This is a lovely scenic setting at any time of the year, whether it's bathing in the low winter sun or baking in the summer sun at it's highest. Set beside the River Boyne as it slowly drifts out of Trim. It's beside walks along the Boyne and paths that go around the Porchfield. The walks take you passed the ruin of St. John's Friary, well worth a stop to explore.
