😐 Decent place for coffee or breakfast. Service is fast enough. Food is ok but not great. I had eggs benedict and the eggs were too hard (more like boiled than poached). The muffin bread was a bit stale. People often mention breakfast, good, Irish, service, staff, great, full, nice,

Absolutely fabulous place. Very comfortable and unstressed place to sit and eat. Our hotel was just next to it and we came here every morning to have breakfast. Can definitely recommend the „full Irish breakfast“. Also a lot of locals seem to come here which is usually a good sign. Prices are good and below what you pay at the usual tourist-traps.

If you are looking for Irish breakfast in Dublin, this would be it. The food was great and generous portion for sharing. Staffs were friendly and the atmosphere was great too. I would visit again in future!

Really had high hopes. Cute and cosy. But food disappointing. "EGGS BENEDICT- Smoked Salmon, Poached Eggs, Tomatoes, Hollandaise Sauce & Brioche Bun". Poached eggs yolks were hard not runny!! Would have been better served on a toasted muffin or even sourdough bread rather than the Brioche bun. Hollandaise Sauce needed help, And for unknown reasons Ketchup drizzled on the plate for Salmon ?? Sadly this breakfast didn't know what it was trying to be. I suppose easy to get away with in a tourist destination. 2* for the food. 4* for the actual cafe/staff. For that reason we skipped plans of going back the next day for full breakfast.

Just arrived in Dublin and looked up breakfast spots close to the hotel. This one didn't have many reviews but the ones it did have were good. Establishment was small and cozy with about 13 tables with about 5 taken by customers. We were greeted and shown to a table immediately by the friendly staff. I ordered the Eggs Benedict which was delicious. Portions were larger than other places I have been during this vacation and prices were very good as well. Definitely recommend as a stop for a quick and good meal.

The place doesn’t look like phenomenal from outside or even inside, not saying it’s dirty or anything like that but looks small from outside but enough space in. Tried the Irish breakfast and pancakes, both were good, welcoming team, both time the place was full, I I was served in a short time, by that I mean I haven’t been waiting 20 minutes. Price is correct for a classic breakfast. Will recommend.

Gosh what can I say about this little Cafe in the corner. Quaint, scenic, and best of all, very good food. I had the full Irish breakfast because why not and not only was it delicious, it started me on my long day to see the city!

Great place for a nice breakfast before a long tourist day full of sights and attractions. Speedy and great service. Tasty food and nice atmosphere. Also nice touch with hand painted drawings within the cafe, I'm assuming a Chinese Garden from what I could tell. Also Lilly was very welcoming so thank you.

Top quality food in the heart of Dublin City Centre. Recommend everything on the menu, located right next to our accommodation for our stay. Fish & Chips surprisingly one of the best around the area.

Stopped in for breakfast…nice little spot! Vegetarian options, smoothies, and a really good cup of coffee. Vegetarian breakfast was essentially Irish breakfast without pudding. Wife had the bap and enjoyed it except for the bun and crisps. Son had smoothie and pancakes, but didn’t like the syrup. Pretty good service too.

Great food, coffee, and friendly staff, in the heart of Dublin. Edit: I keep coming back here, the menu is really delicious, the Lily burger and steak sandwiches I highly recommend, as well as the full Irish breakfast in the photo. Matcha latte and the different coffees are very nice. Great location, very central to O'Connell St. Upper, and reasonably priced. Thank you!

The coffee was amazing and the food tasted great. The staff does not smile and gave minimal service. Otherwise it would get the 5 stars.

I stopped in for breakfast at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. Despite being quite busy, I was seated promptly. The server who took my order seemed very new and didn’t know the menu. I ordered a simple Avocado toast with salmon, Americano, and a tap water. The Avocado toast was fine. The poached eggs were lukewarm by the time they reached my table, but acceptable. Presentation was decent and the food tasted fresh. I ordered another Americano after flagging down my server. It never came. I tried for the next 25 minutes to get her attention, but she was apparently quite busy. When I went to pay, they wanted to charge me for both drinks, a bottle of water, and the food. I explained that the second Americano never came and the employee looked over to my table as though I was lying. I didn’t even bother explaining that I had tap water instead of a bottle of water, as that would have just been too much. I was offered an Americano to go, but I declined. I’ll leave my review summary as acceptable, clean, but busy and unrefined. Perhaps it’s worth a try on a day other than a Saturday morning.

Lily's Cafe is an absolute gem. Went there tonight because it had a great menu and it was close to our hotel. First and foremost customer service was first rate. When I told the gentleman working the counter that my wife had allergies he went to the chef. The chef talked to me about them and spiced the food to my order. We got the beef steak and chicken wings. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was tender and well seasoned. I got the large wings not expecting much for €12.50. I was wrong and it was a ridiculous number of wings. The large is definitely a sharing portion. They were also well cooked. Really happy I found this place and would totally recommend it if you are near Parnell Square and O'Connell in Central Dublin.

Cosy café with variety of breakfast options. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs & Hollandaise and added bacon. It was served perfectly cooked and still hot and crispy too. Personally I preferred the back of the café which has a more comfy atmosphere.
