Never shopping here again - mixed us wrong paint, gave it to decorator who almost painted half of room with it until we realised - everyones time and money wasted.. Brought the paint back, explained what happened, was told that the "paint expert" already left so they cant mix new paint. Asked for a refund - would not give it to me until they "investigate" with the "paint expert" on what happened. They took photos of everything and my phone number and told me they will ring me the next day when he is in. It is now a week later... still waiting for the call, got the correct paint elsewhere already.. Worst customer experience ever and on top of it all, particular lady at the counter made me feel like i tried to scam them or something, just major disbelief and i cant even remember a single "sorry" about the situation. Paint mixing machine is not maintained there properly or else they are unable to use it, so beware.

Got most of what I needed. Met a great girl who was most helpful. Will be back

Tuesday 19th December went in to buy 3 plants.and Xmas tree lights .which there was little left. I asked for help of a lovely young man named Killian. He was so helpful - explained lengths - colours - remotes and power. He also showed me around the Discount section - I left the store so happy although having spent more money but got so many bargains . Lights for Xmas trees - Lights for all outside my house - Xmas decorations- batteries and decorations. I couldn’t believe the discount and his manners. He also helped me carry out to my car. So Killian thank u for all ur help and kindness. It’s lovely to see that there’s still great staff hired by companies and I’m chuffed with all the great quality of my purchases and discount. Great stuff in here for home and garden.

There are some bargains to be had but it just depends what your looking for. If you're looking for something in DIY or gardening then it might be worth a look to see if they have reductions. Some items are twice the price of Amazon, maybe an unfair comparison. The Wood filler in the photo, I got from Amazon for €4.91, Homebase €10.45. Other than that it's just you're standard DIY place.

Handy for your DIY stuff but Woodies can cheaper on certain products

Good for picking up reasonably priced items for the house. Can be good reductions from time to time.

Great selection of homewares. The staff were friendly & helpful & there were lots of reductions & special offers. I was thrilled to see thay wicker blinds are back in fashion & Homebase have a wide range of sizes, all reasonably priced. There are customer toilet facilities at the back of the shop.

Friendly, helpful staff but a v pricey shop.

Staff are great but prices are ridiculous compared to local hardware shops. Almost double the price on 3 of a certain product in comparison to local hardware.i was stuck and needed to get them when local was closed. Won't be first port of call for any products I need going forward.
