Lovely spot for fishing, but would not bring kids or dogs, there fishing hooks left lying around, my dog got one in his foot

Such a lovely relaxing spot to go for a short stroll or sit with nature. Very popular for walking dogs. Lots of geese ducks and swans lurking around. So beautiful

Lovely area, but really spoilt with an extreme amount of dog litter on every path, such a shame people dont pick up after their dogs. Lake not for swimming and picnic area was totally overgrown when we visted today

Geese, ducks, swans all flapping their wings around these lovely lakes! Great place to come and have a walk with the doggos or as part of a family. There are lovely trails here where you can wander through on soft bogland. Our dogs loved it! It's very accessible, though the one thing I would say is the entrance is a little hidden from the road so be sure to keep an eye out for a hidden turn! There were people in swimming as well (we didn't brave it!) so might be a nice place to pop in for a little swim.

Absolutely beautiful, especially in this current heatwave.. Going there for a swim today 30 degree heatwave. Check the lake floor as its on a bog could be dangerous..be cautious!!
