Amazing place during the day. Even more amazing at night on a clear sky . It's utterly amazing what the eye can see after 10 minutes of adjusting to the complete darkness. Well worth a visit but at night just make sure to park well into the side .

The Lough Tay View Point is an awesome spot in the Wicklow Mountains. It has incredible views and beautiful landscape. You over look GuinnessLake that is privately owned and is surrounded by mountains. It is also a great spot for photos or just sit relax relax and enjoy the view for awhile. It is accessible by car bike or hiking. We did it by bike while biking the Ballinastoe Mountain Bike Trails. We were here in late September during fall. I would definitely recommend to anyone to check out this location

Stunning view's, weather permitting. Lovely walks in the surrounding areas. Great spot for photographers, tourists and anyone interested in a spot for movie making. This is the spot where they based the town of Kattegat in the Vikings series.

Absolutely gorgeous lake. So blue and the views are breathtaking. Definitely recommend a visit during a sunny day since the colours are even more glorious. There’s enough parking to set down and to see everything around the lake as well.

Went Stephens Day 2021, bit of a crowd but not as bad as previous years. Fantastic views and a real feeling of getting away from it all. Lovely after all the excess of Christmas!

What a lovely spot in Wicklow. The road along the lake itself is quite picturesque and beautiful! Ireland has so many beautiful places and this is definitely one of my favourite places. It's like an hour drive from Dublin city and 40 mins drive from Wicklow Town. But a very beautiful spot if you ever want to have a quick drive from Dublin!

Great spot for viewing the lake. Gets busy at times and there's a few spots to park along the way

Guiness lake or lough Tay is a pretty lake just outside of Dublin in county Wicklow. Easily reachable and very good place to watch the sunset . A tough drive thought many bends on the road
