We booked a “premium” room that was definitely not worth the over $300/night price tag. We had a partial view of the harbor but mostly just a view of the parking lot and surrounding buildings through a small window. The hotel is in need of serious upgrades. There was always a long wait for the elevators that didn’t feel safe. The air conditioning was very loud and woke us up frequently in the night. Our room was not clean, there were stains all over the walls, ceiling, shower curtains, and comforters. I found what looked like blood on the inside rim of the sink. There were toothpaste splatters on the mirror. The tub did not drain quickly so you were always standing in inches of water while showering. Overall I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Perhaps one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The only positive is I used forms of rewards so I didn't have to pay anything. Rooms were smaller than normal. Very dirty and extremely dusty. Bathrooms had grime on floors and the shower didn't drain well. Walls had stains. To put the dirtiness in perspective, we had to leave a day early because our dust allergies were in overdrive, sneezed every 20 seconds but we leave the room and we stop sneezing in our car. No continental breakfast, which was surprising considering most hotels these days have something. They do have food at their restaurants but that requires paying money. All in all, I highly recommend skipping the Radisson in favor of a much cleaner and nicer Holiday Inn two blocks down the street.

This was the worst hotel stay of my life. Girl at the front desk was very unpleasant. Elevators were dirty and sounded like they were going to fall at any minute. Hotel room was filthy, floors not vacuumed, stains on walls, floors, furniture, and comforter. Comforter was not even enclosed in a duvet cover, rather two sheets folded around it. I got a second room which was better but not by much. Crack heads walking around all over too. I feel very ripped off by this stay, and a call to the health department is definitely in order. Stay away, much better hotels in better areas for the same price.

We stayed here to bring the kiddo to Bentleyville, which was a short walking distance so that was nice. Other than that, not much more positive things to say about our stay. Nothing really negative, just had higher expectations maybe. Not a very lively or welcoming feel walking in. The room was super out dated, smaller than expected and I feel like the cleaning could have been a little more thorough. Halls were pretty dirty and could have used a vacuuming. The lights on the elevater did not work for the outside buttons or the inside. Will choose a different hotel on our next trip. The staff at the front desk however, were very polite and nice.

Stayed there three nights last week. Clean comfortable room, helpful staff. We did not try either the lounge or restaurant so can't comment on those. The location is VERY convenient to the Duluth waterfront/Canal Park area. Will likely be my go to hotel on return trips to the area. Only downside was one of the elevators was a little wonky and sometimes didn't want to go up to the 11th floor.

Great location and service. Elevators sound like they are going to break down any minute, and the buttons barely work so it's a long wait if it's a busy time of day. No breakfast. A/c broke in the middle of the night but was fixed the next day. The pool was nice, hot tub was small but nice. Sauna was a nice perk. Location is everything. For the price per night you can deff find something better.

Cool building. Great location. A lot of love and money needs to go into this place to bring it back up to snuff. Very dingy. They have been replacing the bare minimum over the years. Bathroom had new floor, but chipped sink, old tub, 80s wall paper with grout splashed all over it. Water pressure was good, but the faucet didn't work properly. Water always came out the faucet and the shower head at the same time and the tub couldn't drain quick enough while showering so you were standing in water. I did see silverfish in the bathroom. Many people brought dogs here. So there almost always a dog or two in the lobby or outside.

Me And my Boyfriend stayed here booked a room the hot tub pool and sauna are down. They didn't tell us until we checked into our room. They don’t do breakfast in the morning u have to pay for it at the restaurant. I’ve never heard of a hotel that don’t do free breakfast we wasted 110$ for a night idk if I’ll return

Being that this was a Radisson hotel, I thought it would be cleaner and nicer but my room had a funky smell like mildew and the place was run down a little through. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant at the top was closed most of my stay. Great views of you're lucky though.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel Duluth for a night with my family. The hotel's location was quite convenient, and the check-in process went smoothly. However, I must say I was rather disappointed with the condition of our room. While the room had ample space and seemed welcoming at first glance, it was let down by several maintenance issues. The shower curtain, remote control, baseboards, sink, and tub all displayed signs of age and neglect, with visible mold and rust. These issues greatly detracted from our overall comfort during our stay. Despite the positives of the location and check-in experience, the room's condition left a lot to be desired, and it's an aspect I hope the hotel management addresses in the future to ensure a more pleasant stay for their guests. I'd like to clarify that my dissatisfaction with the room's condition at the Radisson Hotel Duluth has nothing to do with the in-house staff or the hotel's employees. Rather, it seems to be more related to the owners, management, and perhaps the overall brand standards. It's essential to recognize that the hotel staff were courteous and professional during our stay. However, the room's maintenance issues and overall condition were a letdown, and it's my hope that the hotel's management and brand take the necessary steps to address these concerns for future guests.

The room was clean. The building itself could use some TLC. The elevators sounded like they were in need of some oiling and could have had a good ol wipe down. The rotating restaurant was a disaster! We went for lunch and no one was there to seat us, broken glass on the sticky floors, and tables were still full of plates with food on them which indicated to us that the food may have not been too good. The bar was lined with dirty glassware from looked like could have been from the night before?? I loved my city view from my room. Front desk staff were friendly. I will go back but I'll skip the rotating restaurant. Unfortunately.

Nice location, I paid extra for the lake view, which wasn't bad, but the hotel feels a bit neglected. A little rough around the edges, but felt fairly clean. The bathroom was awkward, tiny sink, and the toilet is right in front of the door. Carpet in the room was well worn, and stained. Parking lot is terrible, its riddled with potholes. Overall, I will likely opt for another hotel on my next trip to duluth.

We stayed at the Radisson 3 nights at the end of September 2023. I agree it is a 3 star hotel. It was adequate and comfortable. The restaurant has a great view and it’s kid friendly (fun available board games to play). Here’s what is disappointing with our stay (although this happens in other hotels, too). They never came to make up the bed, vacuum, give fresh towels, provide more coffee pods, or empty trash. There isn’t a door hanger tag to request housekeeping, and when I called housekeeping late morning, no answer. One perk of staying in a hotel was always the joy of coming back to a clean room. I miss those days so much!

Thought we'd try a different location when staying in Duluth. Had a view of the harbor, which was beautiful. Ate at the Apostle on Saturday night as well as breakfast the next morning. Starbucks is two blocks away. Canal Park was a 5 minute car ride. Elevators were slow...could use some updates. Overall...beds were comfy and it was pretty quiet.

Asked to have a late checkout. They said to remind them the next day. We did. Later they said the checkout was still noon. We asked a third time for a late checkout and they said it was 1pm. Room service still came at noon and said we weren't scheduled for a late checkout. Also, whirlpool was cold, lounge had no breakfast and revolving restaurant was closed on both Monday and Tuesday. Very disappointing stay. Won't be back.

Hotel staff was very friendly and made our stay so much nicer. Love that the hotel is pet friendly and walking distance to most touristic places. I hope my grandchildren will remember this trip for a long time. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The prices seem a little high for what you get. The room was clean, but there were things that should have been replaced. I thought the toilet seat was dirty. Instead, it looked like they tried to put new sealant on it or something I wasn't sure. The toilet seat should have just been replaced. I wish I'd taken pictures, it's hard the explain what i mean. The hot tub was pretty small. The staff was excellent. Everytime I needed something they were quick and polite. I can't remember the guys name who was at front desk that night, but he was great.

The place is nice. Not over the top but nice. The view from my room on the third floor was nice, again not great but nice. The staff was very friendly and also super helpful. They have a pool and a hot tub which I did not partake. My room was clean. Didn't smell and the sheets were clean. My room was right in front of the elevator so if a creep was following me they would've seen what room I was in. It's a bit worrisome, but not a big deal. The hotel is dog friendly, and I saw so many cute fur babies! Any hotel that welcomes dogs is a win in my book. They have the rotating restaurant on the top floor. I was gonna have dinner there but wasn't aware I needed a reservation. I opted for something else as my stomach was screaming at me for food asap. It's totally fine. Poor planning on my part. No big deal. The next morning, I did go up to order breakfast. The views were great, and I sat there for a good 2 hours just watching the world go buy as i enjoyed my coffee. The only downside to this place is the parking. They have a parking lot, but it fills up fast. You can park at the bowling alley across the street, but I was a little sketchy on it since I'm a woman, and we've all heard the stories. After I came back from dinner, there wasn't a spot right away, but I got lucky, and someone left! If you stay here, get an Uber and leave your car. Not bad for the price I paid. Nice, but not great. 7/10

Had an adjacent connected room and sound easily traveled through the door. Elevators are slow and sound almost broken. Lounge in basement served lukewarm coffee and a bit expensive for breakfast. Location is walkable to shops. Pool, sauna, and hot tub were nice. Staff was nice, and easy parking, check in/out. There are a lot of options for hotels might check out something more modern next time.

Had the feel of your typical 2 star hotel, one of the cheaper options in the area, but not what I would call inexpensive. With a bed, bathroom, shower, tv it had everything we needed, but the room didn't seem thoroughly cleaned in a few places, and the ceiling above the shower was peeling/had moisture damage. It was nice that the pool was open to midnight for adults. If you want to use the sauna, it might be a good idea to turn it on 30 minutes before you want to go in, if it hasn't been used in will not be hot for a while. No breakfast during the week was a bit disappointing, but that's on me for assuming.

Nice pillows, comfortable bed. Poor counter desk customer service; the employees are obviously not there to help you have a nice stay. Poor water drainage in the shower; it pooled at our ankles. Yuck. Okay dry sauna; deep pool. No bathrooms on the main/pool floor for use. Encourages kids to pee in the pool *double yuck* Don't ask for anything here & you may not be disappointed.

We didn't stay at this hotel, we just decided to try the rotating restaurant. It was recommended by a friend for an "upscale" dinner out. Everything about it was disappointing. The whole place is dirty - from the hotel entrance to the restaurant, and everything in between. We arrived a little early for our dinner reservation and were told they couldn't seat us until our reservation, so we had to sit and wait. That would have been fine except there were numerous open tables, and other couples came in after us who didn't seem to have a reservation, and were seated right away. The furniture/decor looks like it hasn't been updated, replaced, or cleaned since 1972. The whole place was incredibly loud. We were forgotten and had to remind the hostess, at our reservation time, that we needed a table. We weren't served right away because our waiter "had to go downstairs." Looking over the expensive menu, waiting for a waiter to acknowledge us, we finally agreed we would rather eat somewhere else. We left without ever seeing our waiter. We went to a nearby Italian restaurant that was similarly priced but delivers the kind of food, experience, environment, and service you would expect for $30+ per person.

We stayed here over a weekend up in Duluth. Rooms and the overall hotel are okay, but they definitely need to do some remodeling. The fancy spinning restaurant on the top floor wasn't even spinning. We went to the restaurant at the top for breakfast, which was very good. I would recommend this place but don't expect top-tier rooms and hotel experience. It's a mid range, okay hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. We couldn't get dinner in the restaurant on top as it was very busy that night. Does have a very cool vibe though. However, we did get in to have breakfast the next morning and if you're willing to overlook the slow service and mediocre food for the awesome views then do it. Since we couldn't get in for dinner the night before we went down to the lounge and had a pizza. It tasted great and the bartenders were awesome and a lot of fun. They've got some drinks on the menu that we liked and a tiki bar atmosphere. Overall, I think I would stay here again.

Great views if you are in the tower. This hotel could be so much better with just a few minor improvements. The old antiquated air conditioning units are very noisy and the condensation creates a huge wet spot on the carpet, which sucks if you step in it with your socks on. I have experienced the wet carpet here more than once when staying here. The hotel must spend a fortune replacing old, moldy carpet all the time. The rooftop bar restaurant closes way too early. The rooms have older, smaller flat screen TVs like you see in a Super 8 or Motel 6. For a Radisson I expect more and usually get more.

Mixed experience. Pros: nice view, the rooftop bar/ restaurant was neat and had rotating seating. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, room was clean, all the basics. Cons: I don't think the decorations have been updated since the 60s, and the elevator feels like that too, whole place feels a bit rickety and... Competently maintained, but nothing above or beyond.

The hotel is a bit outdated but we enjoyed our stay here. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, and good sized except for the bathroom was on the small side. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were very much to my liking. I did not find the elevators slow but they do rattle a bit. We would stay here again

Decent hotel for the price. It's very old, but has good service and a great central location. Walking distance from places downtown. Small drive to canal side or uprising Superior St. Apostle Supper Club on the top floor rotates for 360° harbor views. Perfect for watching the full moon!

Stayed in the presidential suite. Very spacious and had amazing views of downtown Duluth. The restaurant at the lower level is a very cool place to go and hangout during the colder months when I was staying. Loved the pool and sauna as well. Also love the ability to walk the sky way system through the hotel.

It's a mediocre hotel at best. The staff was absolutely awesome. Very friendly. Very helpful. The location is good. Just a short walk from anything you want to go see or do. Great views. But the rooms are dated. I'll bet 30 years ago this place was one of the nicest places to stay. But the hotel needs some serious updating. For example my room ac unit wouldn't cool the room below 75⁰ The bed was kind of worn out. The bathroom was small with a very odd layout. All in all it's an ok hotel there are definitely worse places to stay. I just don't think I'd want to pay several hundred dollars a night to stay here. I wouldn't say it's worth that.

This hotel is in need of a major remodel (and deep cleaning)! Not worth the price at all, so believe the negative reviews. We had to switch rooms 3 times just due to the cleanliness. Front desk was not very sympathetic and we received no type of compensation for the hassle. $250 for a 1 night stay in a room with marker on the walls, mold in the shower/sink/air-conditioner, nail polish in the carpet, no fan in the 1920’s style bathroom, broken furniture, etc. We should have just went somewhere else but were already running so late due to switching rooms hoping for something better. Overall would NOT recommend, especially if you have kids.
