I had a really awful experience here. DO NOT get your film developed here. I shot a huge career project back at the beginning of June and had all of my negatives developed by their lab. The scans came back brown and grey with awful tones and the quality was terrible. I complained and after days of no response and follow-up, they finally refunded me just for the scanning fee. I then took my negatives to another lab based out of Spain to be re-scanned because the quality was so horrible and not up to par with a professional lab. This lab (they are very good with a great reputation) told me that not only were the scans terrible quality with strange colors but the actual negatives were damaged almost beyond repair and that Conns had damaged both the scans and the original negatives. I then paid double scanning fees by this lab to have the scans hand color corrected to try to save what quality that I could out of the images. So upsetting. I then came back to Conns to explain to them the situation and show them samples of what the other lab was able to correct in the images and ask for compensation for my damaged film. They tried to tell me that my negatives had some sort of “cast on them” which is why the scans came back of bad quality which is not true- I had some rolls developed from the same box, same shoot, same day sent to another lab and the scans came back beautifully. I don’t believe that Conns would have given me a partial refund had they not known they had done damage to my scans so trying to say it’s on me is ridiculous. I also didn’t appreciate the person on the phone telling me that I shouldn’t be shooting a full project on film because it’s not reliable when I have been doing this for years and every lab I have ever worked with has given me gorgeous results. Below the sample on the left is the corrected coloring from the second lab who rescanned (they corrected to the best of their ability with the damaged negatives) and on the right is the scan quality Conn’s deemed acceptable to send me.

I bought a DJI Mic that became faulty after a few days. I tried to resolve with DJI but noticed I would be stuck with a fee on top of it taking at least 2 weeks to get done. So I got onto Conns Cameras where I bought it and within days I had a working mic back in my hands. No fee. I cannot express how happy I am with their service. I will be a returning customer!

I've been a photographer for 40+ years and I can safely say that Conns Cameras are hands down the best. The friendly helpful staff, attention to detail, pricing and overall quality service they provide are second to none. And no, I don't have any connection to or affiliation with Conns Cameras, in fact I don't even know the names of the people I've dealt with down the years. However I believe that a quality service should be acknowledged, and Conns Cameras are a prime example of that quality.

Searched Ireland without success for a particular Nikon battery. Amazon would not deliver batteries although they had it. Only place I found (at wits' end) was Conns. Not only that but they offered me the option of a cheaper equivalent. I was delighted to take both. AND was served with a smile.

Very good experience renting equipment for a shoot. Staff were helpful recommending a camera + lens combo as well as being very pleasant to deal with upon collection and return. Will definitely use again

Got a great deal on a used lens and a new tripod today. Both lads were spot on with their recommendations and price was reasonable. Sure I could have saved a small few euro buying it online but the advice alone was worth every cent.

Great experience with this place. I purchased online a Canon camera from them in Jan 2019. A few days back it stopped reading the SD card anymore. I went to them, they checked and noticed the card bay was damaged, they rented me a camera until mine will be fixed. Highly recommend them, fast , profi and very kind.

Wonderful little shop! Have purchased from them twice over the past week; once buying a new camera and lenses, then once to return one of those lens and exchange it for another, as well as picking up a couple of extra bits and pieces. Ordered a drone and some accessories over the phone before Christmas. The lads who looked after me were friendly, knowledgeable and were very helpful. There was some delays with the delivery (understandable, Christmas after all) which were communicated with me and got resolved very quickly. Can't recommend highly enough. This is one of Irelands hidden gems. Conns Camera shops is situated in the heart of Dublin. At first glance you may think it -too small. But once you engage with the sales staff you quickly change your mind. I have been there several times. I have to admit I just go there to feel the weight of the camera or lens I want to buy. However, if I ask I am often directed to something, I may have never considered. I rarely buy from the shop, but leave with a head full of information. After exhaustive internet searches, I eventually make up my mind, and contact the patient sales staff !!! And place my online order, I have never been disappointed.

I have been in and out of camera shops in Dublin and the experience here was fantastic and the best to date. Nigel was a fantastic help and shared a laugh as well as valuable advice and support. Will definitely be back again for any equipment in the future thanks guys!

Excellent service. I came in looking for photo paper, I had looked on the website beforehand but wasn't sure on what I wanted. When I went in I was attended to instantly and I was asked what type of paper I was looking for, and after I said what I wanted I got offered the exact option I was looking for at two different price points. The knowledge and customer service here is amazing and the staff are very nice. I have been here before and I have never had any bad experiences, but this experience was great and I'll definitely come back more!

Mike and Bob run a great store here. Lots of specialist knowledge for any question you may have and a wide range of gear for anyone from a beginner/amateur up to the pro photographer. Well worth a visit for anything camera or photography related. Also you can print your photos on site if you wish to.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, who'll do their best to get you the right camera that suits your needs. Wide range of digital cameras and accessories for sale here. Definitely a good place to go if you are likely to be investing in photography. They do trade-ins as well.

The NUMBER ONE camera shop in Dublin for me - superb staff that really know their camera gear and outstanding customer service. The print lab is also excellent and the only place I go when getting prints done for competitions etc. Been a customer for at least ten years and I can't recommend the Conns team highly enough.. If you're in Dublin and you need anything camera related then these guys are the ones to talk to.. you will not be disappointed

I've been shopping with Conn's online for a few years now and I am still SO impressed by their customer service! Door to door delivery on several occasions (very often on the same day) plus their great selection of products to cover all of my needs from major equipment to spare parts and accessories/cables etc. I've purchased both new and used equipment and have never had a complaint. Nice store! They have a little bit of everything for everyone. I took my rolls of film to be developed and it took them just 1hr to do so. Very speedy service. Also the quality of the development was on point, no dust, scratches or fingerprints on my film 🙌 I'm very happy and will come back again

Worst experience in Conns cameras. Usually staff are quite friendly and professional but today was the complete opposite. Was ignored in the shop as we waited at the till to checkout. A member of staff standing behind counter texting on his phone while another member of staff called him over to laugh at a customers passport photo headshot they had just taken. Appalling and uncomfortable experience. Won’t be in a hurry back anytime soon.

I bought a new Canon 90D and Canon printer from Conn's. I got absolute top class service. I cannot fault them one bit. I dealt with Bob himself who was an absolute gentleman. He gave me as much time as I needed to make up my mind, and explained everything to me. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone. I look forward to my next visit. I've bought equipment here in the past and the service was always top quality. But recently switched to 35mm and dropped some rolls in to be developed. Got them back not even 24 hours later and the negatives were great. Brilliant service.

Thus was a brilliant experience. My camera was fixed in two minutes.I was just thrilled . The staff were very friendly, knowledgable and professional. I highly recommend this shop to all camera owners 😃

Amazing experience, bought a used Fuji from the site and it arrived 24hrs later in mint condition. Only 780 of a shutter count. Blown away by the service and quality of the camera. Recommended.
