Went to Sin é for a comedy gig and it was great. Really intimate setting downstairs, but with a great atmosphere and you're really close to the performers. The line up was all female and they were all brilliant. Don't sit in the front row if you don't want to be singled out for some remarks ☺️

Terrible Service, we ended going up trying to enter but bouncer turned up down because according to what he said "we were from London". He turned us down because he had a bad experience in the past with Londoners. We hadn't in-taken any drink, weren't rowdy.. however refused us entry. I seriously wouldn't recommend to anyone travelling across from the United Kingdom.

We went to a free comedy night here, Crash and Burn, and it was a blast! Becky Cheatle was the highlight for me, she was hilarious! Very intimate setting downstairs, I'd come early if you want to get a seat!

A lovely bar with very sound staff and a generally jovial atmosphere. Though unfortunately I cannot really recommend it, due to what I see as a certain amount of negligence from management. In November 2021, a few friends and I were enjoying a few pints. Lit candles had been placed above the seating, and wax at dripped down onto my friends coat, effectively wrecking it. The staff member was very helpful, he took her number and assured her that the pub would cover the cost of cleaning - though no such reimbursements have materialised. There was no argument or confrontation, the staff member was very apologetic and recognised my friends frustration. We really appreciated this, and left happy. Leaving aside the obvious health and safety risk of having hot wax dripping onto where people are sitting - this should never have happened in the first place, If some common sense H&S measures were taken - management’s lack of care for the damage of a customers property was quite disappointing. Lovely staff, a great atmosphere, but a negligent management.

This place is wonderful. The decor is darker, has different environments, is very cozy. I love the pints there, they are traditionally well served.

This is a great pub. Good selection of beers, which is always my priority. Great staff, great atmosphere and one of the best music venues in Dublin for unsigned talent. You should definitely check it out.

I love it here. From the entertainment to the bar folk to the crowd that comes here, it is second to none in Dublin. The comedy club is brilliant, with a variety of acts that will entertain anyone's taste in laughs and yucks. A fine selection of beers, spirits and everything in between. Can't say enough good things about this place. Treat yourself and drop in! Well worth your time!

Great bar with a basement. Was here for the Crash and Burn event and was amazing to see up and coming comedians try out new stuff.

Went for the Hysteria comedy night in the basement which was EXCELLENT! There was a live band playing upstairs as well, when I went upstairs to buy drinks I caught bits of the show - which was pretty great as well. The patrons upstairs were enjoying the music very much as far as I could tell. The bar staff were fantastic. Although it was a really busy night, I wasn't waiting long at all for my drinks. Bar staff still found time for a bit of banter - and made some drink recommendations even though there were so busy. Lagunitas on tap was a TREAT!

Oh dear. Went here for Friday night comedy show. No laughs to be had. Nothing more troubling than 'comedians' working through their own personal anxieties/ issues....stay home and watch the telly.

Great Guinness and great staff. It felt a very traditional bar, the staff wanted to talk to us and make sure we had a nice drink.

Avoid this place! We arrived at 8:32 pm and were asked to pay, while others entered for free. When I inquired, I was told it's the policy after 8:30 pm. Additionally, the staff was unpleasant and made it clear that we were bothering them. It was a very humiliating experience.

The pub is cool, nice alternative music with banda playing often. A bit pricey, tho. The main issue is the bouncer, who is violent, rude, disrespectful with women and moody; he keeps creating problems with the patrons. I wont come back till his fired.

Great spot, neon lit just on the quays. Had a stage at the back for live music and plenty of staff behind the bar and around the place. There was also a comedy show downstairs in their other room but we didn't manage to get in when we were there. They have Sierra Nevada on draught which was delicious! After all my years in Dublin, defo a spot I'll be back to.

Not my scene really but as far as pubs go it was fine. They played heavy metal or rock music. There was a live band. Toilets were perfectly functional.

Extremely rude and aggressive doorman on Friday night. He refused to answer the simple question of what time the bar closes at.

Great atmosphere, lovely place, sensual vibe, fun activities! Found it by chance on a Sunday evening, and they had a music bingo going on. We won a free drink! Absolutely recommend it ♥️ The staff is lovely! And the DJ is vibe goals!

Super nice pub, great atmosphere. Frequently you can meet new bands and up-and-coming singers here. it is always well attended by people who love music and want to have fun. the place has a well-stocked bar and, if necessary, a small kitchen for pizzas

Absolutely cracking, really helpful and friendly, kind bar staff if you aren't an annoying human., Come in here if you want nice bar people, a nice pint and to not feel like a tourist trap. Will be back, and as a regular when I have a place at Trinity College.

Loved the venue, outside of the usual temple bar crowd. Nice stage upstairs and nice comedy gigs downstairs which btw are hard to find having to go through the ladies bathroom door. Recommended if you wanna have a different night out

Lovely small intimate venue for some of the best blues/guitarists in the world! Enjoyed Pat Farrell and Mal O'brien band and they were beyond good. So good to enjoy some live music after so long...and the quality of the music is as good as it gets. Major admiration for the talent on the stage 👏👏👏👏👏

They have some nice craft beers available, and it's one of the rare bars you can find some Belgian beers.

Place was okay. Prices were high (€7 for a kopperberg). Vibe was okay. Comedy was funny. However they were very adamant for people to donate some money at the end as the event was free which ruined the experience.

Nice craft options, great bands, and nice location, but very negligent management. In November 2021, my friend was sitting in this pub. The staff had put lit wax candles over the seats, for some reason, and at a certain point we noticed her coat was covered in dried wax that had dripped down from the candle. The bartender was very friendly. He took her number, gave her an email address, and promised her that the pub would cover the cost of a dry cleaning. We left very happy, but lo and behold, once she emailed Sin É's management they completely ignored her. She never got the money back for the cost of cleaning her coat. With such an attitude towards customers, I definitely won't be visiting again, and I can't recommend anyone else go to this pub.

Very eclectic bar with good live music. Can get very loud at times but sometimes this is a good thing. Good setup for after work drinks being so close to town. A good selection of craft beers. Would recommend for one or two.
