we used trailfinders to book our Honeymoon, big mistake using this company if we had booked on our own and not used a Travel agent we would have been able to get our hotel/Transfer/ Visits money back as these are services that are fully refundable with cancelations but trailfinders refused. we tried to postpone and we were given wrong information by one staff member who told us we can change to next year with only the flights to pay for. we were told by another that the information given to us was wrong that we would have to cancel everything and rebook again loosing 6k and and spending another 6k to book again. we got out taxes back but trailfinders claim it a s a gesture of good will but that is what we are entitled to by Law so no gesture of good will in reality, they gave us a €200 voucher after spending 6k with them. I can honestly say do not book with this travel agent, our experience with them has been awful from the start.

Amending my previous review after a personal phone call from Trailfinders manager. Nice to get the personal touch and apology. Genuinely never had issues with Trailfinders in the past and always found their agents very knowledgeable and friendly, but this one occassion really annoyed me, as it was a big 'once in a life time' trip. Glad to put it all behind us and am happy to recommend/use Trailfinders services again in the future.

Booked an Alaskan cruise with Ciarán,he listened to everything we wanted & put a package together for us. Our trip was amazing and good value. We were actually surprised everything went so smoothly as I've booked package cruises with other travel companies and have had a lot of hiccups. Will definitely use them again very happy.

Utterly disappointed. After years of using Trailfinders and being delighted with their service I had the worst customer service experience of my life yesterday morning, and I wouldn't say that lightly. The representative that served us, Nicola, completely dismissed ideas we brought to the table and had nothing but negative remarks to make. My partner and I wanted to enquire about Mongolia and Mexico and to say she looked at us like we had 10 heads would be an understatement. I had to ask her why she was frowning at us!! She was very unhelpful and rude. I thought their job was to help the customer tailor make their holiday or at least provide information on how to make a trip possible, all Nicola checked her computer for was visa advice. Complete waste of a visit when I had been sure Trailfinders would be a great resource, as they had been in the past. I am sorry to say that after all my years of travel I will no longer be visiting or recommending Trailfinders.

A couple of friends had already done the leg work of identifying flights to my chosen destination on the most suitable dates with various caveats but I wasn't brave enough to just go ahead and book. A friend who needs even more cosseting than I do recommended Trailfinders so I took her at her word. A phone call one afternoon and a dash into the Dublin office that evening, some very patient hand-holding, and I'm ready to fly. Thanks to all.

Unbelievable customer service, very knowledgeable staff regarding every detail or questions we had with our potential holiday. Showed us different days/flights for the best time/price to suit us and was a pleasant service. Thank you so much Allex. We got a great deal on our holiday which was significantly cheaper than when we looked at it ourselves and they sorted everything for us. I do have to remove a star just due to how long we waited. We waited around hour on a Monday evening (from 17:30ish), with 3 other people on front of us. There is no booking system here so it is wait and be seen. However, once we were seen the customer service rep didn't disappoint and was super helpful. Also, to be fair it is January so it is probably extremely busy

Had reached out to Lucas at trailfinders after trying to apply for a 60 day tourist visa for Thailand. The e visa process through the London embassy is a nightmare. Lucas sent on all the necessary paperwork which I filled out and returned. Really good customer care,keeping in touch by phone and email to iron out any wrinkles.Would highly recommend the service.Big thanks to Lucas

My husband and I went to Japan for our honeymoon and the trip was fantastic!! Great tours, accomodations and everything was well organised!! We want to thank Trailfinders and in particular our very helpful and great travel agent Tom who supported us to organise our lovely trip!! Booked with Trailfinders Ireland for our holiday in Vietnam/Cambodia. While in Saigon( Ho Chi Min City) we had booked a Mekong Discovery tour run through Urban Adventures. Great experience. Collected from in front of Saigon Opera House. Guide was Linda. Perfectly on time. Went with another couple out to Mekong Delta. Out on Mekong for a boat ride to an Island. Tea, fruit and music + Vietnamese singing, then onto a family with bee hives and delightful honey, chocolate making small business and then some coconut processing and candy making enterprise where we also got to taste rice, coconut, banana and snake( yes SNAKE) wines. Beautiful multi course lunch served up with cold beer or soft drinks, a rowing boat ride on the waterways and a Tuktuk spin for good measure. All the time Linda had information and stories to increase our enjoyment along the way. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Thanks Linda, Urban Adventures and Trailfinders .

I love that they only speak with you if they themselves have been to the place you're booking so they have first hand experience which a lot of travel agencies lack.. just back from Australia and Bali , they booked flights and they recommended two destinations in Bali and they couldn't have picked better, will definitely book through them again. We booked an all inclusive family holiday to Mauritius in July 2023 based on Trailfinders recommendation and they got it 100% right. We had an incredibly relaxing time and our older teens absolutely loved it. Trailfinders are professional and friendly and they give you all the time you need to find the right holiday within your budget. We found their advice was spot on. For a big holiday it’s well worth going with them. Highly recommend!

Last week I tried three times to contact the Dublin office, to price a holiday . I waited 20 minutes on each call, but had to hang up each time as I couldn't get through to speak with a representative.

Staff are always so helpful, I normally organise all of my own travel but it's worth going to them for bigger trips, the perosn you deal with will have traveled a lot in the country or area so can give some great advice

Excellent service. We called in to talk about a cruise we were thinking of going on & we looked after by a wonderful Canadian lady. She went through the options with us and we were able to book a Norwegian Fjords cruise with her. Would definitely use Trailfinders again.

Breffni from the Dublin office was our guiding light over the last year helping us book our honeymoon. Because of covid we had to make several fundamental changes over months. Breffni was the best person we could have dealt with for this. Not only was she absolutely on the ball, thinking of all sorts of logistics to consider such as the city closing down for Greek bank holidays, to finding us the best hotels with amazing facilities should the country go into lock down while we are there. On top of her absolute attention to detail and organising skills, she was also EXTREMELY lovely to deal with and by the end of it I felt as though we were old friends! She was so personable, friendly, considerate I could go on. We had an amazing honeymoon and it was all due to breffni and trailfinders. We will definitely be booking with them again

I normally don't write reviews but in the case of Trailfinders I must make an exception. We traveled with them to Melbourne four years ago and we were due to travel to Vancouver to visit a daughter recently. Covid-19 intervened. We were most pleasantly surprised with their courtesy and attention in this period. We would have no hesitation traveling with them again.

Great service from start to finish. Very friendly and professional staff. Owen was our original agent and was very helpful. Booked our honeymoon through trailfinders as great service and couldn’t find better value. Unfortunately due to Covid it was cancelled, leaving us very unsure what was going to happen. Trailfinders were great again, lots of communication and provided plenty of options. Looking forward to booking with them next year!
