Standun is a beautiful shop, lots of beautiful clothes, candles, different displays of Irish made gifts. there is a coffee shop , Staff are very friendly and helpful a beautiful place to visit on the way to Spiddal,

I always stop in Standuns when i come to Galway. Its a great shop and its got such an interesting variety of goods. Good coffee too!

Great shop that goes back to 1946. Excellent personal service, they'll search their storage for different colors and sizes, even for out of season products on request. Very helpful on international shipping and tax issues. Nice little tea room as well.

A lovely and tempting shop. Excellent array of home wares, gift ideas and some nice clothes. A very attractive shop to browse in. Cafe available also for light treats.

I’m annually gratified to the Standún Family. It’s ideal to go there and get ALL your Christmas Shopping done! There is something there for everyone, young and old! Ideal also to buy gifts for friends and family overseas! In fact, a visit there is a treat anytime of the year 🎄

I love Standuns and often go there for something a bit special and different. I wanted to get a certain butter dish which l had purchased three of before ,but they thought they had sold out. However Marie the lovely lady I dealt with went out to the store room and eventually found exactly what l was looking for. I was delighted. Standun have lovely staff and Marie is a credit to them. She was courteous and helpful and couldn’t do enough for me. I just want to thank her through this review. Keep up the good work.

Pleasant stopover on this stretch of coast. Quality Irish outerwear from top designers at surprisingly reasonable prices in a comfortable, easy-to-shop setting. Cozy cafe in store albeit bizarrely located beside WC when it could be enjoying panoramic bay views. Unfortunately a lot of tourist kitsch is stocked also: this definitely deflates the quality experience.

Bought a lovely waterproof mac, very reasonably priced. Some absolutely beautiful clothes, perfumes, sweaters. Very trendy, perhaps a little over-priced, but you get what you pay for after all

Today Sunday. I brove to.this place for a visit to get a present for my mother. Not a very friendly place. A staff member of this place was not a bit helpful. She looked at me as I shouldn't be asking her questions. I only asked her about the price of the blanket and just worked of. I personally would not go back to this place again . A few years ago I did like this place but not any more. Sorry for spelling mistakes but so mad about it

This shop is just absolutely fabulous. I hadn't been in years. They have renovated it so beautifully. They have everything from clothes, homewares, food products. They have gifts for every occasion. Everything is mainly made in Ireland. I love all the candles and diffusers, the Julie Clarke range is my favourite. They stock the new mervue organic skincare range which is absolutely divine. In using the full range of it now and love it. The staff are so friendly. Couldn't recommend this shop highly enough.

A good quality gift shop with a wide range of quality products, perhaps a bit pricey for some as a result. We visited the cafe for a takeaway en route and received a great friendly welcome and good service from a young shop assistant
