Take a leisurely stroll 1km down the length of the east pier. At the end you will find the east pier lighthouse. You can also find a small ice cream vendor selling drinks and confectionary and ice cream. Most importantly to note is that toilets are available here too! The old cannon emplacements are still visible here.

Great views. An old British bastion. The walls must be 10 feet thick. The old Artillery positions are visible.

This place has a charm, almost usually full with people when open. People come to have some ice cream here, spend time with their family and friends and to have a look at the scenery, when one manage to look over the boundary walls. There are public toilet here. The Irish flag can also be seen fluttering in the wind. Overall a nice place and good photography opportunity.

Went for the Christmas Eve remembrance ceremony for the RNLI volunteers who lost their lives at sea in 1895. Was a lovely community spirit

Otherwise known as the East Pier Battery. Seasonal opening, has a Teddys Ice Cream Kiosk and Public Toilets. The lighthouse is automated as are all lighthouses round the coast.

Calm enough. You can relax and hear the music of waves hitting the rocks here. I loved it at night!

A nice walk along pier and looking east towards Wales, where people say you can see Snowdonia on a clear day. At the end of walk you go through where light house is and look over Dublin Bay, Howth and look South over Dun Laoire and Wicklow mountains while enjoying an ice-cream or coffee from Teddy's.

The walk out to the lighthouse is always so relaxing and scenic. There is teddy's ice cream at the lighthouse, on the pier and near the carpark so you can't miss that either!

I'd wish they'd open up the roof section, where the cannons are, also they could make the barracks up for like a museum tour. I.e as what it would look like back in the days of its usage. And be able to go into the rooms as see it as it would have been.
