A short train ride from Dublin City centre to the coastal urban seaside town. Spent half a day walking about the harbour and window shopping. Plenty of photo ops.

The main entrance to Ireland! If you arrive by sea you'll sail through the heart of Dublin Bay. If you arrive by plane you'll fly over Dublin Bay. It has plenty of golden sandy beaches.

Beautiful bay. Great for bit of sea fishing. Busy shipping lanes close by though.

Beautiful walk up to the lighthouse. 5km stretch. Couldn't recommend it enough! You've to drive by shipping container yards and water treatment plant and you'd be sure you're going the wrong way but just keep following Google maps!

When Irish Water's plant hasn't poured poo into it, Dublin Bay is a spectacular amenity for the city. And it's beautiful all the time.

Sailing around Dublin Bay.Dun Laoghaire. There is always an enviable line_ up of boats in Sun Laoghaire Harbour.BBut none can compete with Brian Both,a traditional wooden_hulled sailboat that spans 65ft and is topped with soaring sails. On a cruise around Dublin Bay; you'll sail around Howth and Dalkey coast_ line,as you learn how the ships namesake took on the Vikings in the Battle of Clontarf. You can loinin with the sailing too, learning how to set the sails and steer,or crawling out to the netting right at the front of the ship as you zoom.over the waves. While you are there a visit to the peoples park, the farmers mkt every Sunday from 11_4pm excerpt from weekend magazine June 10th.
