Airlink Express

Transportation service Airport shuttle service Bus company

😠 Worst travel experience to get to an airport ever. We had to wait for more than one hour to get on a bus which was said to go every 10 minutes. Paid 14 Euro for two... next time we take a taxi, as I don't see that Dublin will ever decide to have a modern transport system and build a TRAIN connection... People often mention Airlink, airport, service, Dublin, minutes, time, late, city, stop, public,

Airport to city service sucks. Peak time, Friday night, not one bus in 45 mins if waiting for the 747 despite the sign telling me it's 5 mins away, for 45 minutes. Utter balls. Took 55 minutes to show up at 6.06pm. AVOID

The bus does take you to the city center. In my case, the driver was extremely unpleasant. I only had a few hours between flights to see the city and he didn’t inform me that I could buy a two-way ticket for 12€ when I’d bought separately they cost 14€. When I approached him five minutes later asking if it was possible to trade for a two-way ticket (the information is displayed on the tv on the bus) he told me aggressively that it was too late and that it wasn’t his job to give information to passengers. I can understand that it might really be impossible for him to change my ticket but I was polite, said please and thank you, and his attitude was so unpleasant during all our exchanges it inspired me to write my first ever online review.

Waited over 30 mins for bus at airport. Driver on out and return visits interaction and shouting at tourists as if we stupid. Didn't like their attitude. Without our visits to Ireland they wouldn't have a job. So please just a little smile. We not stupid you just need explain the boarding process. Quietly

Best way to get to and from the airport to the centre of Dublin and at a very reasonable price which is way much cheaper than using taxis. There is a regular service plus there is plenty of room on the modern bus for all of your luggage. We would definitely use Airlink Express again when visiting Dublin again.

Quick service. Areas of improvement: Ridiculous system to receive 16-18 years leap card. Show up, verify ID and wait for the card for a week. Quite bizarre since student leap cards get printed on the spot.

Was waiting for the 7:30 bus to the airport from the Central Bus Station. We were just by the door, but in the building because it was windy and cold. The bus came and didn't stop cause he didn't see anyone standing at the station ( but we were literally by the door that are 2 meters from the bus stop), I was running for the bus but the driver didn't want to stop and was showing the next one is in 10 minutes. That next bus would maybe be too late for us and I didn't want to take a risk of missing a plane and we took a taxi. So, now I have an Airlink ticket in the pocket and a taxi bill coming up. If anyone needs 2 Airlink tickets for October the 8th let me know and I will gladly e-mail them to you. Airlink, thank you for the "lovely" experience.

The return fare from the airport is good value. The buses are modern and clean. Wifi worked. There is good route information and helpful stuff as soon as you exit the terminal building. My return bus from Dublin to the airport was very late 11th October 2021. Several of the passengers were complaining and some of the girls had to jump off the bus and run for their flight. Traffic? Or another issue? I don't know.

The Dublin bus should give the penalty for people put dirty shoes 👟 in the seat 💺. The same do when the people don’t top up leapcard. In Dart ( 🚆) have announcements about.

Would have given 5* if it wouldn't have been so unreliable with the times. the bus from the airport to the city left 4 minutes too early, which is nice when you are already in the bus, same happened on the way back the 757 left right before my eyes again too early, the 474 afterwards on the contrary arrived 10 minutes too late. Too late I get, no one can control traffic, but too early is really strange.

I’ve been holding off on posting a negative review because the drivers are so courteous and helpful, but I’ve had too many negative experiences now with this company to not voice them. At this point, I would strongly recommend for any visitors to NOT take Airlink, but to opt for one of the public buses instead. They do take longer, but in reality Airlink is so unreliable that you will save time and money. I’ve visited Ireland several times and have used Airlink for all visits. The bus leaving the airport is convenient enough – it picks up just outside the terminal and buses come frequently. However, the bus coming back is a different story. The last time I used Airlink, there was an event in the city center. The bus company did advise that certain routes would be suspended… but in reality ALL routes within walking distance were suspended, including the ones Airlink had advised me were running. Despite giving myself over two hours to get to the airport, I ended up being too late to even take a public bus after running around all over Dublin in the pouring rain with heavy luggage, only to find a chartered bus whose driver took pity on me and took me with him. Airlink buses were nowhere to be seen. I chalked this up to the disruptive nature of the event. However, on a trip this last weekend, the regular service for all stops near my hotel was suspended AGAIN. There was no scheduled event or reason, nor was I notified when buying my tickets. In fact, the customer service rep advised that I should be taking the stop which was suspended. I had to walk an extra twenty minutes to get to the closest stop, missing the bus I was going to take and losing any time that the Airlink offers as an advantage over the public bus in the process. This was happening right as Storm Ciara was wreaking havoc over the city, with snow, rain, and hail flying from every direction. The next regularly scheduled bus did not arrive as planned; many have already commented that the arrival times seem to be more suggestions than any real schedule and this true to my experience also. As I am done with arriving to the airport soaking wet, exhausted, and frazzled, I’m also done with Airlink. The public buses are perfectly fine and will get you to the airport in the same amount of time when you account for Airlink’s unreliability.

Airlink express, it stops all over Dublin if you get in at the incorrect stop. The name express may be misleading. You would expect point to point only. Regular bus is cheaper and faster

Bus late, totally stuffed, hot. Price too high compared to taxi

When your Dublin bus drivers who are not wearing masks tell us eho can't wear masks to out one on and then are demanding to see peoples medications on public transport infront of passengers its an invasion of privacy They plastic cover has holes in it where their own droplets can get through so they should all be wearing masks before they demand others to wear on especially those of us who cannot
