Great spot for walkers. Car access should be restricted though. Can get busy with cars parking on path as well. Great views of Howth head and Dublin City from Our lady's statue.

Certainly an unusual, low lying bridge that leads you off the main thoroughfare at Dollymount onto North Bull Island. As the bridge originally catered for a different type of vehicle there is a traffic light system to allow vehicles to travel in one direction at a time. When travelling across the bridge to get a beautiful view across the smooth water towards Dublin Port on one side & down towards Clontarf, Sutton and Howth

Great, but too much traffic, and no way of knowing if parking available unless you cross the bridge. Then you have to turn around and go back. So annoying.

One of the best places to walk in North County Dublin. Great little coffee shop along the walk at Bull Island

A lovely bridge facing the poolbeg chimneys and harbour wall. For some reason you can't cycle up it despite being able to drive a motorbike from one end to another? Feels a bit backward.

Beautiful view from the bridge and the little island is amazing. There are different entrances, for men and for women. But you can also go together. Its an picturesque walk there and just amazing!

The single-lane Wooden Bridge leads over to the North Bull Wall and Bull Island at Dollymount. The wooden bridge was built in 1819 during the construction of the Bull Wall and was to be demolished after completion of the construction work. But the locals thankfully stood up for its preservation. It’s about a 2km walk from the Wooden Bridge to Our Lady of the Sea. North Bull Island in a bird sanctuary, Ireland’s first, species such as Brent geese, waders and ducks are attracted by sand dunes, salt marsh and tidal mudflats. You can enjoy many circuits here.

So lucky to live near the Clontarf seafront. Whatever time of day you visit its so nice to have the sea breeze energise you. Dublin City Council do a great job of keeping the grass in tiptop condition and the outdoor sports equipment were so welcome during Covid.
