beautiful day touring Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny. He had arranged a brilliant day for us and had a lunch reservation secured for us as well when we arrived in Kilkenny. A Little Gem was amazing through all of our rescheduling due to COVID. From our first conversation with Robbie to our last night in Dublin, Little Gem Tours exceeded our expectations. Just finished our 5 day Wild Atlantic Way tour. Robbie helped us select the tour and vehicle that was right for us. We did choose the mini coach bus, even though there was 6 of us it gave us room to spread out and we each had our own row of seats. Our driver Tony was amazing. Very easy going! Gave us options each day to do what we wanted. Weather was perfect- it did not rain until we were driving to the airport.

Little Gem Tours provided an amazing family vacation experience for my brother, dad, and I. We chose the south x west adventure, and could not have been more pleased. Every day was well planned with stays at luxury bed and breakfasts, and our tour guide, Martin, was exceptionally knowledgeable about Ireland's history and sites that we passed along the way (and stopped at as well!). He was passionate and resourceful in helping our family trace down our ancestors in County Sligo, bringing us to our grandmother's ancestral hometown and finding local historians and graveyards to look for clues. All in all, would recommend this tour a million times over!

The South by West multi-day tour provided beautiful scenery, and diverse activities. Beyond the scenery, which speaks for itself, the driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Ireland, providing an additional dimension to an overall excellent travel experience.

Most enjoyable day. My friends and I took a Cliffs of Moher day tour with Little Gem Tours and enjoyed every minute. We would never have been able to visit all the highlights this day tour offered, not to mention the untouched hidden gems we discovered along the way. We took a 12 day private tour of Ireland with Little Gem back in 2019 and it was the best travel experience of our lives. We were an extended family of 12 and had all generations of travellers. Little Gem provided a perfect experience from the start. Private tour planner Rosie worked with us on every detail of our travels and customized the perfect tour for us.
