This is the most incredible walk I’ve ever done and is a must if in the area. The views were spectacular and the route was so varied with different terrain to walk on. If hot, go swimming in the river and I would recommend if doing the white route, walking it clockwise so you get the hill out the way first!

This trail is sooooooo beautiful and so worth it!!! Make sure you have a good condition, as it's 10km in total and it goes really up on the mountain with a height difference of 450m according to Strava. But oh my is this a beautiful trail with a wonderful view on the Glendalough lake. Wear good hiking boots, as the wooden steps can be slippery when it's rainy as well as the big rocks next to the waterfall/river that's going down to the river. That's quite the climb, but really gorgeous!! One of the most beautiful trails and pure nature I've ever seen. I felt like I was on the lord of the rings movieset. Down in the valley near the waterfall, you will find the old miner's village. Right before the lake there's a car park with toilets which are really well taken care of. Ireland is amazing!

Great walk. Done this one clockwise in around 3.5hrs with a 20 min break. Great views over the lake.

This is a wonderful trail full of stunning views of the valley. You can also see interesting places on the way like St Kevin's Bed and Miners Village. The whole walk took us around 4 hours with two kids and several stops. I recommend stronger shoes and a bottle of water. If you walk in the summer you can find plenty of blueberries on the top.

This walk will reward you with great views of the Upper lake from above. It is a bit hard at the begin while going up through the forest, easier later when it opens up. Might be a bit muddy in some parts even during the summer

Brilliant experience, the only thing is I done it at night time for the Glen of Imaal mountain rescue but would be amazing during the day time
