Excellent cocktails and food was amazing! The smash burgers are so juicy and full of flavour. On Sundays after 6.30pm cocktails are 2for1 as well. You will not be disappointed here and service was excellent and staff super friendly

Such a fun vibe and atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We got the three cheese nachos to share for a starter - absolutely delicious! 🤤 for mains we got the Central Park burger and some chicken tenders and bacon and cheese fries. Really good portion sizes and really tasty 😋

I feel bad giving you one star cos the staff was really nice and friendly. But food was terrible, cold burger, chips terrible only warm up not hot or fresh, disgusting cheese over chips and on the burger.. ribs felt like undercooked and make me feel sick after, chicken wings straight from a frozen packet just you don’t do this in a good restaurant. I can’t imagine to be able to serve to people this kind of food sorry never again and not recommend, stay away god bless

Had dinner with my friend at Thunder Road Cafe. We had mimosas and thunder nachos chicken. Then I had the bacon carbonara, and my friend had a burger. The timing in between dishes was good. They let us finish our nachos before piling the table with our mains. I appreciate that. The taste of the food was delicious, I’m not a good expert so in my opinion it was perfect. My friend enjoyed her burger and fries as well. Juicy and good portion. Service was really good and ambience in general and music kind of felt American.

Made a reservation for our group of 10 and so pleased we could get in. Visiting from the USA, and after 4 days in Dublin with sisters, spouses, nephews it was time for a little taste of home. We all love the fish and chips and stews and so much more it was just time for home. And, trying to make 10 people happy with enough variety….well, it can be a challenge. This place has a great variety to please ages 14 to 52, and nobody left hungry. Candice our server was a delight to work with. She made everything easy when we can cause such chaos!!

First visit here this evening - we just called in as we were passing and we were really pleasantly surprised. American themed as expected and very tasty indeed. I had a lovely Caesar salad (served with sauce on the side as requested) and my partner had the smashed bacon burger which was amazing (I had to taste it to confirm!). The portion sizes were generous. Loved the lights to turn over to indicate service was required! Recommended!

Great atmosphere and vibe with a motorcycle theme. Excellent chicken and beef burgers. The loaded fries were also excellent. We had a large group for a Stag do. The staff were great , service was very fast and the food was tasty. They serve pitchers of beer which were perfect for the occasion

Move over, mainstream diners – Thunder Road Café in Dublin is where the city's heart truly beats. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a piece of Dublin's rich tapestry, offering an authentic slice of the city that you won't find replicated anywhere else on the globe. The burgers here are exceptional, rivalling the best of the big names, while the live music and ambiance embody the very essence of Dublin's exuberant character. For a truly original Dublin experience that resonates with history and flavour, make sure to drop by Thunder Road Café.

Had pre-booked and explained that my son was on the spectrum and that the last time we visited they put is into a quiet area and hoped they could do it again. On arrival, they explained the previous area we had been was turned into a private bar and no longer available. They then offered us a choice of locations. Both of which were fab. We got to our table and the manager lowered the volume in the section down which meant that my son didn't even need his ear defenders. I know the place wasn't too busy, why we booked for A Tuesday, but every single member of staff that we dealt with was amazing, so friendly and attentive. The food was excellent piping hot, would definitely recommend the Route 66 burger. Many, many thanks to the staff, so much appreciated by a grateful Dad.

It was nice food and nice atmosphere. Though the medium rare steak was a little tough but the salad was very good and refreshing, like the citrus dressing especially. Service staffs were attentive and polite. Overall nice experience.

I came to thunder road for my first graduation dinner for my undergraduate and decided to come back for my masters graduation dinner and it did not disappoint. Bernie our waitress was amazing. She was so accommodating and had a great personality. We had the best craic in thunder road. We will definitely be back !!!

In this beautiful cafe bar, I found a charming atmosphere, lovely music, huge menus, and a great list of cocktails, the ideal combination to blast with my lovely ones. I just wanted to give a big shoutout to the fantastic staff, especially Ulises, for making such delicious drinks! Thank you so much for your hard work, dedication, and attention, Ulises! I hope to come back soon!

My recent visit was nothing short of exceptional! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our every need was met throughout the evening. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, making our dining choices more enjoyable. The steak was a highlight of the evening - cooked to perfection, juicy and bursting with flavour. It was an absolute delight and left everyone at the table speechless. We also couldn't resist trying the Mexican platter, and it was an excellent choice for sharing, a generous portion for two, and a flavourful explosion of spices and textures. And, of course, the classic burger and fries were a masterpiece – the fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. The kids in our group couldn't get enough of them, and it's always a win when the little ones are happy with their meal. Five stars, without a doubt!

Kate was very hospitable and made sure we were comfortable, with plenty of time to order. The food was scrumptious and the staff were all attentively pleasant. 11/10 and give Kate a raise please! An absolute credit to the restaurant! We'll be back!

Expensive touristic American type of food bar, however amazing music with tasty recipes mostly burgers.. with a twist of Mexican options. Lovely and helpful staff, order came in 10min 🤓 a place to be , when visiting Temple Bar area in the heart of Dublin!!

Food was pretty good! Cant believe we paid €4 for that tiny bottle of coke though… Prices were really high and the service was slow, balances out as the fries and pasta were delicious

Definitely worth a visit when in Dublin. across the road from Hard Rock Cafe (which we normally have to go to when visiting a new city) but half the price! so we refused to go to Hard Rock and instead found Thunder Road across the road and what a find. Great selection of drinks and food and funky decor with an American theme including Harley-Davidson paraphernalia. Will definitely be back.

One of the last places we visited in Dublin. Essentially a the Hard Rock Cafe of Dublin. Nice food and drinks and right in the Temple Bar strip of pubs and bars while being with walking distance of many attractions, this made it a bonus as it wasn't to far or to close to anything in specific. Overall a nice meal.

Great music and a fantastic ambience. The vibe and buzz is electrifying. The food is great and the choice of alcohol is good. the Harley Davidson bikes and the motorcycle themed interiors are very interesting too.

Amazing food. And among the several vegan options, the best burgers I’ve had so far. Fantastic service and nice and efficient staff, even when the place was full. High quality food and service for a fair price.

Have to say the food was top quality and staff were very good only thing I could complain about is the lack of sanitizer was especially shocked as it’s a restaurant.

First time dining in here, good innovation to notify waiters that you were ready to order or were looking for something. Means no awkward stare downs of staff to try get there attention! Food was hot, tasty and upto a very high standard! Would go back again. Staff were friendly and always looking to try and do more.

Thunder Road Cafe is one of my favourite places to visit and eat from in Dublin. It is a nice American themed restaurant with a lot going on inside, it is usually busy but the vibe is nice, the staff are hardworking and the food is lovely. The ribs fall right off the bones and are very juicy, by far the best ribs in Dublin. There’s a lot to see.
