Brought my daughter in here yesterday to look for a Halloween costume. We were looked after so well by a lovely girl who couldn't do enough for us and chatted away to my little girl. You don't get that very often nowadays

I've been to this shop about many times and it's a cool shop. It has lots of nice costumes, gifts and jokes. There was a small Halloween shop on the top floor and it used to be a bookshop. I saw a girl who dressed up as Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family and she looked great. By the way the staff are friendly.

Always a great experience when I enter this shop. The staff are so friendly, so knowledgeable and so creative, if you enter Fun Place with an idea you'll leave with a solution, the guys in there are really helpful. Whatever you need from make up, special effects, wigs, masks, fancy dress, parties, festivals, Halloween or any costume they will have it and their products are always such good quality.

Got my daughters balloons here on the 18th of may and they are still standing today. I paid €18 for the two great value. The girl that helped me was lovely and very helpful. I will definitely get my balloons here again.

The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. I recommend this place 100% plus they have a good supply of masks and costumes.

Greatest joke shop around, I always come here for my makeup and accessories for cosplays. Staff are wonderful and are always friendly and chatty. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time doing the treasure hunt. The kids had great fun finding the clues and enjoying the park. Our only downside was that when got to the end the shop was closed so we couldn’t collect our treasure. After a quick enquiry the team let us know it was covid related and couldn’t be helped. Thanks for a fun afternoon. Hope you’re feeling better now.

Website says opening times for a Friday is until 8pm. We arrived at 6:38 and there were a lot of people in the shop but they wouldn’t let us in as they said they were closing. We said the website says 8pm and they rudely said they were closing at 7 and couldn’t let anymore people in as the ones that were already in had to pay. Absolutely shocking how rude they were and we went all the way into town for nothing. Thanks Fun place! Keep up the great work!

Funplace staff are so helpful and accommodating. They sell the quirkiness of stuff 🥳 I loved having a browse definitely recommend if you want to impress on a fancy dress party or just for fun stuff in general 💯

Ordered a costume from fun place 10 days before Halloween as it offered next day delivery. 3 weeks later it still hasn’t arrived. No one answers the phone when you contact them and no reply to emails.

Great range of fever wigs. Have at least six ones all from Fun Place. Really affordable for the great quality you get. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. They also do online which is very handy for me when I can’t get into town!

Alex and all the staff at this fun shop are just the nicest people to deal with. I hope they get lots of custom because they treat their customers with courtesy, kindness and good humour and they don't rush you. I'm very happy with what I've bought and I hope to be back to buy more in the future.

Great shop. I bought a Halloween costume there and now things for Christmas. Really helpful staff. They have a great range of costumes and gifts for children and adults. I’d highly recommend

The first clue didn’t arrive we were standing in the park waiting and waiting with 4 children excited to do a treasure hunt. We went to fun place for help but the staff were very unhelpful saying it’s nothing to do with them. By time the clue came through it was raining and we were on our way home with upset children. Very disappointing. 4 young children their first memory of a treasure hunt is that it didn’t arrive, will stick to hiding chocolates around the house in the future at least it won’t let them down

The Spooky Treasure Hunt was a fantastic family event. It was really well planned and creative. We thoroughly enjoyed it and really loved the Fun Place display of spooky Halloween decorations in store at the end.

We did the free Halloween treasure hunt this year, organised by the Fun Place. It was such a lovely afternoon getting out and exploring Stephens Green, ending up finding the treasure at the spooky clown exhibition! Much appreciated and enjoyed by the whole family.

The queue to get into Fun Place was way too long for a 6 year old to queue to get the 'treasure'. It was winding it's way around the railing and around the other side on that floor. We even ate in the restaurant and it was still way too long after that. It was a pity as she enjoyed the treasure hunt up to then.

Website says it closes at 8. Arrived at 6:40pm. Wasn't allowed into shop. There was roughly eight people waiting outside and denied entry. Staff said they close at 7, and that nobody is allowed into shop for remaining 20minutes. So so infuriating.

Very packed not much stock at all I know it a day before Halloween but at least restock the shelfs to sell more

Fun place treasure hunt in Stephens Green highly recommended . Great activity to do with the family. My kids loved it specially when they found the treasure !

I was looking for a specific costume and the staff were so helpful in finding me all the accessories and they had a great range of special effects makeup to go with it too. Will definitely be back for my next fancy dress party !

Extremely poor customer service from managers in pop up shop in Blanchardstown: Purchased a wig last week, tried returning in Blanch pop up shop today. First team member (male manager) told us we could only return with proof of purchase. We returned later in day & spoke to second manager (female) - Provided purchase information to be informed that they do not accept returns on wigs - 2 completely contradicting statements from "managers". This was never informed to us while making purchase & there is no details on receipt indicating that store does not accept returns.

absolutely fantastic, orlaith has started make up classes when u purchase certain makeup packs ,fantastic idea my daughter had the best time doing creative makeup class , great range of all products,face paint,insta makeup ,wigs etc perfect if for shows ,comic con lovers or anime ,staff are extremely helpful and friendly knowledgeable about products etc
