Totally outstanding. Definitely the best garden centre in Dorset. You name it they have it. You have to see for yourself you could make a day of it. Excellent 👌👌👌

I enjoy visiting this garden centre during weekends. Convenient location - not far away from Poole/Bournemouth city centre. Convenient parking near to entrance, lots of plants and tools to choose for your garden. Garden furniture looks pricey, but it could be of good quality. All kind of plants are both outside and inside, dogs are allowed to enter the shopping area.

The most untidy garden centre I’ve ever visited. Split bags of compost strewn everywhere, clutter blocking the aisles around the compost so you can’t get to what you need. Staff bringing out new stock before tidying up what’s already there. I’d be surprised if they’d pass any health and safety inspections. Also there was a sign on the door asking for masks to be worn yet I didn’t see one member of staff wearing one. They still had slug pellets on their shelves that are now banned. All in all the whole place could do with a real good tidy up. Have given them two stars due to their good range of plants.

Not as nice as other garden centres. Big ,more furniture than anything else and pricey even with a sale on.

I had a delivery of rattan garden furniture, not excessively big, but wouldn't go through the open patio door. I told Paul (the chef/delivery also) not to worry leave in garage and my son would take it over garage roof. No, they were so kind and took it over the garage roof for me, very kind and helpful..deserve more than 5 stars. Also very polite.👏

Poor customer service on the paving side. I ordered a set of paving to be delivered which they said would be 2 - 3 weeks. 4 weeks later no delivery and I had to follow up, the staff member I spoke to said they didn't want to call with a timeline in case the order didn't arrive from the supplier. It then transpired that they had the paving in stock the whole time.they then said it would be a further 2 weeks to be delivered. No compensation just a small apology. Very disappointing

How on earth has this place got so many good reviews? It is terrible. Went today - many many empty shelves. Things are very expensive here and hasn't even got the excuse of being a bit posh or trendy which enables inflated prices. It is a tip! Lots of very old stock with badly faded labels. The smaller plants section was decimated. I know this time of year is past the peak season for buying bedding plants and herbs etc but it was literally empty. I did a bit of a Garden Centre 'crawl' today and it is the only one like this. Went over to In Excess in Parley and they had plenty of stock so I was able to get my herbs and things there. No wonder this place was empty. Biggest puzzle to me right now is how low are peoples standards to give so many good reviews. Especially the person who says you could make a day of it!? And being the best Garden Centre. Obviously not been to many garden centres and is easily pleased.

My visits here tend to be for the cafe with a group of friends. The seating is great for groups and the staff are helpful and friendly. The coffee isn't strong enough for my taste, but today it was hot and frothy, as ordered. There's usually a selection of cakes and toasted teacakes; there's a food menu but I don't eat there. In the summer the outside seating is great, but it's separate from the cafe itself which is enclosed in the middle of the store. It gets a bit foggy in there with the cooking smells but there's plenty of space.

Large variety of plants and garden furniture. Also a nice cafe for a sit down and a chat.

Lovely garden centre with a massive range of products for inside and outside. Plus it as a lovely cafe which has a small menu with lovely food and drinks. And the staff are so lovely too. Certainly recommend going.

Fair prices on plants. High for garden furniture. Location good but the place needs an overhaul make over. Signage out front and from the road as I didn't even know what it was called. Clean up the plant pots getting all the weeds out. Organise and restructure stock that is everywhere. Old half conservatories showroom out back that makes me not want to buy one. Gardens by car park shpuld be glorious examples instead are full of weeds and unsold mature trees in huge pots which some are blown over. Potential to be a really good garden centre one day.

Sad to leave a bad review as all the staff, except the manager I assume, are very friendly and attentive. It’s a dog-friendly cafe, where dogs are only allowed on the carpet, yet the manager approached our table very rudely about our dog eating a treat on the carpet. We didn’t leave any mess, so I don’t see why that was necessary. His rude demeanour might explain why they seem to have such a high staff turnover. Really disappointing as we visit here often but we won’t be returning after this.

Great garden centre lots to see, some reasonably priced plants and other items. I purchased some kids garden bits for my daughter, she loves them. The café in the middle of the centre is also worth the visit, plenty of food on sale with your drink.

We always enjoy visiting here with local family member when we are staying from Cornwall. Nice selection of goods. Lovely cafe. Friendly staff. Usually always buy bulbs on our visits and this time several more plants too.

Plenty of stock: looks like a lovely Cafe; but most important, for us, excellent customer service. This is almost unheard of now and made such a pleasant change. We even had help getting things out to the car. However we knew the day would not improve as we had to then visit Curry's....it didn't. Thank you Canford Magna Garden Centre a pleasure visiting you.

Half the plants seemed dead, very hard to navigate around with an assistance dog. I pity the mobility scooter or wheelchair user as this place is not conducive to getting around all areas. Seems very poorly paid out. At least the plants we did buy haven't died!

While there went into ladybird cafe had a nice breakfast with coffee only thing was they did not do vegetarian breakfast which in this day and age I found strange I really think they should try to do vegetarian food 🙂

Great selection of garden furniture we ordered a large table and chairs and they were delivered within 5 days. One chair was slightly damaged on delivery but was replaced the following day - so great customer service.
