Pretty disappointed when I arrived, gate on the road stating private property no trespass.? Narrow road no where to turn around. Great place to vist and walk but really wrong that the place is now gated forcing people to walk around dangerous dirt trails along the cliff. Shame can't see how access is cut off on road. Waste of a great area.

Even though we weren't staying in the lighthouse this is 1 of 3 lighthouses on this head of land. You take a small road up to the lighthouse - a country lane really. Mind your speed - lots of walkers about. You can follow a path from the 'Airbnb' lighthouse to the main lighthouse. A great little walk!!

I love this place!! We have stayed in so many different locations while we have been in Ireland but this is our favorite by far. No wifi or TV but we don't care. This lighthouse is amazing!

Lovely views. 3km walk on quite rough track. Lots of grey seals on beach in winter. Well worth the effort.

For travel bloggers and YouTubers, this place on the A-list recommendation. If you are already on the cliff walk, it takes only ten more minutes to get there.

Beautiful area for a hike. The tower can be rented and contains two bedrooms. Area is beautiful and peaceful. About 10 min outside of Wicklow. It can be rented via the Irish Landmark Trust.

The road are close to the lighthouse (someone guarded at the entrance gate). But you can climb over via turn left following the path and going back to main road to lighthouse again.

Amazing view for a little walk. The signs said this is a private property, but if you brave enough, you'll get very nice panorama. Don't forget to see the seals at brides head!

One of my favourite spots to visit. Not just to photograph but to have a walk around and there is a nice coastal path about 1km from here that is hidden but is a great little walk. This place can be spectacular for a sunrise and there is a much older lighthouse to the rear of this, that can be hired to stay in for a break

A nice walk though the views at the end are limited unless you brave the off road trails. These are not recommended unless you are sure footed. Lots of seabirds to be seen along the cliffs though better to kayak or take the tourist boat. Limited parking options too.

One of the many wonderful places in Ireland. A great walk/climb. Impassable for buggies or for people with reduced mobility. When you park in the golf car park, there will be multiple steps. The car park is free. As you walk along watch about for the seals on small beaches and in the see as there is a small colony living there. I loved the spot.

Great place for a short walk and a bit of exploring

Nice lighthouse, cool place to stay. Be prepared for the 109 steps to the kitchen at the top, five floors up. You will have to carry all your shopping up. Losing one star because of two things: 1: the one mile drive from the main road is full of potholes and very overgrown. Pretty sure I damaged my suspension and multiple scrapes on car that have not buffed out. Do not take a nice car or one with a low profile 2: the fire alarm went off twice in middle of the night. It was a fault we were notified about in advance, but seriously? Should have been fixed, not cool

I was there twice... First time we could drive almost to the end of road and we could also go for a walk and enjoy with view and explain our children how it work. TODAY it was closed gate a guy was in the car on other side of gate and didn't let us in. When we were leaving we stop one car and we told them it's closed. Then we find out it's open for friends of owner. So this lovely place is now in private property and owner doesn't give a sh... about people in wicklow. I would understand charging for parking place and let others for a walk... but this...? F.u.ck you Mr. Selfish

If you enjoy walking. Park the car next to the golf course and walk along the cliffs. A local man showed me the way. He walks it every day. There are signs prohibiting this but like everything in Ireland. It's ignored. I think about an hour walk. Lovely views of the cliffs and look out for the seals. The light house is accessable, some said the gates are closed. But it wasn't the day we went. Then walk back along the road. That only takes about 30 minutes.

It's a fascinating place. The walls must be 10 feet thick. Amazing views as you would expect. Steep stairs everywhere and no lift of course.
