    I absolutely love training at the edge & really look forward to my weekly sessions with James. I started training in The Edge many years ago I am still as dedicated to it as I was starting out. The Edge offers a lot more than the typical training session. The personal trainers are passionate about their clients. They are interested in your diet, health and overall well-being. It is usually the last place I want to go to after a busy day but I’m always guaranteed to leave smiling & feeling so much better than I did going in. Thank you to James & the team for everything you’re amazing!! xx

    This is a proper gym run by serious professional people. Impressive personal trainers. Hannah in particular, she helped to prepare me for the “Fan Dance” in the Brecon Beacons. She designed a program specifically for my requirements building to the event. Great atmosphere and friendly staff and clientele alike. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top class establishment.

    Fantastic small gym. The staff are really friendly and helpful, giving tips on nutrition and also on each exercise, gently pushing to get you fitter and stronger. I can’t recommend it enough … the classes and PT sessions have been great for healthy mind and a healthy body.

    Hannah is an excellent trainer & these classes are such a great life line for new mums! Hannah is very knowledgeable on postpartum & what’s appropriate to do or not do. I have thoroughly enjoyed connecting with other mums at these classes & you also feel the benefit of a real work out too 💪

    Great spot - I go to a small group personal training class in Clontarf once a week. The trainers we’ve had are all excellent and very professional - esp Liam and Hannah our regular trainers. Good vibes and staff obviously all enjoy working here. Would recommend

    The mammy and buggy classes are brilliant. Hannah makes sure you get a proper workout and even holds your baby so you don’t miss out. It’s a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and not a bit intimidating. I look forward to it every week.

    Great small group sessions in a challenging yet encouraging and friendly environment. Would totally recommend it to anyone interest in getting into exercising and lifting weights. Liam is a fantastic coach with a lot of experience and patience!!

    The Edge Clontarf is an extremely unique workout experience. Their small group numbers, friendly staff and variety of classes make it feel like a community. I have been attending SGPT with Liam for six months and you couldn’t ask for a more knowledgable, inclusive and friendly trainer. He caters workouts to the needs of individuals in a nonjudgmental and extremely supportive manner and encourages everyone to work to the best of their ability. Can’t recommend enough!

    A great gym with really knowledgeable, friendly trainers. There is a fantastic atmosphere and there is something to suit every level. The Small Group Personal training is so enjoyable, every session is different and it’s a really fun and motivating way to train. A big thank you to coach Liam for all the fun (tough!) sessions.

    I started at The Edge when I was 7 months Postpartum. After a difficult pregnancy, followed by a C-section, my fitness, strength and confidence were at an all time low. I needed a professional to help me get back to my old self and thankfully I was assigned Kevin as my PT. It has been over a year now since I joined the gym and Kevin has been with me every step of the way. His advice, support and professional expertise are unparalleled. He always goes out of his way to make sure I am getting the most out of each training session, whilst keeping the experience enjoyable and fun! The gym itself has such a friendly atmosphere; a testament to the lovely rapport shared between staff and clients. There’s nowhere else I’d rather train 💪🏻

    I have trained on and off in The Edge Clontarf for the past decade. The workouts, atmosphere, support and encouragement I have received in the past 10 years has been second to none. The most valuable thing I have received training here is an education on nutrition, exercise, sleep, supplementation and how to be the best version of myself. Thanks to James and the other trainers instilling their knowledge and expertise to me, I now have a formula which I can reapply as soon as life has gone pear shaped, or I have packed on the pounds and don't feel myself, which gets me feeling great soon after. I always feel at home, and that I am doing what I need to be doing for my health when I train here.

    I’ve been in the Edge gym now for almost 11 months. The team are great, so welcoming and even for someone like me who started from zero fitness and never lifted any weights before they made sure I was comfortable while always pushing me to improve. I started off with a personal trainer (Mark) who was so encouraging and patient by taking the time to show me how to use all the machines and weights properly. I built up my fitness and confidence and more recently joined the classes which I am loving. There’s a lovely atmosphere in this gym, and it’s clear that the team love what they do and that is passed onto their clients, highly recommend!

    I had a great experience with the crowd in Edge. I had Hannah as a trainer and she was excellent and so easy to get along with. There is no atmosphere of pushing too far, it very much felt like a team effort to improve my limits without trying to over extend. We talked about what I wanted out of training and worked towards those goals. Excellent routines and brilliant advice. They were very understanding and flexible when I needed to change plans due to work. Can highly recommend.

    Hard to believe the progress I have made with Hannah over the last 10 weeks! Hannah has been great from the start- she took on board what I was looking for and created a work out plan that suited my fitness level. I really look forward to my sessions because Hannah has created a program where I can safely push myself in the areas that I have become comfortable in while introducing new exercises to keep me moving forward. Hannah has been so positive and encouraging during our sessions. I always leave the sessions feeling so good!

    Discovering The Edge was what brought me onto a wonderful 10 year journey of wellbeing for so many reasons. Within my first year of training, it was suggested that I pursing a DEXA scan, which showed osteoporosis in my spine. Working with my GP, the trainers developed a program and my osteoporotic conditions regressed. Another issue I had was my lumbar spine, which needed a lumbar fusion and rehabilitation from my trainers at the Edge. I have regained my strength and now am an addicted gym bunny. My trainers James and Kevin have a wealth of knowledge and keep me in safe hands with a mix of mobility, load bearing for my bone mineral density and other menopausal symptoms.     Cannot recommend The Edge highly enough. I was a regular gym goer for three years but no longer achieving results. Then I started training with Kevin at The Edge, who overhauled my training routine, introducing new techniques and approaches. I’m delighted to say I’ve made great progress, particularly in strength, beating my personal bests and way surpassing my expectations. Kevin is dedicated, reliable, and knowledgeable. Also, good craic. My sessions are always challenging but Kevin keeps me motivated and at my best. I would (and have) recommend Kevin to a friend.
