A great facility for parking and being able to use bathroom facilities is fantastic. Well worth the €5 cover charge. You can pay via Revolut if you forgot to bring cash. Take a left when you leave the car park and entrance to the reservoir walk is just down the road to the right.

Little known,beautiful reservoir, just outside Dublin, where the Liffey and Dodder rise in the Dublin Mountains. About an 8-10 km walk if you do both reservoirs. Well worth it on a nice day. Not too many people.

€5 parking fee, honesty cash box or if you're like me, there's a credit card option. It's very close to the lower lake and they say they offer coffee/tea on the weekends. Plus there's a bathroom at the car park!! Helpful if you've been driving for a while.

Lovely looped walk around the reservoir.

Great car park, with really good facilities, we were welcomed by the very friendly dog Indy. Really close to the trail, both us and our dog Sansa thoroughly enjoyed our walk. Would highly recommend this car park and trail.

5€ to park, utilities open only over the week end. Great place if going around the reservoir. Might get crowded on sunny week ends after 10am.

One of the best places to cut down the Dublin noise and relax in a good weather day. A lovely walk around the serene lake is all you can ask for. Not far from the city , hardly takes 45 minutes drive. The car park is very efficient as you can take your own parking ticket from a meter, keep Revolut handy. You get drinks ice cream and other stuff too. They are going to get up a restaurant here soon, so it is going to be even more fun. Cheers!

We cannot recommend this place highly enough, great secure parking facility (CCTV) lots of spaces to park your car/truck when you head on your hike around this amazing place. There is a little coffee shop/dock with snacks and the cleanest toilet I have ever discovered in the great outdoors, flush and all..I was impressed. I believe the coffee dock is just open weekends, but I believe if hikers and explores like myself knew there was a place to come up and have a sit down, rest, read have a coffee and take in the scenery for a longer period I think this place would do really well and bring more tourism to the area not just at weekends but on a daily basis. Its a hidden gem!
