Went in to buy the statutory fridge magnets for my campervan. Got into a discussion with (I think) the lovely lady owner. She recommended me to visit Carlingford and beyond. So fridge magnets in pocket went Carlingford bound. (I was the Australian)

This shop is on the larger side, but it's overflowing with both merchandise and staff. Despite the numerous staff members, their assistance was quite scarce. We lost count of the times they bumped into us or crossed our path while we were browsing for souvenirs – it was quite chaotic.

If you're a tourist this is where you want to buy your souvenirs, they also have an outlet on Liffey Street Lower (I think) if you want to save some coins.

Whether you look for Ireland coffee cups, leprechaun lollipops, Irish socks and underwear or a shamrock tshirt: Carrolls is the place to go! You'll find everything irish you need and the prices are affordable, too. It probably seems a bit kitschy or even annoying to the locals but I like it a lot!

Kip that is a typical scam shop selling over pried "Irish" gifts, dime a dozen shop. The staff are very rube and snobby. Who in their right mind goes to these shops? The fact that this is open says a lot about our society.
