The location of the hostel is great. All of the stuff were very kind an helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The only thing that bothered us was cold water in the bathroom. You can leave your bags there before check in and after check out, which is great.

So I wish I could give this hostel a good review because they did have nice beds and cleans bathrooms but unfortunately the management is so disorganized. My friend and I booked two beds in an all girls dorm and upon checking in we were spilt up in separate rooms. I have stayed in many hostels during my travels and have never had that happen. Luckily in the morning we were able to request to be in the same room and they were able to accommodate. Then on the last night I get woken up by a girl thinking I am in her bed yet I am in the bed I was assigned. Then management comes to the room and the girl has the same first name as me and management checked her in as me by mistake and gave her my bed. It explains why when I got here bed 7 was taken and I slept in bed 8 for two nights. Told receptionist I was in bed 8 and they never change it in there system. It is unfortunate this hostel has management that is disorganized and unable to listen to request of the guest because everything else about the accommodation was great. The bed was very comfortable and had a curtain for privacy. The bathrooms were large and clean. More soap dispensers in the bathroom would be preferred though. There was just one in the middle to share among 6 sinks. If I ever come back to Dublin I will look for alternative accommodation.

The truly ugly face of capitalism. The place has been downgraded totally since the it was Dublin International hostel. The bed has been changed to small cell with lockers underneath that are soo small that they is probably only going to be used for shoes, not even a small suitcase fits in. The bathrooms with no ventilation stinks after 2 month use. Hooks on the wall behind the beds, prison like colourless rooms, lack of decoration, kitchen with no cooker and tables, kettles placed on shelves in a room with no running water and no tables around to actually put down coffee, sugar, milk or cup. The nice reception with couches are gone. The dining area with acoustic that makes you want to get out of there before you even enter. Lack of ventilation everywhere. Dangerous staircase to the rooms with no light. Totally cramped reception. Garden with one, yes one table only. Cleanliness, tops of beds never cleaned, so absolutely health risk for people with asthma or allergy. No wonder that the ratings after only 2 months are down to 7.5. And predictable will decline due to lack of facilities and atmosphere. Only positive thing here is the nice Spar shop that's less than 2 minutes away.

Great, friendly staff. The room and bathrooms were very clean. The bed was comfy. There is a lovely cafe by reception and it's in a good location. There was a lot of noise though, the walls are thin and you can easily hear people talking, walking through the hall, doors closing, etc. My room was near the bathroom and the stairs, and it was very difficult to sleep through the noise of people using the loud stairs and the hand-dryers in the bathroom. Bring earplugs/earphones to block out the noise if you're a light sleeper!

I think this hostel is for really strict budget travellers. Pros: The rooms are like capsules which is great. Another positive aspect is that the rooms are not mixed, so it feels a lot safer. There's a lounge, a kitchen and luggage storage close to the reception, it could be paid, since I have used I don't know. Cons: I thought that the toilets were not very clean and it was running out of toilet paper a lot. So ideally would need more toilet rolls inside the toilet. If you are disable or have troubles with stairs this hostel is not for you. There's a lot of stairs. Like a lot!!. I think they should state that prior to the booking. You will need to pay to rent towel 3euros and to rent the padlock. So my advice bring yours.

Very lovely atmosphere easy to socialize with others in the lobby there is a pool table, board game, card games and a cafe, also there is study rooms and a garden for quieter activities. 24 hours reception and very nice staff. As for the rooms there is lots of options to choose from whether you want to be alone or share it with 1-8 people. The shared rooms still gives you so much privacy compared to other shared places and hostels because each bed has a curtain also a shelf with plug and mini lamp. There is a laundry room, kitchen, dining area and a food storage room for everyone staying there itโ€™s so easy to use and access. The bathrooms are clean and the housekeeping cleans it daily. There is enough showers and toilets for everyone no need to wait in line. The location is close to bus stopes, pharmacy, supermarkets and city center. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend the place!

The rooms are ok and beds are clean. The reception staff is nice (especially the man at night and the girl in the morning was also very friendly). However thereโ€™s a lot of confusion in the booking. My friend booked for the both of us and we were in different rooms at first. When we asked to be in the same room, someone was in my bed. Then the next day, I take a shower and they checked me out although I was still here. When I told them I was in a different bed, they still cleared out my bed and everything that was on it (my cardigan and travel pillow) are now gone and โ€œlostโ€. Since it was on my bed, I apparently wonโ€™t get any compensation for it. So lock everything in if you go there, and hope nobody will sleep in your bed in the meantime. Also, the showers could be cleaner! ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Overall it's nice but it is extremely pricey for what you get and for an hostel. Location ain't so great but it does the work. Staff were sweet and the room was nice.

The location was nice and close to the center. The beds were comfortable. However, staff were rude at times. Rooms were neither very comfortable nor very clean. Showers did not have water or would randomly change to cold or boiling hot.

Comfortable hostel experience. Facilities were clean, if in need of some TLC. Was difficult to find the entry, since it's unlabeled and the address on Google is different from the actual address (it's 61 not 61A). Would be nice if there were hooks in the shower room outside the stalls to provide a place to store clothes while keeping them dry. I liked the little sleeping pods, though, gave a nice level of privacy.

Room was so hot that nobody could actually fall asleep, bathrooms and toilets are disgusting, staff are friendly but not very helpful. Also my room literally smells like body odor and there is no air circulation

A nicely priced hostel in the center of Dublin. Amazing. The premises are partly shared with a school, but rooms and bathrooms for guests are private. Male and female sections are separated each unto their own floors, and the rooms are nice and clean.

One star is even too much. There was no hot water to shower and they have rooms that remind one of prison cells. No normal window, just a small roof window. so when you lie in the box-bed you can stare at a grey wall. Would not recommend!

The staff were very friendly and approachable, the rooms were very clean and it was great for the price. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The only complaint is the shower curtains needed to be replaced and the water wasn't consistently hot.

I didnโ€™t know at first that Iโ€™d need to do let 50 euros when I arrived at the reception, but it was returned to me in my check out. Itโ€™s cleaned everyday, itโ€™s a comfortable and beautiful place, hot showers and good service from the reception. Itโ€™s also well located, close to the center, with a drugstore and a convenience store right in the corners.

Great place to stay and staff very friendly. Clean bedding which is important for me. Only thing that is missing from the Dorms are curtains/blinds from the windows. Adjacent to other buildings that people can see in when lights on now during the winter period.

Generally great hostel, fairly quiet, I was in a 4 bed dorm and slept surprisingly well. Only real downside was the first shower I had was nearly cold. But I had a different shower a day later and was fine. Toilets all mostly neat and clean and stocked, but once there was a few in a row without paper.

I stayed at Leevin Hostel for a of couple days. I was pleaselly well received by the receptionists, which is amazing once I had just arrived and didn't know much about the city location and best spots to visit, they gave me the best tips. They were all so sweet and whiling to help me anytime I needed. Besides, I found many facilities what we don't usually find in hostels, as laundry and a kitchen well equiped. The free luggage room was handy by the way! I highly recommend, worth it the price. :)

The hostel is not too far out but in a bit run down area. Bedrooms are basic, one socket and light by the bed, bring your own padlocks for the drawers that come with each bed. In my room, with the window open, you could hear an alarm from outside continuously (both nights), but with the window closed it was uncomfortably warm in the room. The temperature in the showers cannot be adjusted so you have to wait for it to get warm and then it doesn't stop and you almost burn yourself, the water pressure is low to sufficient depending on the shower room. We were there with 11 people, unfortunately we were put in 3 different rooms regardless of the booking. Also, some of us were duplicated in the system, making check-in extra complicated, even though most of us had already checked in online. Since the stored credit card details were not charged, we were then locked up in the inner courtyard the next morning because our cards no longer worked. After we paid, everyone had to have their card activated again individually. The staff was very friendly and luggage can be stored in a locked room both before and after the stay. If you are looking for a simple and inexpensive place to stay that is not too far from the center, you will probably not be disappointed here.

Very nice Hostel! Reception personal is very nice. Room shared with 7 p are clean and big enough. Kitchen is organized and well equipped. The bathroom faucet needs to be repaired so that it doesn't lose water infinitely.

What a nice vibe. This old church connected with an language school is a nice experience to get. The check in is pretty fast and the stuff is friendly. The Cafe when you enter just on the left side was managed by a nice woman working fast, smart and kind of looked that she likes what she does. Beside this you can leave the bags in the hostel till the check in time for free. Our room was in the first floor. The bed are very cool. You have box beds with the possibility to hide your bed with a curtain. You can charge your phone at the bed and also have lamp. The toilets are totally fine as well. You have good and much showers and toilets. We 3 boys loved the atmosphere and the feeling in this hostel. The people around looked also pretty cool so you can easily get in touch with new humans. We payed each person 39 euro for a night which was beside other opportunities pretty cheap. It's definitely a recommendation to try this hostel out.

Pros: Loved the pod bed in my room. Mattress was super comfy, charging socket and light made life easier. Plenty of storage and general space in room. Bathrooms very clean and spacious. Cons: Maybe I'm getting old, but hostels are expensive now?? My dorm was female only and a man ended up being in the room all night (I understand the hostel is not responsible for an individual's actions but it was kind of annoying and made the point of a female of only dorm completely moot). Also strict check in time at 3pm (no early check ins for any reason) is somewhat inconvenient.

I stayed here with 3 girlfriends in a 4 bed-room. The rooms were spacious and comfortable & you also has enough privacy (thanks to the curtains). We preferred it over the Abbey Court Hostel in Dublin (where we also stayed 3 nights). It is a nice location- easy accessible with bus 46a. The only problem is the smell in the bathrooms :(( people seem to throw their used toilet paper in the bin.

For the price of the hostel charges, was expecting more. The rooms were bare minimum, would have been nice to have hooks and chairs in room to put my belongings on. Would also have been especially useful to have hooks in the bathroom showers for belongings but absolutely nothing! It would also have been nice if there was a hostel sign outside as there is nothing on the exterior to show it is a hostel -only the sign for the English school next door is visible. They could also consider offering free tea and coffee in the kitchen as well? Also difficult to get to sleep as there were people walking through the corridors at all hours in the night carried on from midnight until I got up at 7am. I could also hear the blow-dryers from the bathroom so room not soundproof at all. However room and bathrooms were clean and safe which were the main thing and bed was comfortable, and the location was excellent -very close to centre. Satisfactory stay overall.

The bunk beds all have their own curtain for privacy, small reading light and comforter are very comfortable. Staff are friendly but they do not have any sign outside so it is hard to find. Staff said city does not allow to put the hostel sign outside. But this hostel was converted from the previous church so it is a church building and if you see you are in front of the church, then that is their hostel. The door to the reception desk should be always open.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean (there are soap dispensers in the showers). Plus, the beds have some sort of curtain that you can pull for privacy. Each bed had a lamp and a usb plug, very helpful for charging our phone for instance. Plus, but that may depend on the situation, the guests I shared the dorm with (all-women, 8 beds) were quiet and respectful, I didn't feel too worried about my personal belongings. As I had made my reservation a bit late, I was given sheets to make my bed myself, but if anything that was even more reassuring regarding the cleanliness of the bedding. There are a few bus stops and the Luas not too far, it's less than 10 minutes to the city center. I hope they keep these standards up and I definitely recommend!

I had a great and uncomplicated stay. The rooms and facilities are clean and employees friendly. The night guard even helped me out with some tea bags when I fell sick at night - appreciated this a lot! The interior could be a bit more cozy and the dining area a bit warmer, but thatโ€™s just my personal taste. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I stayed at 6 bed female only. I might say i have a very good experience, comfy bed and very clean toilet, kitchen area, quite too. My only concern is the sign outside of the hostel.. so difficult to find. All in all its a very nice place and highly recommended.

I loved the experience I had at the hostel. A great hostel for anyone starting their journey in Dublin, excellent facilities, proactive and lively staff and a complete structure that served me very well. The reception staff is super attentive and the rooms are very cozy.
