Lovely beach. Be warned, the car park can only fit a handful of cars and then it parking on the road which can get very packed on a good day.

Nice isolated beach in this area, can get busy on weekends in nice weather but generally can be very quite for a nice walk compared to other beaches in the area. I've stayed on this beach in a tent, made a fire and did some beachcasting and myself and my friend didn't see another person for the whole day. Your not supposed to do that but no one will say anything. There are public toilets here but not sure are they open all the time.

Went to this beach just in recent days & although, it was a bit of a tight squeeze coming down the boreen style roads in a pick up truck, it was totally worth it! The views are absolutely stunning 😍 I'm so happy my boyfriend found this little gem for us to check out during our holidays. Although we got there late, the water was beautiful to paddle away in & walk through.

Lovely beach, seemed safe for kids with shallow water. There are toilet facilities and a small car park, although it was full we could easily park on the side of the road. Plenty of rocks to climb for the kids and they loved it. No shops or anything within walking distance so bring food etc. if needed.

This is a beautiful isolated beach, great for walks and relaxing. Also good for children with lots of shallow water and plenty of rock pools. The western end can be quite a sun trap on cool crisp winter days.

Very nice beach but get there early. Sitting on a blanket with buckets and spades is a thing of the past now its blow up seats tents tables folding chairs gas burners kettles and the kitchen sink. Crazy stuff.🤪

Beautiful sandy beach entrance is a bit restricted would be hard for wheelchair users or disabled people to negotiate. Public toilets one toilet cubical out of order due to broken toilet bowl and one sink wasts a lot of water as it's hard to turn off the tap. Rubbish bins overflowing as usual Councils not doing their jobs properly or diligently. Beautiful long sandy beach safe for everyone including children parking unfortunately is very restricted room for roughly 9 cars.

Long time with my friends we visited Ardmore beach but close to town. This part we discovered only couple of days ago. There is not much space for parking there only for about 10 cars but nice sandy beach that you have to walk towards. If you decide to stay you'll have to bring all you belonging with you. Good thing about this place that you park beside public toilet. Would advise to go down and enjoy lovely Irish sea no matter what weather be 😉

Beautiful and peaceful. Very poor parking when busy. Toilets well maintained if the building is a bit rough. Rocks are large enough for shelter from the wind. Rockpools galore to explore at both ends of the beach. Most of the beach is pure sand. Beach suitable for swimming, body boarding and surfing. Beautiful clay cliffs. Fantastic views of Ardmore.
