I am awaiting patiently to adopt a small adult dog preferably female. Hopefully not too much longer. Dogs Trust have kept in touch, which is difficult I’m sure as they would not have much free time. Stay Safe everyone as you are needed big time. Thank you all for your endless work and love that you give to these orphans. Health and Happiness.

Got a chance to visit them for the first time. I was really impressed by their efforts in looking after pets that have been abandoned/surrendered. People there are extremely friendly. I urge everyone to donate as much as they can to keep this place running.

A BIG shout out to Christine & Mark who went over and above at every step in our adoption of our beautiful rescue dog recently! True love and care for the dogs in their care shone out at every turn. Without all the extra tips and support from them, I really don't know how we would have helped our handsom boy settle into his forever home so quickly.

Edit: the team did reach out to me regrading my original review which I really appreciated. We talked through my profile and they were very open about the dogs profile I had seen which wouldn’t have fitted in for us. We’re looking forward to being able to visit in the future and they can match our profile to the dogs they have. Thank you for the call back. I feel really let down that I’ve signed up for starting the adoption process and missed one call. I called back straight away and got a voice mail. I’ve left two voicemails, sent several emails saying my phone is on loud and I’m available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at any time. I’ve had emails back to say very unhelpfully “has anyone called you back yet?” , or “I’ve asked someone to call you”. A month later nothing. No reply back to my last email at all. If the answer is no you need to let people know, don’t just ignore people who genuinely would love to start the process of bringing a dog into their lives. Don’t keep promising to contact them and not doing it. Or allow the people who reply to emails to also call so you don’t just send empty promises.

I heard on the radio that there are many dogs waiting for adoption (in Dogs Trust), expecially now since the lockdown is ending and people are giving the dogs back, but when you want to adopt one, no one answers your phone, email, voicemail, no reply on Instagram as well. I tried everything in the last two months, but no one came back to me and I'm not the only one. Idk why are you even posting pictures of dogs for adoption if you are not willing to contact the person who would actually give the dog a loving home. I really don't understand....

Went in to say hello to some doggies, fell in love with one. Everyone friendly and helpful. Lots of nice wagging tail quadropeds up for adoption.

The absolute best. Recently fostered and eventually adopted a dog from Dogs Trust. From beginning to end the whole process was a pleasure, the staff is incredibly kind and it's so clear that they care deeply about the dogs. They were always available and happy to answer questions about behavior, training, medical history etc. Please consider donating, adopting or fostering. They deserve all the support!

Adopting dogs over the years from Dogs Trust. Lab Collie cross and a Jack Russell Chihuahua cross. Staff always friendly and helpful. You can adopt if you have other pets or children. It just needs to suit the dog that you want to rehome. ❤️ Super charity doing awesome work.

I would have to say that this place is like a heaven for lost or discarded animals and that the staff do tremendous work in getting them rehoused and rehabilitated to go to their forever home. Remember, a pet is for life and that they depend on us humans to look after them.

I would like to thank Niamh Curran -Kelly Veterinary manager at Dogs trust for all your Kindness and financial help with Champ the rescue greyhound. Unfortunately he had to be put to sleep at village vets we had him cremated and hope to collect his ashes next week. Again thank you so much for all your help and excellent support. I would encourage anyone to adopt an elder dog 🐕 they are often overlooked but make the most devoted and wonderful pets. And with the fantastic support both financial towards vets bills and training is also provided if needed from dogs trust makes the whole process so much easier. I will be making a donation on line too. Anne McLeod Champ thanks you 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

The dogs are kept in a clean, comfortable area and all the dogs we saw seemed really happy although they'll be even happier when they find a new forever home. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. Thank you for doing such a great job and providing such a nice service.

Got my dog here there in 2017 they took good care of her. She has multiple health issues and behaviour issues that we were not made aware of at all. We have to source training elsewhere because they're training programmes aren't the best. Are situation made it hard to find the breed we were after but dogs trust really helped us to get the dog we were after and I wouldn't give her up for the world

Contacted Dogs Trust on Messenger on fb, they responded very quickly and were lovley to deal with. I left up a donation of some duvets I didn't need, for bedding for the dogs, and the woman in reception was really welcoming and friendly.
