Went to this restaurant with the normal expectations. However, the food tasted below average and most of all frustrations, they made us wait 45 minutes to an hour before they served us any dish of a 3 course meal. Despite of requesting them several times, they did take their own sweet time, which is 45 min to an hour to put food on our table. An awful experience and wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I had a delightful experience at Zizzi, Liffey Valley. Its a lovely Italian restaurant! We ordered Vegetarian thin crust pizza and fondue board. The fondue board was exceptionally tasty, the quantity was enough for 2 people. The ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the visit enjoyable. The prices are reasonable making it a perfect dining choice. Highly recommended!

A little disappointed there was no pizza at all on a Monday bank holiday and the calamari were super rubbery :( carbonara and the avocado chicken salad were delicious and the staff were very nice. Overall lunch for 3 was good but €90 without any alcohol. So quiet dear

To long waiting time, waitress doesn't come to the table to ask if we need anything. One of the staff was very rude. We waiting 45min for desserts. Wasn't great and also not the same as in menu. I ordered drink I got a different one. Not a good experience at all. Only rustica pizza was great. Never come back to this place.

We just went there, I am foodie, we ordered drinks and we just the fried pasta for FREE! So yum! “A must try”. We ordered the calamari (I never tasted anything like it!) I had the pancetta and chorizo pasta and my son had the children pizza, everything was so good, nothing I could say not. Thanks to Moya for an amazing service and chefs for amazing food!! Very innovative! Even the activities for children was good 😊 Last photo: desserts: for sorbet lovers ❤️

Not to generalise or anything personal but my experience tonight was terrible in this restaurant. As we ordered vegan meat balls, they were hard like rock to eat, when asked the waitress and chef, said it is this way. Garlic bread was ordered with cheese and it came without cheese. Wrong pizza was served and then again after the waitress apologised got another pizza after long wait. We ordered two drinks which were never to arrived if not requested again. Male toilets were totally uncleaned and not able to use in that condition, when we complained, got the answer that we couldn’t check after it was cleaned in the morning. Lastly when paying cash, were told we do not have refund available so kindly pay exact amount or pay by card. To be honest it was not a good experience with my family.

I tried to book a table over the phone on Sunday - the phone was not answered. We got a table as a walk in on Tuesday afternoon no problem. The food was not great. The folded pizza was undercooked (raw crust). Pizza filling was nice. The salad did not have enough dressing on it (just a tiny bit in one corner). There was not much food on the salad either - only the leaves, so it would not really fill you. The pasta was not salted. There was no salt nor pepper on the table either and it was very hard to get attention of the staff. There was no cheese offered with pasta and nobody ever checked on our table. The wine tasted watery but you get quite a large glass of it.

Rude staff , dessert not as same as in menu ( very poor ) waiting time very loooooong … , we wanted to share a bill, waitress said to us to take our phones out and calculate it ourselves. It was disgraceful!! The only tasty thing was a pizza.

Took 3 hours to have 3 courses. Service incredibly slow when not busy and staff rude. Had to ask for dessert menus after waiting 45 mins. Waiter threw them on the table at us. 2 in our party gluten free. Both up all night sick - cross contamination or food not gluten free when stated. Was meant to be a nice Christmas dinner with the girls and just was awful.

They have a nice starters, that's the only thing for plus. I ordered pasta and it turned out it's not even home made. Had to wait 10 min for coffee and it was barely warm not hot. Ordered glass of water but after 10 min waiting finally had to bring On my own. Not the best experience.

4 stars because the gluten free pizza wasn’t available yesterday when I was there. But the place is lovely, waitresses are friendly. We had a delicious and giant calzone that really worth the price. Lasagna was good as well but small compared with the calzone.

Returned to Zizzi after quite a while and had a lovely experience. The cheesy garlic bread was moreish and the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli was delicious. My wife was also recently there with a large group of friends and has commended the level of service. All the staff were super friendly but she mentioned Katie in particular as someone who went above and beyond. Would return!

It wouldn't take much to bump up to 4 or 5 stars. The staff and service were great and the food presentation was wonderful. Unfortunately the taste left too much to be desired, as in it was pretty bland and uninspired. For pizza and pasta this place has very much positioned itself in the premium segment as far as price is concerned and to support that position, everything has to be really good. Need to make the food taste as nice as it looks and then I'd be happy to return.

Decided to go here after my previous experience several months ago was very bad. Back then, the servers had no clue who was doing what section, and we would get different servers constantly coming up to us asking if we needed to be served. Likewise, My recent trip has only proven that these issues are still very much present. We had a different server for each round of food and drink ( starter, main and two drinks each) at one point the person who I believe to be a manager ( she was in the pink top and leggings) off some sort took our plates and before she even finished her own sentence she was gone. Also seen the main chef handling money and then going back to cooking without cleaning his hands. I got a pasta dish and it was completely tastless. No taste of garlic or anything. It felt as if the pasta had been cooked, left to cool then reboiled when needed. Extremely bad taste. It also took us 22 minutes to get someone to ask for the bill then another 15 for the actual bill to arrive. I wouldn't mind but we were seated at the main walkway for the servers but none seemed bothered to serve us. Very bad experience and would not recommend at all

Very disappointing. Understaffed. Very slow service. We were going to have dessert and coffee but decided not to because everything was taking too long. We were waiting ages for our bill so we could leave! The food was not great. It looked and tasted like it was from the freezer not freshly prepared. The calamari was NOT calamari! We were sorry we didn't just go to Eddie Rockets right next door, but that's what we'll do next time!

If you are starving or are staring to get hungry definitely don’t go there. For starter alone we were waiting for over an hour. The starters were far from good but that happens I guess it’s just starters so we didn’t care too much. But then after another god knows how long we got the mains which were even worse… my pizza was both burnt and cold in the same time. And it’s not even that it got cold while I was eating it - no - it came cold. My moms pasta was 30% pasta, 30% sauce and 40% fat and oils… we didn’t want to say anything so we wouldn’t end up waiting for another hour+ at that point we just wanted to go home. Even the desserts took like half an hour and they are literally pre made and the tiramisu was literally an uneven square cut out slapped on a plate barely standing up as it was falling apart so even the desserts were nothing but a disappointment. The staff seemed nice I guess although nobody asked us once if everything is good if we need anything else the receipt isn’t even handed on a plate or in a booklet or anything just slapped on the table which even in the pubs you get some presentation. The open kitchen definitely looks good at first glance but not when you can see the chefs touching everything with their hands (phones, bins, drink cans, aprons, faces, scratching themselves etc) and then handling food with these hands. Even when I worked in the deli years ago if we touched anything with our hands that would have to go to the bin but they were moving pizzas out of the over with bare hands(pinching the crust), rearranging it on the board, then throwing receipts ONTO the food I honestly don’t know how the HSE didn’t raid the place yet? I understand we are all humans, we all want to be at home not working, we all wanna doss around and are not perfect but when you are in an open kitchen you have to really be careful as everyone can see you? I try not to leave bad reviews but just this whole combination of things made it probably one of it not THE worst experience I had in a restaurant? Not to mention I barely got home and made it to the bathroom to get sick and I swear I’m not even exaggerating - my mom came back to her house still hungry and I came back home full but puking my guts out. Don’t think I’d be back in Zizzi even if the food was free or someone paid me to go there.

Today was our fourth visit to Zizzi, and probably the last! We ordered two 3-course meals. The starters were good, followed by cold pizzas and a very disappointing dessert platter for two. The dessert platter had pizza bread sticks with powdered sugar, two tiramisu biscuits, white chocolate chips, two half waffles, two chocolate fudge, and caramel and chocolate dipping sauce. It wasn't worth it at all, we didn't feel like eating that as dessert, so got it packed for take away. It felt more like their leftovers. It's surprising to see how their food quality has reduced significantly over time!

Lovely spot for lunch with kids. Kids menu was great value when you add the fries (option to add to kids meals for 65cents!). The sharing platter to start was lovely. One adults meal was a bit on the small side but overall a nice experience with a very friendly waitress. They also just gave us jugs of water without us even asking. Good value and nice food

Nothing special. Food overpriced for the quality. I got the squid for started what was way overcooked and too salty and the irish crab tortellini, what did not have enough crab for the price of it, and also way salty. The mock tail I got was warm and did not had much taste. The service was slow, but the German waitress was really kind and helpful. Too loud and tables to close, could not even have a conversation.

Food was not as good as you expect from an Italian restaurant. Too much salt. Service was great. Rachel, the waiter was looking well after us.

We had dinner here over the weekend. It was extremely busy but the waitress Katie really looked after us even though it was crazy busy. She was very attentive and organised everything for us. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back :)

Very beautiful ambience and good food. The bestseller mocktails were the best. Highly recommended. Table services were nice. A must try Italian food and drinks. Loved it!!

Amazing Grace our gorgeous waitress saved the day! She is by a mile Zizzi's greatest asset. A very well named lady indeed ... and when the food wasn't as ordered she corrected it immediately! Thank you Grace you are so present and happy in an otherwise confused and unattended place ...

Average compared to the other Zizzis, got the order wrong. Food was bland and overcooked. Soggy af pasta

Friendly attentive staff, the place seemed clean, the glass washer must need a clean though as both glasses where dirty and every piece of cutlery needed a polish. The food was ok, the garlic bread was very salty. I couldn't really fault anything but I also can't say I can't wait to go back. The bathroom need more attention.

Meal was good but no checks on covid pass surprised us. When we mentioned this they cleared an area around our table. Pity as food was great buy we sought to get out ASAP after we got out meal, didn't stay for desert or coffee

We had lunch here recently before we went to the cinema. Our Covid passes were scanned and we were given a table well away from other diners. My companion went for the 2 course menu and I chose the vegan option - jackfruit chorizo pizza. I'm not vegan or even vegetarian but I was very interested in finding out what jackfruit was like. Our waitress kindly gave me a little bowl of the jackfruit "meat" to sample before I committed to the order. It was very tasty and so was the pizza. The food portions were generous. And we both enjoyed ourselves. It wasn't cheap but it was a nice lunch. We will probably go back another time.

Nice restaurant. Good atmosphere. Calamari Starter very small. Prawn Linguine very tasty. I ordered a Cappucino and would expect a freshly made one for €3.95,but what i got was instant like it was out of a packet-yuck.

Not an enjoyable dining experience. We were never asked if we were fully vaccinated and no one asked to check our certificates. Staff seemed overwhelmed with how busy it was. I had to ask 3 different servers for water as it wasn't provided. We were waiting over a half an hour for 3 pizzas. Food was overpriced and didn't taste as nice as you would expect. Not a restaurant I would recommend.
