I have been going here for years and enjoy the food but when I was greeted at the door with an arm into the stomach by an aggressive staff member, I was shocked to say the least. What type of establishment lets Staff do this. This guy had no mask and was uncomfortably close to my face. He then told me they were closed, and I was trespassing.Won't be returning!

Tasty Asian Street Food that gets very busy at peak hours (expect a 10 minute wait, typically from 5-7pm midweek, but there is a waiting area at the back, also be ready to share the long table in the middle with other guests if you cannot get an individual table). The food was lovely and portions were good value for money. There are is a selection of wine (Merlot at €7.50 for a glass is particularly nice and went down well with the Singaporean Noodle). To top off the culinary experience you get a customary ice cream cone. However, the unavailability of sprinkles or other additions for the vanilla ice cream was disappointing.

The food is pretty good and average price for Dublin. Lots of variety and vegetarian options. The not great rating is mostly about the way too excessive use of disposables when you are eating it. Not only does it kill a bit the dinning experience but it a crazy amount of waste generated without need since you are eating in and there are other options. In a group of 4 we spent 12 disposable boxes plus the normal dishes we would have had in the first place. All up, good experience, but do take care of the waste per user ;)

The food here was lovely but it's not something I would write home about. It was extremely overpriced for what it. You have to go to the counter to order and pay which was not the greatest It did have a trendy feel to it and was kinda cool. Overall experience everything was nice but there are so many amazing restaurants in Dublin this was forgettable to me. And you have to stand out to get a return from me.

One of the best Asian food I have had in Dublin. The quality, taste is amazing. You need to go to the till to order and then be seated. Good atmosphere, songs played are not loud 👍. The staff is very helpful. You also get free (I hope unlimited) icecream with every meal as they have a vanilla soft serve machine placed right in the middle. I must say the quality of the icecream was one of the best I have had as well. Will totally visit again and highly recommend this place for thai or Chinese food.⭐️

Absolutely delicious!! Ice cream cone comes with each entree. Everyone enjoyed the food (I can definitely recommend the sweet and spicy Thai chicken!). Only downside is seating can be tough in the small space but they make it work. If you have to do takeaway, the food is good enough that it works.

First time in Dublin and I was very satisfied fr the food! You have very nice things to try to eat and at the end you can get as much ice cream as you want from the machine! The staff is also super nice and friendly

Neon is a really nice place. Huge amount of thai food - quite ok. When you order a main meal, you get a ice cream con. The main disadvantage - getting food in boxes when you eat onsite. After that you can put meal into bowl.

Neon was a great change of pace and had some really fun food. High quality again dishes and great service. The green curry was a surprising star of the meal. Glad we were able to find this spot to enjoy.

Nice place to try. The starter box for 2 people is well worth a try. I then tried the Tom yum soup but I felt it was a tad salty for my palette. Nice touch with the free ice cream cone 🍦

Great for a quick casual asian fusion bite. Had a lunch special for EUR 11.50, main + side + drink + ice cream. Clean 5/5, personnel 5/5, food 4.5/5. Would recommend if you are in the area and want something fresh and quick.

I have eaten here many times - the lunch special is excellent. Great value and good quality asian food. If you request spicy/hot - you get that unlike many other similar places. Defintely worth it!

For lunch, we ordered tamarind duck, fried rice sweet chilli chicken and vegetable stir fry. The duck was both tender and tasty though the tamarind flavours weren’t particularly as strong as I’d like them to be. The sweet chilli chicken was delicious too especially paired with their fried rice. The vegetable stir fry, while tasty, was missing a bit of umami and I would have preferred them just a tad bit more caramelised. The free ice cream was highly appreciated especially since there was a heatwave when we went. Overall, Neon is a wonderful spot for food!

Used to love this place, don't order takeaway very often but this was my go-to place. Curries were full of fresh meat, crisp veg, spicy sauce. Now they fill the Thai curries with potatos, soggy veg and overcooked rice. What we just received was basically unflavoured, watery potato with bland curry sauce over it. Such a shame they abandoned their old recipes. Really bad food.

Food is nice, nothing too fancy. Regular Asian food with choice of rice or noodles, only main difference would be that there is an ice cream machine inside that you can use for free after your meal. Good price.

Gorgeous food and a great selection, nice vibe, and OK service. I always try to come here when I'm in Dublin, and it's always such a nice experience. I really love trying a new dish each time I visit, and I never leave disappointed. Try to be early to get a table!

Very good ! Especially the pork ribs, amazing ! I would’ve appreciated to receive the food in a plate and not in a paper box, but the food was delicious

I recently had an incredible experience at Neon Asian Food in Dublin. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I can't get enough of their noodles soup with prawns—it's a flavor explosion! The prawns are always fresh and plentiful, and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Every bite leaves me wanting more. The best part? The prices are totally reasonable considering the quality and generous portions. While Neon Asian Food provides porcelain bowls on the table, they still serve everyone in disposable containers, even for dine-in. It would be great if they could rethink this approach. By serving directly in the bowls, we could reduce unnecessary packaging waste and make a positive impact on the environment. Aside from that, I must mention the complimentary ice cream they offer. It's a sweet surprise that adds an extra touch of delight to the dining experience. To sum it up, Neon Asian Food is a must-visit spot for its incredible food, friendly service, and cozy ambiance. While there is room for improvement in terms of sustainability, it's still a fantastic place to satisfy your taste buds.

The food was excellent and you get an ice cream with ever meal. The food is served in to-go containers with a bowl on your table. There are also doggy bags for leftovers. The ice cream is great. Overall an amazing place with such friendly staff

Very good. Dropped in at 8pm on a Saturday night not expecting to get a table but we were fitted in no problem. Ordered at the counter and food was out in about 5 or 10 minutes. Really tasty, ice cream desert was great and it wasn't horrendously expensive. Service was great.

Really nice place. The decor is very cool with exposed brickwork and cool lighting. The food was really great. I had the crispy beef with cashews and noodles. The portion was good and quality was great. We had some starters which were delicious too. The food came with a cone that you can use at the self service ice cream machine which is a nice touch. Overall a great place that I will be sure to return to.

We liked the noodles but the fried rice was okay and not great. It was sweet even though it had those 4 chilli icons beside it. Anyway, it’s a very minor thing. They give free ice creams so can’t complain much. Price of each dish was around 15-16 euros. I think if you order take away it’s slightly cheaper but not 100% sure about this.

I recently had the pleasure of trying their lunch menu, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. For just €11.5, you get a complete meal that includes a main dish, a soft drink, and a delightful ice cream, which you can even customize yourself. We tried crispy sweet chili chicken, neon chicken special fried rice, and pad Thai noodles. Each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. 😍😍😍

I have had two deliveries from Neon over the last few weeks and on both occasions the portion was half full. I complained but their staff said there was nothing they could do. €18 for half a portion and as it’s happened on more than one occasion, they seem happy to rip people off

Pretty well to be honest. Great portions. Rice as garnish is pure blend rice, but well cooked, which is good because the main has a lot of flavor and sauce which both combined are nice; I had the black pepper beef curry dish. As appetizer, and this is the only thing I found strange, had this basket like pork meat fried bags which are nice, but are tricky to eat, maybe I had them wrong eaten. Because the bag top of pastry is well closed making a pastry nest, all the frier oil got stuck there which is not pleasant to eat, took the decision to leave them to get a bit more cold and just took out the top of the baskets which is quite easy as they are super crispy. The content of the bags is pretty well done and the flavors are joyful, the mix with the sweet chili sauce is a good point, well played here. As an additional point, considering the price and location is a good place to have week lunch, recommended and I will come again for sure. Cheers!

I believe the overall rating in this case as an restaurant is way to far from reality. We orderee 4 starters, chicken was dry and the rips already cold. chickenwings are ok and tasty. Main dishes chicken and beed as well dryed out. Vanilla ice was good.

Stopped by for a late lunch when staying nearby. The food was delicious! It came out very quickly and we loved every bite. We remarked several times that we wished we lived nearby so that we could come back over and over. The staff was very friendly, and the dining room itself had a cool, kind of alternative/grungy vibe. Such a pleasant experience! I’ll be sure to come back next time I’m in Dublin!

Couldn't get into the other big Chinese restraunts on the street so decided to come here. I'm so glad I did. Food is much more reasonably priced and amazing. Couldn't fault it. Aromatic duck for 7.50 was the best! Staff are lovely and laid back, the interior is hip and fresh. No dessert menu but they make up for that with free soft serve ice cream. Sat there until closing enjoying our meal and never felt rushed. Food is served in to go containers but there are huge bowls on the table to put your food into if you prefer eating from dishes. Come here for Chinese on Camden Street, you won't regret it!

Read a lot of reviews complaining about the restaurant serving in boxes. I saw it as part of the experience. Great experience. Great service. Very friendly & generous staff. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be coming back!

Great place for lunch! They have a fantastic lunch deal which is priced very reasonably based on what you get. Main + Drink + Cone for €10.95 (Used to be €10!). Have been there a good few times and couldn't fault the food even once. The pad Thai and green curry are my go-tos. Service is quick and staff are friendly too. Just wished they had more seats but it is evident that they're already at full capacity which is a testament to how good the place is.

We had an awesome dinner at this hip restaurant ! Loved the decor and the food - pad Thai, the chicken skewers with peanut coconut sauce and kids fried rice were excellent. My favorite was the spicy lemony sauce that cane with the prawns- that sauce is 💯! Kids loved the make your own ice cream cone 🍦 that came with the meal 🙂 The staff was super nice too. We met this Brazilian Irish man who worked there that recommended some places to go on adventures, also he told us the chef and cooks at this restaurant are all from Thailand which is why the food is 👍👍!

Starters were good, noodles too, but meat based main dishes (duck and chicken) had too much sugar in them. It ruined the experience. Duck was indicated without chili, but there was some. A bit expensive too. Waiters don’t take the orders, you have to go inside for it.

Had such a great experience here. The food was excellent, and the free ice-cream at the end is a real treat! The atmosphere in the restaurant is unique and the staff were so helpful. Service was very quick. Definitely a place I'll return to!
