Recently came here with my gf for dinner. I was skeptical at first, but after eating just the starter I realised that the food was going to amazing. We ordered the vegetarian platter starter, which was really really good, especially the onion thing. Then, we ordered the main dishes, which were both really amazing!! So tasty! I’d highly recommend this place even if you don’t like Indian food. You won’t regret. As a side note, dishes are spicy, but manageable!

The attitude of the staff definitely needs attention. If you want to retain customers you need to look into the service level. We had some leftover food from our order and We requested the staff two times to pack the leftover food (which was actually enough for one meal) and they threw it away. When asked for an explanation, they said sorry can’t help it. When I pointed out that it’s a miss at their end, they didn’t seem to want to do anything about it. Just said sorry and moved on. The customer service sucks. I am never going back again!

On a two person table if you order a thaali each, the size of the fancy plates is so big that they don't fit on the table. Not an easy meal, but that's just detail. I wasn't too taken with the taste of food. On of the savoury vegetable curries was too sweet. On the good side, the starter tikki was good and the gulab jamun dessert was nice. Everything in the middle I didn't care for (veg thaali). The spicy chicken in the non-veg thaali was good apparently. A little too dear for the quality, so the thaali was not good value for money in my opinion.

One of the few places in Dublin where you can find better Indian food. They have good quality naan and good mushroom preparation. The veg biryani was bit of a disappointment as it had broccoli and it didn’t go well with the preparation. It’s a small restaurant and the manager seemed very helpful with the recommendations.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for delicious Indian food. I’d suggest to try these dishes for starters - Chicken Lollipop, Gobi Manchurian along with some mango lassi and top it off with kulfi. Courteous staff, and the wait time after ordering food is also less.

My husband and I spent 10 days exploring Ireland and the Delhi Rasoi in Dun Laoghaire absolutely blew us away. We were so impressed that we had to come back a second time. The food, ambiance, and customer service was outstanding. This was the best food we had during our ENTIRE trip. I cannot recommend them enough. Our favorite dishes were the Delhi Rasoi Special Thali (perfect if you love variety) and the chicken korma. We’ve never had chicken korma before, so this was a pleasant surprise! We’re looking up recipes to recreate it at home now that we’re back in the US. Thank you for the delicious food and memories! We will always have fond memories of Dun Laoghaire :-)

Very nice Indian place. We discovered it accidentally and really enjoyed the food. The service was very good. We tried different types of curries and they were delicious. Slightly spicy but manageable. Also naans where great. Really liked the place.

Good place for Indian food! We called in to reserve on a Sunday evening an hour before our arrival and we were accommodated! We had Vegetable Vindaloo, Mushroom Kofta and Veg Biryani for mains. All of them were good and made spicy as per our request. The mango lassi and breads were good as well. Portion size is: one dish for 2 light to moderate eaters. Staff is courteous. They provide good recommendations and allow for customisations.

We went to Delhi rasoi to celebrate a friend's birthday. We ordered their starters to begin with. They were seekh kebabs, paneer masala. We were also offered poppadoms and two chutneys to compliment the poppadoms. For the main course we ordered lacha parathas, garlic breads, Malai kofta, amritsari chicken and dal makkhani. All the meals were delicious and there was no meal that was left over. The overall food experience and the ambience was great. They deserve the five stars! Since it was my friend's birthday, she was also served a complimentary gulab jamun and all the staff, friends and people from the next table celebrated and sung birthday song for my friend. It was so lovely! The staff were very kind and sweet to us. They take care of the customers really well. If you are craving some delicious Indian food while taking care of your monetary pocket - you should definitely visit Delhi Rasoi. Please see the photos to relate to my story and enjoy the food visual and go visit this place.

Not worth visiting for dine-in. Potential for take away food. We went to Delhi Rasoi for a nice date night dinner and were utterly disappointed. We entered the place and were immediately seated between the large entrance and hallway although it was winter and there was a major draft. We asked for a different table but weren’t accommodated so despite other tables being empty in the back. Staff was friendly yet involve of providing decent level of service. Empty drinks were overseen and meals were rushed throughout the evening. Food itself was okay but the dining experience was dreadful. Not in a million years will I dine in there again. Not sure how the level of service was so bad there but your staff could really use some hardcore basic training. Maybe we will order takeout again if my favourite Indian restaurant is closed but other than that, there’s a lot of better places out there. Ps. The night ended with us sitting in the crowded dining room and having to give our card details via phone loudly because we were not told that their cad reading device was out of order beforehand. This was completely unacceptable and could have been avoided. Almost felt like a scam… not coming back!

Tried their indoor dining and take away food and I must say theres nothing better than getting the large food meal for 3, staying your pjs and eating delicious foods together at home. The price is cheaper when delivered, although the restaurant is decorated nicely and has good waiting staff. Would recommend the chicken korma for those who like low spice.
