My Daughter started dancing at the age of 4 with a RAD teacher, she had reached a point where she was good (we thought) but she decided that she would like to be a professional ballerina and wanted us to look for a full time school that taught dance as part of the curriculum - she mentioned many and had done her research. We decided we would find the best in Ireland (as abroad was not on my radar just yet!!!) To see if this was truly what she wanted. I did, what you probably did, googled best ballet school in Ireland, Monica Loughman Elite Ballet came up. I won't lie, it is a trek for us to travel to but we did and I can not put into words how this has transformed our daughter as a dancer. The technique, the energy, the time and the patience, the sheer love of her craft, Monica gives everything to her students from the "newbie" in the class ( which you would never feel like as the students made my daughter welcome from the very beginning) to the long standing students awaiting their visa to Russia or other schools around the world. I honestly believe you can not get better training for the professional world of ballet than with Monica. It's a whole different level of ballet to what I would have seen prior to the performances and shows that my daughter has participated in with Monica. If this is your or your daughters dream I would highly recommend you join these classes, you will never look back.

My daughter joined the full time course with Monica Loughman Elite Ballet in January and she loves every class and is always early as she can't wait to get to class. Monica is so kind, patient, creative and works so hard to get the best out of every student. The attention to detail is amazing and my daughter is quickly growing in ballet confidence. She is getting ready for her first show with Monica and is really enjoying the summer school with Romas Ceizaris, Monica and Lauren and the rehearsals for the show. She has made so many lovely friends and everyone including her other teachers Lauren and Agata are so supportive. She comes out of every class telling me something new that she has learned. Monica fosters a love of everything to do with Ballet and generates a creative, professional, hardworking, enjoyable environment.

I’ve been dancing with Monica since I was 15, about 7 years now. I had been doing ballet for about 2 years before this but when I came to Monica to try a class I was so overwhelmed by all of the things I didn’t know that seemed to be second nature to everyone else. Monica is a wonderful teacher and her attention to detail is impeccable. After just a couple months of full time I already felt like I was catching up and I learnt so much everyday, I’m still learning! With Monica I’ve had the opportunity to learn from teachers from both the Vaganova and the Bolshoi, we even took trips to St. Petersburg Russia! I cannot recommend Monica Loughman Elite Ballet enough! The studio is wonderful, all of the teachers are trained to the highest standard and explain everything so clearly, the students are lovely, helpful and welcoming. It’s a lovely environment to learn ballet ❤️

I attended the studio during a short period of time I was receiving a course at the Trinity College Dublin. I needed to non stop my training, since I would have performances and reharsals when coming back to Spain, from where I come and where I live. The studio is perfect for ballet lessons and the combination of teachers, techniques and exercises during lessons is great to keep you in form and to solve doubts and continuously learn! Besides, all the students are really kind and the ambience to learn is really helpful and stunning! And what about Monica? She is really keen on every single student, she gives really good tips and is honest and encouraging with everyone! Moreover, she makes ballet learning easy to be, exciting and makes you enjoy every class! And Jodie? My kids started with RAD teacher, but after dancing for a few years with little to no progress we where recomended to try Monica's school and I couldnt be happier. So profesional,loving,caring I could go on...but I will say my kids fell in love with balet again and they can dance, not only learned positions they started dancing. The school is realy friendly and kids are nice and supportive to each other. I couldn't recomend Monica's school enough.
